Aluminium is theoretically 100% recyclable without any loss of its natural qualities. According to the International Resource Panel's Metal Stocks in Society report, the global per capita stock of aluminium in use in society (i.e. in cars, buildings, electronics etc.) is 80 kg (180 lb). Much of this is in more-developed countries (350–500 kg (770–1,100 lb) per capita) rather than less-developed countries (35 kg (77 lb) per capita). Knowing the per capita stocks and their approximate lifespans is important for planning recycling.

Recovery of the metal via recycling has become an important use of the aluminium industry. Recycling was a low-profile activity until the late 1960s, when the growing use of aluminium beverage cans brought it to the public awareness.

Q: Just found aluminium foil pieces, a lollipop, a card, and an empty water bottle with a hole in it in my nephew's carWe also found liquor in the trunk, just to give you an idea of his interestsAre those three items a sign of him doing weed? We do not smell anything in the car, but his behavior lately and the fact that he has a new group of friends is making us wonderLet me know, thanks.
Chicken Parmesan with angel hair noodlesThat is a simple, put in and walk away mealIt should take about an hour TOTAL!!
Q: If the aluminum cans that are littered end up in our water, what are the effects of it? Aluminum poisoning is one but what are the others? I'm trying to inform people about littering and aluminum cans is the main conceptThis is for school.
As C.Mwrites, aluminum is unlikely to dissolve and poison peopleIt is more likely to dissolve in alkali, so acid rain helps preserve itCans may also have a coating of plastic or paint which may help preserve them against the elementsIt is still one of the best materials to recycle, because it saves all the energy which would be needed to make (refine) more aluminum.
Q: Is there any health advantage to utilizing recycled aluminum foils?

There are no health benefits from using recycled aluminum foils. In fact, reusing aluminum foil can be unsafe as it can lead to the ingestion of harmful bacteria or substances that may have adhered to the foil. Additionally, the foil can tear or break, potentially causing injury if swallowed. It's always recommended to use fresh, clean aluminum foil for food safety and hygiene reasons.

Q: I need a pipe but have no foil
Get a aluminum can and press it flat in the middle and make a small bowlthen take a needle or something that will make some small holesPunch a hole in the bottom of can that you can put your finger over while your sucking out of the drink holethen release your finger and you have the perfect homemade pipe Just hold a can on its side and hold it up to your mouth with drink hole up against your lips and you'll see how to make it
Q: these are fevicryl acrylic colors.please help asap.I tried vanish but i dont want to try bleach.
Fill a small bowl with Nail Polish Remover Soak the painted areas in this bowl for at least a half an hour The paint should come right offThen launder as usualMake sure you protect whatever surface the bowl is sitting on.maybe put a piece of aluminum foil under the bowl.
Q: any internal diameter from 15/64 inch to 6mm would do, and as long as its between 2 and 3 feet
Yes, it is safe to cook potatoes or other veggies in the microwave safelyThere is a trick to this, but it is very simpleIf you want to microwave potatoes, cut them in cubes as if you were going to cook them on the stove top2) put all in a microwave safe bowl (bowl size depends on how much you want to make)Once potatoes, broccoli or whatever veggie you are wanting to cook faster the safe way in the microwave with tin foil, after veggies are in bowl, rinse with water and drainRest of water will stick to veggies 3) Once you have the water drained, take a piece of tin foil (the back dull side of it) and shape it to fit the inside of the bowlNOTE: Be sure to have the tin foil's DULL (NOT shiny side) facing upward and fold any of the remainder of any foil downwards facing the bottom of the bowland under the shiny sideThen, once you have the dull side of the foil all situated with NO Shiny part of it showing, take some Cling Wrap and put over the top of the bowl using a rubber band to secure itFor a Medium size bowl, set the microwave to cook the cut and cubed potatoes to about 15-20 minutesBroccoli, about the same for timing, depending how crisp or tender you want itUsing Tin Foil IS SAFE when facing ONLY the DULL side up!!! It's worked for me for a LOT of years!!! I learned this easy tip a LOT of years ago and have been using it ever since if I don't want to go the long route.
Q: bolted togetherBed has electric heater under the plastic liningThe room stays in mid-50's F at nightI don't like a warm bedroom, am also being thrifty (cheap)Is a N-E room, with large N window just above head of bedEdoor to outside about 6 feet from the bedIs a wood door over an inch thick, no other insulation to doorWould it be useful, energy efficient, to use packing peanuts in the open space inside the frame that touches floor? There's only a partial basement and I don't think it reaches to bedroomProbably just bare earth there. Will be using clean carpet strips, maybe some old clean bed-covers, inside the top frame for insulationI need to put those under the liner - hadn't thought of that before!Thank you for thinking and answeringAny helpful suggestions about the room are also welcome.
The packing peanuts will work.to an extent, although the relatively large air gaps between the peanuts will lower the efficiencyStill a nifty recycling ideaWhat I would prefer is to by a sheet of the foil-faced high density foamboard, anywhere from 5/8 to 1, place under the plastic liner with the heater on topNot only will you get the insulation value of the foam, you will get the aluminum facing reflecting the heat upwards into the mattressYou can tape the joints with Aluminum heat duct tape (Duct tape isn't really used for duct work, aluminim tape is.) which will seal the seam and also reflectI think you will be amazed at the resultsIf you wish to use the peanuts also, you could, but, they are a potential nesting material for pestsI might avoid on that basis aloneGood luckAnd I too like a cold bedroom and a warm bedvery comfy.
Q: My boyfriend just told me about a pie that he lovesI was going to make one for him but cant find a recipe for it any whereIt's called a peaches and cream sugar cream pie.
this works among me and my friends: get a very large gatorade, buy a bottle of cranberry pills, empty the cranberry pills into the gaterade and let them dissolve completely and just chug the gatorade should work if you do it right before
