- Q: I have a very old computer tower without the fat monitor. (which i through away years ago) I have some pictures on it that i would like to extract, but i don't know how to. And i lost the power cable to the tower. I would appreciate if you could help me. Thanks
- Any power cable from any computer or normal monitor will work. Boot the computer, copy the files to a flash drive or external hard drive, and then plug the new one back in and copy the files from the drive. If it's REALLY old (doesn't even have USB ports), then the easiest way may be to open the tower, remove the hard drive, and plug it in with an IDE to USB adapter (you can buy one online, or see if a computer shop has one). Make sure you find one with a power source.
- Q: My cousin gave me his old xbox but hes lost the cables so i asked one of my friends for his xbox cables to see if it still works and when i tried plugging it in the power wouldn't go in the xbox my cousin has is a halo 3 limited edition which is either an arcade or hes taken the hardrive and my question is, do all xbox-es have the same Cables for power etc and if not were can i get the right power cable for this console preferably bought in the uk
- No. Older versions of the 360 have a much more powerful brick. The newer ones have a less powerful one and the cable that goes from the brick to the plug is different.
- Q: ok, i want to install and upgrade the sound system in my car, volkswagen 2006, but i dont know where to run the power cable from the battery in engine compartment to the trunk where i place the amplifiers, anyone who knows, please help me out. thanks
- from the trunk down the side of the car (pop open the panels that sit on the bottom where the door closes. run the wire thru the firewall grommet where the ignition and internal power wires run thru. Use a coat hanger duct taped to the power wire to get it thru. should go thru with some pressure. just finished dropping in an amp in my accord.
- Q: I want to buy a 2nd power cable for a 22Hanns-G PC monitor (hg221a) but do not know what or where to buy one - any pointers
- This is a standard item. Go to an electrical/electronic/computer shop with the old one.
- Q: i have an amp with an 80a fuse i figure i shoud use a power cable with a 100a inline fuse what guagee should i use? also can i get two 8 guage wires with 50a inline fuses both to the ampthanks guys
- I also use an 2 channel amplifier with an 80amp fuse on board (I'm running two of them actually). If you are only running the one amplifier, 4 gauge cable is a safe option. If you're going to be running more amps, go 0 gauge. The only time you'd look at running multiple power cables from the battery is if your audio application demands it (like SPL cars, that run anything in excess of 4 amplifiers with MEGA continuous running power and also running multiple batteries at that, too). I don't think you're going that far, so the single run would be sufficient. From your 4 gauge cable, run a distribution block with however many points of 4 gauge cable running to your other amps. Hope this helps you :)
- Q: I bought a grand am and i was going to install a amp. in the trunk there are servil wires comming out of the side but idk which is with what does the power cable look like? the rc cables remote ect? all the ends are just cut off
- big red wires. go to walmart and get a kit, there like 20 bucks and it has everything you need
- Q: I've been looking online for some but can't seem to find some sync cables to strap these amps together. Anyone know where I can find them?
- go okorder and you'll see you want..
- Q: I am buying a graphics card with a 6-pin power cable connection, but i have no six pin power connections, so i need a converter that converts two molex (four pin) plugs into the 6-pin plug that i need. But i have no molex pins, so i need to convert my two sata 15-pin cables to molex pins so that i can complete the circuit. will this work without risking damage to anything, and will it work in the first place? Also, do i HAVE to use _two_ molex cables to make the pci-e (six pin) cable?
- hi confident you are able to, you need to purchase FDD 4 pin Molex to finished length Molex adapters or only butcher the cable and solder the recent MOLEX on and use some electric tape on the bare wires (would not seem exceptionally).
- Q: I currently have a 250 watt 2 channel power cord and a 500 watt alpine amp with 2 12 inch mtx terminator subs.i am continuously blowing blade fuses and i ended up buying a 680 watt power cable. Will this blow out my amp or do any damage or will it be all good and give the maximum power my amp can supply? (Without exploding) just wondering thanks!
- 250 watt power cord? Where are the fuses which are being blown? Maybe you put in the wrong fuses or the wrong amperage fuse.
- Q: Im planning on buying a psp go usb data and power cable from gamestop but need to know if it charges my dead psp go
- No - bought one 2 hours ago, have been charging for 1 hour and it will not come on. Additionally, the orange light does not come on when charging. Maybe it works if it is not already dead, but I can 100% confirm it doesn't work with one already dead.
