The product based on 2PFG1169\08.2007 is applicable for flexible cables (wires) with single conductor used at the DV side of photovoltaic system with the maximum allowable DC voltage as 1.8KV (conductor-to-conductor, non-earthed system). The product is suitable for the use under Class II security level with the maximum ambient temperature for running cables up to 90c, and many cables can be co-used in parallel.


Uses: This product is applicable to shared antenna systems, closed circuit television system and other signal transmission, and such cable has the characteristics of small attenuation and strong anti-interference.

Yes that is the correct cable that plugs into the motherboard SATA ports. Regarding the power cable. Some SATA drives have both the old style 4-pin power connector (like on the IDE drives) as well as the newer SATA power cable. If it has both, DO NOT plug both in at the same time or it can damage your PC. You can use one or the other but not both.
Q:How do I extend the power cable for a 1500W heater.
Assuming the current cord is rated properly, if you extend it, you will need to make the extension one size larger to avoid voltage drop, and overheating of the wire. Doing what you suggest is likely to produce a stiff section that is awkward to handle. I prefer to have a plugin connection so if someone trips over it or pulls a chair with the leg behind it, it will unplug instead of dragging the heater.

The first consideration is how much power can your speakers handle without self destructing? My opinion is that few can productively handle more than a couple of hundred, and that would be for very brief peaks. The average listening level in a domestic situation is on the order of a few watts - 10 or less. If you really have speakers that can handle that amount of power, and you want to deliver it efficiently, then you need to keep the 2-way resistance of the wires from the amps to the speakers at less than 10% of the speaker impedance. So for 4 ohm speakers (worst case) you want the line resistance to be below 0.4 ohms. For a 50 ft (100 ft 2-way) cable run, that suggests 16 AWG minimum wire gauge for each speaker. Your existing RCA cables should be OK assuming they only carry low level signals. If your present power service and grounding are on a 15 or 20 Amp branch circuit (US) , and no other heavy appliance loads (refrigerator, washer, airconditioner) are on that branch, then it is OK for the new amps.

There's nothing special about the cable, it's a standard 3-wire cable. I imagine the power cable from your desktop computer fits (try it to be sure). It doesn't have to say HP on it. These are available everywhere -- Radioshack, OfficeMax, OfficeDepot, Staples, Target, Walmart, even your local hardware store.

Q:How to join a power cable together?
You can install a plug on the cord to replace the one that was chewed off. Choose one with the same number of prongs as the cord has wires (2 or 3). Be sure to attach each wire to the correct terminal! Splicing the cord is also OK, and tape would not be a problem if applied properly, but I prefer to use heat-shrink tubing. When I do a top-grade splice, I first twist the wires tightly together without making a tail, then I solder them.
