- Q: My old card only needed one of these cables. but my new 4870 will need two. can i just use a IDE-to-PCI-e power cable? its only got 3 wires out of the 6 though. does this matter?
- You okorder /... It takes two 4-pin PSU molex connectors and converts it into 1 6-pin PCIe connector. Make sure your PSU can supply the necessary amps on its +12V rails, and if you got a PSU with multiple +12V rails, you need to make sure you got the load spread out among different rails to avoid overloading one rail.

- Q: I blew 2 fuses in my amp in my car, i have replaced them both, one was a 30amp and the other a 20. The 30 amp was an inline fuse from the battery to the amp and the 20 amp was a standard 20 amp fuse in the amp. As i said i replaced both fuses and try the amp again and it wouldnt go. There is a LED light on the top just lighting up a logo, when i attatch the power from the battery the light goes off and when i disconnect it the light comes on. When i dissconect the power the red light for diagnose comes on.

- Maybe. Some smaller PSUs don't have the right power rails (the way power is distributed to the wires) to do that for a power hungry card. Maybe, but I doubt it, considering the other stuff it must run. Bigger supplies have the correct wire harness for your card.
- Q: I am getting a new gaming computer for Christmas with a 700 watt, 12.5 AMP (I think) power supply. I have two power cords for computers on my shelf, but my dad is worried that a standard power cable won't properly power my computer. Do I need to get a more powerful cable? - A standard cord will work, that is not 7.5 amps it is 700w/115V=6.08amps. for 15 amps you need 14guage wire and for 20 amps 12 gauge 30 amps 10 gauge,and so on, you may need to be aware of how many other things you plug in to that circuit, such as a tv in another room or even another computer because you may have more than one room on the sam house circuit
