- Q: i want to use a 120 vac extention cord wire for the power cable to my amp, is this safe? extention cords have a heavier gage than the wire in radio shack and such and is much cheaper. i dont see why this would be a problem considering car batteries are only 12 volts vs. 120 volt extention cord raiting
- I have never tried an extension cord but i have tried 270v rated home wiring for outlets and stuff. The wiring I used wasnt really wire though it was made up of a solid piece of copper, not several strands of small pieces. It worked fine. I dont think an extension cord would work though. It is not a solid cable and i HAVE seen wires burn up within minutes due to being the wrong gauge, so if you plan on keeping your car/system for a while, just get the recommended amp kit. Good luck
- Q: My friend I were going to play his second Xbox 360 n his living room. Went to turn it on and the RROD turned up with three lights. So we took this one and hooked it up to the cables in his room. And guess what? No RROD... So, I am lead to belive that the Xbox 360's power cable is the one that causes the RROD. Only problem is that most people can' test this due to not having a second power cable. So post your ideas about this idea. Could Microsoft be lying to us by saying that the malfunction is inside there console. I'm only 14 and i figured this out. So, how is it that no one else has??
- Nope nothing new, there are like 5 types of RROD which is why they ask you to check the ligt on the power cable. if its green then its the consle but if its red then its the power cord. it might have been Red or you might have had the 1 time only problem which i had
- Q: then directly to the capacitor. or should the resistor be in the middle of the power cable.
- call radio shack
- Q: Power cable inspection, how many meters should be sampled?
- installation quota: cable ZR-YJV-4 * 70 + 1 * 35 is a five-core cable, you can refer to sets of "copper power cable laying cable (section mm2 below) 120? Cable "quota, and the fixed sub-sub-multiplied by the coefficient 1
- Q: I have had my Sony Laptop for about 2-3years. And only recently is it acting weird. When I have my power plugged in, the laptop runs fine and can be on as long as the power cable is in. But as soon as I take my power cable out, it automatically shuts down.I checked the power management, and it says my battery has 0% power. I have tried taking the battery out and putting it back in, but it still does not work. The lights on my laptop indicate it is charging, but it does not put any power into my battery and the only way it can run is if my power cable is plugged in. The battery is pretty much dead :/Is there any solutions to this? Considering I bought it in the UK and now live in the US
- there are a couple of things that could cause this. 1: You've twisted a wire in your adapter and it will only put out enough power to keep the computer alive. That happened to me once, actually. 2: Your battery is ruined. Heavy use or constantly having your laptop plugged in causes that. 3: Your battery driver is messed up. Little chance but still... If you feel it's number 3 then run a diagnostic test.
- Q: What is the difference between a YJLV cable and a VLV cable?
- . you want to achieve remote switch, right? In fact, from the host side of the original fixed switch button that cut the two lines, and then then you need to extend the extension cable you can, the super simple; . Internet cafes router, through the exchange (or hub) , Can achieve port expansion capabilities, you can access a lot of computers, but the Internet speed is limited by the router exit speed, that is the maximum speed will not exceed the router exit speed, and broadband providers will be on the server side of the uplink and downlink speed (That is, to provide customers with the speed) restrictions.
- Q: This is the second time the power cable has burned up. The cable itself frayed from overheating I suspect.
- It would have to be a combination of things that made it fray. Like, for example, being bent at an extreme angle while in use for long periods of time. Power cables get hot from normal use. The plastic insulation gets soft. If the power cable is laid in a comfortable position, if it is allowed to cool before being wrapped up, and there are no problems with the power adapter port on the laptop, a power adapter cable will last for the life of the laptop. Now, if you are using a Universal power brick, that is part of your problem. This laptop only requires a 65 watt adapter. Universal power adapters will push more juice to your laptop... up to 90 watts. This will cause the cables to get hotter. So, if you have not replaced it with a 19 volt 3.42amp brick specifically designed to work with your laptop... then you should do so. And feel free to buy one off OKorder. Same brick as what you get from Toshiba, for a fraction of the cost. end of line
- Q: When i want to connect two SATA hard drives do I need some power cable on slave or just to connect it with sata cable and that'it? Because I did it like that and it's not recognized. And I don't have second SATA power supply cable in my computer.
- Of course you will need power, how is it to run without it?
- Q: My Xbox 360's power supply cord is very loosely connected. I've tried to push it with force, didn't go further. Games lag a bit (GTA IV, for example) at graphically expensive situations. Simplier games like Limbo and Worms run without any problems. I think my console suffers from voltage drop because cable isn't properly connected.Power cord looked like this already when I connected my console for the first time. Now my Xbox 360 S is only couple of days old. Please tell me what your consoles look like. Power supply's light is also orange. Not yellow, not red - orange.
- It's not possible to drop voltage as you said. It's either connected, or it's not. The power won't wain. It just won't work at all if not properly inserted. But if the power cord won't seat properly in a brand new console, you're still under warranty. I'd get it replaced if I were you..
- Q: Only the ground cable is green, the two other cables are gray and I noticed that one is with stripes the other is not... The maker is Smart Choice. - there is more clue, one cable end is coded with a letter Z , other W , than G .... the G is probably the ground ( green ) . I need to know which one will connect to the black wire and which to the white one. Please help. Thank you
- stripe to white black to plain wire green to chassis. The white is neutral black is line bare wire is green
