Q: Can plastic tubes be bent or shaped?
Yes, plastic tubes can be bent or shaped to a certain extent, depending on the type and flexibility of the plastic used.
Q: i got water leakin on the driver floorboard and i figured it was the drain tube but i cant find it to save my life. anybody have an idea? any help is appreciated. thanks
OMG we spent a good 40 minutes trying to find the one on a Galant. Look under the dash on the driver's side towards the center up by the front firewall. Up and above to the right of the gas pedal. The left side of the big black plastic airbox is hopefully right there, if it's not covered up in trim panels, and there is the black plastic elbow tube coming from the box then bending forward through the firewall. Use that point of reference to go on the engine side and try to find it poking through the firewall. It only sticks out maybe 1/4 of an inch. Might be some metal hydraulics in the way. Probably a full arm length down, and that's with you draped over the car. It's a nightmare to get at, but it's doable once you find it and then find a way to snake your arm in from underneath. I used a long plastic tube taped to the blow tip of an air compressor and fed it in to the drain tube. Some people say stick a wire in , but I found the 90 degree bend in the tube on the inside made that worthless.
Q: Can plastic tubes be used for display signage?
Yes, plastic tubes can be used for display signage. Plastic tubes can be molded into various shapes and sizes, making them ideal for creating eye-catching signage. Additionally, using the appropriate type of plastic for the intended application and avoiding exposure to harsh chemicals can help prolong the lifespan of the tubes.
Q: What is the connection between the wires of the PVC?
According to PVC wire varieties are divided into hard tube, semi hard tube and bellows, according to the characteristics of the line is divided into light, medium, heavy, ultra heavy, according to the wire temperature classification is divided into 25, 05, 90/-25 and so on. The nominal outer diameter specifications of PVC wire tubes are: Phi 16, Phi 20, Phi 25, Phi 32, Phi 40, Phi 50, Phi 63, Phi 75, Phi 110. Among them, PVC pipe specifications for phi 16 and phi 20, generally used for indoor lighting line; PVC tube diameter is Phi 25 specifications, commonly used in the socket or indoor main pipe; PVC pipe diameter is Phi 32 commonly used in the specification into the family line pipe, also for weak line pipe PVC pipe diameter; Specification for phi 50, Phi 63, Phi 75 commonly used in electric disc to indoor line pipe.
Q: What's the size of the PVC pipe?
Semi hard flame retardant tube: also known as PVC flame retardant plastic pipe, PVC resin by adding plasticizers, stabilizers and flame retardants, etc., by extrusion and obtained for wire protection, the general color is yellow, red, self and so on. The pipe joint is made of a special joint and is coated with plastic adhesive. The pipe is bent freely without heating. It is supplied in bundles. Each bundle is 1000m. The above mentioned "PVC tubes" should be used in accordance with the specific material and construction methods. But the use of general residential use quota items rigid flame tube.

Q: Are plastic tubes suitable for chemical storage?
Plastic tubes can be suitable for chemical storage depending on the type of chemical being stored and the specific properties of the plastic material. It is essential to consider factors such as chemical compatibility, temperature resistance, and potential reactions between the chemical and the plastic. Additionally, proper labeling, sealing, and storage conditions should be followed to ensure safety and prevent any leakage or degradation of the plastic tubes.
Q: Are plastic tubes suitable for pharmaceutical dispensing?

They are commonly used in the pharmaceutical industry due to their versatility, durability, and ability to protect the integrity of medications. Plastic tubes can be easily sealed to ensure product safety, are resistant to chemical reactions, and provide convenient and precise dispensing of pharmaceutical products.
Q: We currently use round bottom glass test tubes on our automation but suffer a large dead volume. We are looking to find a supplier of low dead volume glass/plastic test tubes to trial
That's an unusual question. MANY years ago (50 or so) when we used to run a lot of pregnancy tests by utilizing Leopard Frogs, we used to use V-bottomed test tubes to spin down the sediment. Frankly, that's pretty much the only example I can remember where we used them. But I would think that they are still around. I would suggest you contact a laboratory supply house or two or three, and ask them. They are much more likely to be able to give you an answer than us geeks on the Yahoo medicine board. The stuff I used 50 years ago might not be around anymore.
