- Q: and implied powers of the government?thank you.
- The expressed powers of Congress are listed in the Constitution. Congress also has implied powers, to make any laws that are necessary and proper to carry out those expressed powers. 1789 The Constitution gives expressed powers to Congress in Article 1, Section 8. 1819 In McCulloch v. Maryland, the Supreme Court holds that the powers to tax, borrow, and regulate commerce give Congress the implied power to establish a national bank.
- Q: but i make like $600 per month at this stupid job i have.I could buy a house where i live but it would be one for like 750 square feet.I live with my parents and i'm 29.I am getting like and average of 3.2% interest on my money at the bank.Iknow this sounds liek a stupid question. But really, what should I do?
- $600 per month equals about $150 a week. If you are working 40 hours, you are making less than $4 an hour. Since this is much less than minimum wage, ask for a raise, get a better job, or a second job. If you don't qualify for a better job, go to your local community college and talk with a counselor about courses you can take to qualify for a job that suits you. Be glad you are living at home, because if you were my 29 year old son still trying for cheap rent, food, and laundry I would ask you to leave.
- Q: can my ma in law still able to sign cheques once she has made her son power of attony. there are cheques being paid to various people who we can not acount for, ma in law is 96 and finds it difficult to remember where the cheques have gone.
- Once he has the power of attorney he can have the bank require either his or BOTH his and hers on the checks. That way she can't sign alone. The simpler solution is to not leave any blank checks and instruct the bank not to issue new ones without his approval.
- Q: If three of four adult children suspect there has been some in-appropriate movement of financial assets between parent and the fourth child who has the power to get access to bank records?
- Unless the parent has signed a power of attorney over to one or more of the children, only the parent can give access. IF the parent is no longer mentally competent to be managing his/her own affairs, you can get a doctor (or two- it depends on your state law) to certify that, and then the court will appoint a guardian with power of attorney- that would usually be the person appointed as executor of the will if the parent has a will.
- Q: If you miss more than one payment of your mortgage, then banks issues a power of sale,What to do?
- You can pay or move. Thats about it.
- Q: I already have Wachovia but i'm thinking about switching to chase. I am a college student and i would like to know why you think what you think. Thank alot!
- I currently use Chase myself. From my experience, their customer service has treated me well. I wouldn't mind giving Wachovia a try, but they're not available in the places that I frequently visit. While I've heard nothing but good about Wachoiva, I'll still stick with Chasefor now
- Q: have somebody know how to make a power bank portable charger that usually use to charge our notebook battery or handphone?also with a high capacity. maybe someone can help me how to make a scheme of PCB, what's part that needed, and how to set it into PCB and get work.thanks *sorry, my english ability not good enough.

- Q: I live in houston, tx and my husband went to jail. I have a notarized durable power of attorney but the bank will not let me deposit his check in my bank because he doesn't sign on my account. He doesn't have a bank account. What can I do? He needs this money to post bail or get an attorney.
- Take your business elsewhere. You have a notarized power of attorney which should serve in lieu of his signature. If your bank won't honor it, switch to a bank that will.
- Q: Can bank pay a transaction eventhough you told them not to pay? And then give you a negative balance, and then charge you overdraft fee?
- You have to stop payment thru the bank which they charge you for (wachovia 25.00) I believe that only works with a check and not charge/debit unless you report your card stolen. But then you have to prove fraud! I had a store charge my card 400.00 when it should have been only 40.00. The store fixed their mistake however I still had some crazy fees to pay to the bank. They only credited my account one nsf fee! They told me I had to go to the store to have them pay all the fees!! This is why my husband wont go to a bank!!
