- Q: Are plastic tubes microwave-safe?
- No, plastic tubes are generally not considered microwave-safe as they can melt or release harmful chemicals when exposed to high temperatures in a microwave.
- Q: Can plastic tubes be used for packaging creams or lotions?
- Yes, plastic tubes can be used for packaging creams or lotions. They are a popular and practical choice for containing and dispensing various cosmetic products.
- Q: The water dispenser tube on the outside front has a hard yellow substance on the end of the tube. I don't know what it is or how to get the tube out to clean it.
- Sounds like sulphur. You must have sulphur in your water. Scrap it off and expect to have to do it again. Good luck I believe the GE models the tube is foamed in place not changable by itself. The entire door would have to be changed out. very expenssive. Try a small bottle type brush to clear it. Good luck
- Q: I use a length of plastic tubing and after using it for a while (few months) it changed from clear to opaque. It had been exposed to heat, alcohol and water, nothing else. If you know why it changed colors please fill me in. Also, I would like to know if it is changed chemically that might effect things traveling through it or if it is merely a cosmetic change and I can ignore it for the most part.
- If the plastic tubing was exposed to heat, then the resultant color change was most like due to a disruption in the chemical lattice of the plastic. A plastic is basically a polymer or group of polymers (polymer=same chemical compound repeated over and over again). When heat or another energy source is apllied, it has the ability to alter the polymer structure. Think of a polymer in similar terms as a crystal; all of the compounds in the plastic will align themselves in a similar way as the previous compound. When you do this with minerals, you end up with a clear or partially clear crystal. The same basic principal applies to polymers (plastics). Hope this helps!! P.S. some chemicals have the same ability to alter the plastic, same as an enrgy source..
- Q: Are plastic tubes safe for pharmaceutical products?
- Yes, plastic tubes are generally safe for pharmaceutical products. They are commonly used in the industry due to their durability, versatility, and resistance to chemical reactions. However, it is essential to ensure that the plastic used is of high quality and meets regulatory standards to ensure the safety and integrity of the pharmaceutical products.
- Q: PR plastic tubes, everyone said, permanent, a great harm to health, even drinking water is a problem?
- But the PPR plastic water pipe has been used for a period of time, and the inner wall of the pipe has been seriously polluted for two times. It is the growth of bacteria and Legionella. It has become a new human health killer and potential threat to life, and it is not suitable to make a household tap water pipe.
- Q: Where des this charge come from? Why don't we see a charge on the fur or wool?
- while something is rubbed with something else what comes into play is Frictional electrical energy . there is something called the paintings function it fairly is the minimum potential required via the electrons on the exterior to circulate away it . So if Fur and rubber are rubbed in accordance to the ques rubber rod will become negatively charged hence fur might desire to be dropping electrons hence , btw utilising molecules doesnt appear as if a stable theory to me so , in accordance to me C is the final answer .
- Q: Are plastic tubes suitable for underground applications?
- Yes, plastic tubes are suitable for underground applications. They are lightweight, corrosion-resistant, and have a high strength-to-weight ratio, making them ideal for underground piping systems. Additionally, plastic tubes are durable and can withstand various environmental conditions, including moisture, chemicals, and temperature fluctuations.
- Q: How are plastic tubes cut to specific lengths?
- Plastic tubes are typically cut to specific lengths using various cutting methods such as sawing, mechanical cutting, or laser cutting. The chosen method depends on the type of plastic, the required precision, and the production scale.
