Q: Hi, I bought a devco fireworks cake, never shot one before. It comes packages with a think plastic covering the whole thing, however the fuse can be accessed by lifting a little tab.Obviously seems easy enough, but I'm wondering about the transparent plastic covering on top... seems that will stop the rockets from firing up no?
You can remove it or leave it, it's up to you. It will not effect the performance of the cake however the fireworks will tear it into little plastic pieces that will be all over the place. I like to remove the plastic/paper on the tops of fireworks cakes to reduce the amount of mess during cleanup.
Q: Parisals are found in hoganakkal T.Nadu.in Kavery river.
not really pls check the link below to see how why
Q: Are plastic sheets resistant to moisture absorption?
Yes, plastic sheets are generally resistant to moisture absorption.
Q: Can plastic sheets be used for mold-making in manufacturing?
Yes, plastic sheets can be used for mold-making in manufacturing. They are commonly used for creating molds in various manufacturing processes, such as vacuum forming or thermoforming, where a heated plastic sheet is shaped around a mold to create a desired product. Additionally, plastic sheets can also be used to create prototype molds for casting or casting resin applications.
Q: I was wondering if there was any type of Vinyl or Plastic sheeting that you can adhere together by Melting it? to make a box or something?
For diy you can use chloroform, it is used to stick plastic together by dissolving the contacted areas. Most sign makers and art/craft makers are using it. Hot mouldings are usually used by the manufacturing industry.
Q: Iam doing a project with painters sheeting plastic which needs to be bond together without unlocking.I do not know which quick drying glue to use.Can anyone tell me which glue is the right glue for my project? (preferably quick drying glue ) Thanks, and HAPPY HOLIDAY.....HO,HO,HO,HO,HO.
Contact cement in a spray bomb. 3M at any Hardware store. Just spray each piece wait 30 seconds and stick together.
Q: In the past, I would print on 8.5 x 11 clear plastic sheets (about as thick or a little thicker than paper) using a LasorJet printer and had good results. Except when it was too thin and the heat tended to kind of curl or warp it. Will inkjet printers print on the same material? Or does it have to have some coating?

Q: I just bought a pickup truck, and it has this large 4'x8' plastic sheet in the back. Its about an inch thick, and weighs a LOT. It has nothing to do with a bed liner or anything. It seems to be extremely durable, from being in the back of a work truck for over 10 years its just got some scratches. Does anyone know what it could be used for? I want to try and sell it, but I have absolutely no idea what its purpose is, so I dont know how to even list it! One of my friends suggested it may be used for flooring or something, but i have no idea. I could see it being cut up and used for bench tops or something of that sort, but again, no clue. Any ideas?
It probably was used as a bed liner, the rest of us just use a sheet of plywood and this guy had access to the plastic sheeting, so used that instead
Q: Is the resin scraping board made of plastic?
Resin is the main raw materials for the manufacture of plastics, paint is also used the system (the main film-forming material, coating such as alkyd resin, acrylic resin, synthetic fatty acid resin, the resin in the Yangtze River Delta and Pearl River Delta are also relatively strong in the paint industry, such as Changxin chemical, Nuplex resin, three resin, Ying DSM syntech resins), adhesives, insulating material, synthetic resin in industrial production, is widely used in separation and purification of impurities in liquid, with macroporous adsorption resin, ion exchange resin, and some special resin.
Q: Put drops of water on glass or plastic sheet. After evaporation we see white soft dust there. What's that?
Minerals that had been suspended in the water. I'm not sure of the exact complex, but there is a heck of a lot of stuff in city water, and stuff in well water too. City water has treatment chemicals in addition to the minerals present where well water is often softened, which adds some sodium chloride (salt). Our city (and our water company, our city runs it's own water treatment) mails us a water report once a year that details the exact levels of minerals and chemicals in the water. I would implore you to write to your water company and ask them if they publish a report, and if not, suggest that they do.
