FAQ:

Q1: Why buy Materials & Equipment from OKorder.com?

A1: All products offered by OKorder.com are carefully selected from China's most reliable manufacturing enterprises. Through its ISO certifications, OKorder.com adheres to the highest standards and a commitment to supply chain safety and customer satisfaction.

Q2: How do we guarantee the quality of our products?

A2: We have established an advanced quality management system which conducts strict quality tests at every step, from raw materials to the final product. At the same time, we provide extensive follow-up service assurances as required.

Q3: What is rattan?

A3: Rattan is a member of the palm family and grows primarily in Southeast Asia. It is an anomaly to a tree. Where a tree grows from small to large and has growth rings, rattan has growth nodules for each season. It can grow up to 300 feet in height before it is harvested and sent to factories that produce the furniture. It is an extremely durable wood that can be easily bent to make the very unique styles that makes rattan furniture so special.

Q4: What is wicker?

A4: Wicker is best described as anything that is woven. Natural wicker can be made from rattan or any wood type products that are small and easily woven. These are usually woven on rattan frame. Synthetic wicker made from resins and woven on aluminum frames is also available allowing this wicker to be used totally outdoors.

Q5: How long will it last?

A5: Rattan or natural wicker furniture can last for years. If used indoors, it is not unusual for it to last 20 - 30 years. Cushions last from 5 - 15 years depending on usage and exposure and can be easily replaced, by House of Rattan, at a fraction of the cost of buying new furniture. Synthetic wicker also will last for many years and its cushions can also be replaced.

Q6: How do you clean wicker furniture?

A6: Vacuum brushes tend to work well between the wicker's reed material. A warm wet rag with a bit of detergent can be used to get stains out, though test it in an inconspicuous spot first, as you may remove finish or paint.

Q:I got a nice light peach sofa that has some tears by cats and smudges since the prev owners never cared for them but I wonder if I should get them re-painted to start treating them as they should or should I just save my money and buy new ones?
It depends on the quality of the sofa, and the cost of the repair or recovery job. Go price new stuff of the same quality, and then ask a reupholsterer what it would cost to repair it.
Q:I am tired of all the dust and lint, on my old cloth sofa, and was thinking of getting leather, but my small dogs might scratch it. Does anybody have a micro fiber sofa, and does the dust, and lint stick to it? And how is it keeping it clean? Any website I can see some review on micro fiber?I vacuum my old couch, and than when the sun shines in, I can slap it, and see a dust cloud! I hate that!
I have a microfiber sofa a microfiber sectional, both from Ashley. I have several pieces in my home from Ashley. Their stuff isn’t well made so it won’t last for decades, but it’s cheap enough I can replace my stuff every few years. The sofa is about four years old, and our stain guard is still holding up fine (or so says that glass of red wine I dropped on it a few months ago…). It could stand to be steam cleaned, but my only complaint about the couch is that the cushion filling didn’t hold up well. The fabric is fine. The sectional is only a couple of months old, but no complaints so far. I have two cats and their hair definitely sticks to this fabric. I have found that rubber cleaning gloves are great for removing hair. Rub your gloved hands along the fabric and the hair will separate from the fabric.
Q:Please help me, I don't quite understand how to do this.
Well you haven't finished the question but I guess that the answer that you want is 700 + 225S = TC (S stands for the number of sofas made, and TC stands for total cost) Total cost normally consists of a fixed cost (overheads) + a variable cost per sofa (materials labour etc that vary with the number that are made) That being the case then $3850 = FC + 14VC $2725 = FC + 9VC Use the elimination method of solving simultaneous equations (3850 - 2725) = (FC - FC) + (14VC - 9VC) $1125 = 5VC Divide both sides by 5 $225 = VC As $2725 = FC + 9VC $2725 = FC + 9*225 $2725 = FC + $2025 $700 = FC Therefore we know that the fixed cost = $700 and the Variable Cost = $225 Therefore the equation that I reckon that you require is Total Cost = $700 + $225S (where S stands for the number of sofas made)
Q:I know this is a random question, but we just moved across the state, and our pull out sofa bed was like torture to move. I am bruised up and down my arms and have been sore for days. (I can't afford pros to move..)I'm thinking of selling this behemoth and getting an Ektorp IKEA sofa - are they pretty light?? My goal is to only own things that my husband and I can move on our own....
Ikea couches are light and last years, and they sell covers you can wash.
Q:Hi everyone. I've been in Korea on E2 Visa since 4/2009 and just recently tried to obtain a job, but obviously denied due to the SOFA ordinary resident rule.Stupid rule if you ask me because I am still an American citizen and pay my State Federal taxes each and every year since I have been here. Here are my questions: I have read some answers about leaving Korea every 90 days and go to USA. I have a couple of questions: 1. Is a weekend trip sufficient to Guam?2. Does it matter is I am in Korea on an E2 visa and not a tourist visa? Any additional information or advice is greatly appreciated.Thank you!!!!
I don't know that leaving the country and coming back would make a difference. Even fully qualified military dependents have a hard time getting civilian jobs on post here. A large number of the jobs go to Koreans. Even without that, the definition I've found for an 'ordinary resident' is as follows: Ordinary Resident of U.S. A person who normally lives in the U.S. To meet this definition, an individual must normally maintain a residence in the U.S., receive their mail there, and have their household goods at their U.S. residence, etc. (Note: “Ordinarily resident” is not identical to “legal residence” even though a person may be “ordinarily resident” at his place of “legal residence”. The term “ordinarily resident” refers to the place where a person is actually living in other than a transient or temporary capacity at the time of hire. Where one is “ordinarily resident” is a question of fact and law. Normally it is straightforward and can be determined by looking at where one is physically domiciled at the time of hiring.) Since you obviously live in Korea, it is unlikely that they would give you a job, if you left the country and came back. You would likely have to move back to the States entirely, then reapply and only return once you were given the job.
Q:How many Naugas do you have to Kill to make a Naugahyde Sofa?
Not neccesary . Naughas shed regularly. You just have to be there at the right time.
Q:I am interested in the old days of cleaning before vacuums and all that or people that lived in mountains that didn't have that sort of thing. How did they clean the sofa if they couldn't remove it and it was all one piece like today we have vacuums 2 do that
Depending the date of the old days, remember at one time, sofas were made of horse hair and had hay in the middle. People did not use the parlor living room because that was for Sunday or when special people visited. These were likely never cleaned, maybe dusted. It hasn't been that long that we have had sofas and living rooms. Nancy
Q:The cane tables and chairs are on the balcony, shall we? Do a good balcony furniture brand?
Rattan like leisure furniture, with fresh, good care advantages! Imitation rattan sofa, the most outdoor furniture is appropriate. Babylon, Yadi, MBM, Ai Rui, agio of the balcony furniture is very good.
Q:I want to buy a leather sleeper sofa, but I heard the seats slip off the sofa easily. Is this true?
Are you wondering about the cushions staying in place? They do make ones with velcro attached or snaps to hold them in.
Q:Indoor swimming pool, deck chair furniture, which material is good? Waterproof and durable
The indoor swimming pool lounge chair wood, plastic furniture, rattan, aluminum and other materials, tessforest. Plastic quality light and cheap, the service life is not very long, not environmental protection; wet wood is easy to crack deformation;
