Q:1) what does it involve?2) do you have to pay?3)do you keep your tariff?4) can you pick any phone or is there a selection to chose from?5) can you upgrade to a different network? On t-mobile uk thanks
1) Upgrading to a different phone 2) Well you change contract do depends if you have to buy the phone 3) you get a new one I think but keep your number 4) Well when you upgrade you have to get a phone that is more expensive that your current phone 5) no you have to upgrade through your network, if you're with t-mobile I think you can upgrade to EE, but if you want to go to like 3 or something you'll have to wait until your contract ends and cancel it, and get a new one with 3 for example.
Q:How to reduce mobile phone radiation?
When the phone is connected, the amount of radiation will reach three times the normal call. First, shorten the talk time.
Q:I'm doing this project in school about mobile phones, and I was wondering how mobile phones or special made mobile phones for diabled people help disabled people
I can only speak for myself, but I use cell phones a lot. I am deaf. I do not talk on the phone at all, but I text all of the time. Texting, along with e-mail and IM-ing, are the only real ways that I can keep in touch with people. There are some cell phones, like mine, that are designed with a special feature that makes them compatible with many types of hearing aids. You don't have to look too far to find a new cell phone with this feature; my phone is a Samsung Tracfone, and it is HAC. (Hearing Aid Compatible) There are other phones that are specially designed for people with other disabilities. Like, for example, there are phones that are voice activated, or they have bigger buttons and displays. These features can be especially helpful for people with disabilities.
Q:I have just received an upgrade from T-Mobile. Whilst I like the phone I want to unlock it so I can put a cheaper SIM in for my trips to Jersey. Only one network on Jersey (UK).The phone is a Samsung U800 which seems to prove hard to unlock??An internet service could not help and Tmobile says it takes 28 days.Does anyone know of a high street shop that could unlock and not charge that much?Cheers
Dont go to the High streets, you are better off going to the small independant shops. they have the software to get it sorted for you and the longest they will take is 24 hours at a cost of 5 - 10 quid
Q:Mobile phone lost how to set up call transfer?
Or you can also visit the online business hall for call transfer.
Q:i want mobile phone tracking software
Visit okorder
Q:I just got a Boost Mobile phone. Just wanted to know.
Best is a subjective measurement. For me, my Trac Phone is the best because it does exactly what I want and nothing more. No cameras, no MP3 players, no internet, no nonsense. The battery lasts about 7-10 days between charges. I have never been anywhere (and I travel all up and down the west coast and up into the mountians) where it would not get signal but other phones would -- just the opposite in fact, mine is usually the only one that WILL get signal out of the major metro areas. The phone itself costs about $18 and if I loose it or break it, there is no charge to transfer my minutes to a new one (just $18 for a new phone, less than most others). The minutes are a lot more expensive though, unless you buy the service contract sort of thing. But I like being able to just quit using the thing if I don't need it and no further expenses.
Q:Forgive me for maybe being a little stupid but i assume that a sim free unlocked mobile phone is just a plain old handset that will accept any sim card?I currently have a phone with Tesco mobile on a PAYG tariff - i assume that if i bought a sim free unlocked phone, i could take my sim card from my current phone and put it into the new one and it would work just fine? ie. i'd keep my current number and i'd stay on my PAYG tariff?
Hi Dude if you get an unlocked phone put your current sim card in it then YES it will work fine the only thing your need to do is contact tesco customer services to get the settings for mms the internet sent to your phone so that you can still send recieve picture messages (providing it is a camera phone?) yes you will keep your same no. it will still be on the same payg tariff ! as all your account details no. etc are all programmed into the sim card ! no your not being stupid for asking the question if your unsure yes a sim free unlocked phone is just a normal phone that will accept any sim card hope this helps
Q:how do mobile phones interfere with flight systems on an aircraft? why can you only use electronic devices while the plane is cruising? And how come you can use the in-built phones on planes?
how do mobile phones interfere with flight systems on an aircraft? In reality, most probably don't. In some very rare instances, there have been some interference reported, and mostly that was long ago. I'd bet that hundreds of flights operate each and every day with cell phones inadvertently or intentionally left on in passengers pockets. The problem is what I referred to as a rare instance isn't so rare if you or a loved one is on the airplane. why can you only use electronic devices while the plane is cruising? When close to the ground (takeoff and landing) any error, no matter how small, has the potential to turn into a disaster. Since there has been an occasional problem with interference, it is just easier to ban all electronics when close to the ground because there are literally tens of thousands of these things, and an airline can't test them all. Also, even if tested, who's to say that it is still in proper working order or hasn't been modified in some way. They can be used in cruise because of good old American competition. Some airlines early on had an outright ban, and others didn't. Due to the competitive nature of the business, the airlines that banned these devices, had to fall into line. And how come you can use the in-built phones on planes? These have been tested nine ways to Sunday to guarantee no interference, and very importantly, they are maintained in accordance with a strict set of requirements.
Q:I just got a new mobile phone contract today and its my first one :)i got it of t-mobile and i was wondering if anyone knows how long it is until you can start using your texts and minutes of your contract?? like can you start using them straight away or do you have to wait a few days? cos i checked my balance on my phone and it said zero, but i'm not sure if that's just because it is the middle of the monthcan anybody tell me :D ha ha x
you should be able to use your texts and minutes immediately after getting your phone.
