Q:This is a self built computer. When using it in a different room, it functioned normally. However, now that I've moved it to a new room, it would constantly reboot or just loses power entirely. With the latter, I would have to remove the power cable and hold the on button for a while before I could turn it back on. Also, when I shut it down, the computer would reboot by itself instead.
Most of times the issue should be occurring because some problem related to power. Do easier things first. 1. Use another power cable. 2. Get an extension form different wall plug and power your PC through it. 3. Bring the PC into previous room and try. When using it in a different room, it functioned normally. However, now that I've moved it to a new room, it would constantly reboot or just loses power entirely According to your above saying, I can guess something like this also, If the computer had faced to some shock while you're changing rooms, sometimes, these is a chance to occur these kind of problems because a shock can produce a loose connection. Remove the causing and check all the connections inside CPU such as Power, RAMS, Processor....... and all it's possible.
Q:I've got everything connected to my motherboard, but cant start up my computer until i get these small cables connected to my motherboard. I just want to start up my computer. I've got the cpu in, the cpu fan, ram, speaker, hard drive, floppy etc.. How do i fit the cables in the question above, in the right order so my computer will start. I believe they go into the USB and PANEL on my motherboard.thank you
Not enough info. But from what you wrote, the only one you need to connect to get the mainboard started is the Power SW. All others are indicator or I/O. The Power Switch cable is not polarized but the LEDs are. LEDs need the +/- in the right direction. Be very careful on the USB connections or you could burn up a USB device. They are critical. You should have a manual if the mainboard is new. If it's used, look around on the surface of the board for a manufacture and model number. Then type it into google and see if you can find an on-line manual.
Q:I recently bought a Logitech Rechargeable Speaker S315i, but i lost the power supply at a party. I was wondering if anyone know of a website where i could just order another cable (that fits and work) for the rechargeable speakers. 100-240v Power supply. Or do i have to buy a new speaker?
There is no direct benefit for the operation of the speakers by upgrading to a 750 watt power supply. The amplificatiion power is external. Only a small relatively small power signal is delivered by the computer
Q:I need a cable to connect my SATA hard drive to my computer's motherboard (which already has the SATA ports). Is this the correct cable:
Yes that is the correct cable that plugs into the motherboard SATA ports. Regarding the power cable. Some SATA drives have both the old style 4-pin power connector (like on the IDE drives) as well as the newer SATA power cable. If it has both, DO NOT plug both in at the same time or it can damage your PC. You can use one or the other but not both.
Q:turun these sentences from active to passive remember- only by plus a noun or pronoun if this information is necessary .
2. All the power cables were brought down by a storm. 3. What is he had invited her before last weekend?
Q:My laptop cable sometimes won't stay in all the time. When it is connected, it has a blue circle around it, but sometimes that blue circle goes off (while it is plugged into the side of laptop) and the tool bar changes from showing a plug to showing a battery. Would there be something wrong with the cable line and it needs to be replaced?
the power plug is damaged and will have to be replaced the cost about 90 to 125 dollars. look at it and make sure if it is the plug or the socket
Q:ok so i opend up my machine, and i bassicly took apart the processor and removed the dail up pci card thingy, then i put it all back together and i also took off the case, which meant removing all case power leads, quot;power SWand power led etc. but i put them all in the same place i took them out, well i think i did, theres so many different slots it they could go into, it would take at least 500 attempts to find the right slots for all, not to mention the fact i might blow the board. so has anyone got the manual for this motherboard. or no where to find an online one. cus i need to know where to plug them in. thanks
hi bradley we have all been there before.... rebuilt a pc and forgot which connectors go where on the motherboard.... however if you go to your motherboard manufactuers website you should be able to download the motherboard manual which will have a detailed diagram showing you were each connector goes however in theory you can get away with just plugging in the power connector ( power sw ) ....and it wont do any harm trying each combination... however i would recommend trying the top row of pins... and make sure you insert the connector horizontally as you look at it for example check this image of the power sw connector properly connected ( img204.imageshack.us/img204/8682/... ) .....as you can see the power sw is using pins 3 and 4 on the back row of pins.... so give that a try firstas i stated you wont blow the board..... ive seen people use screwdrivers to start their motherboards .. and this is done by shorting two pins.... so theres no way you are going to blow your motherboard..... however i would try to locate your motherboard manual first.... and failing that try my method.... and a good idea is to draw a diagram of your motherboard pins ... then as soon as you have tried a combination mark it off.... at least this way you are not going to try the same combination twice i hope this has helped, any problems let me know good luck bradley !
Q:a. the potential difference between the forward and rear feet when the bear crawlsb. the potential difference between the bear and the cablec. the coulomb force between the bear who obtains charges when passing by the cable and the cabled. none of them
e. the bear touched the stupid wire
Q:Will this cable work with an iPhone 4s? On the website they only mention iPods, but I want to see if anyone has any experiences with this. It's a make-or-break deal for me. thanks
no offence but its a rip. go to walmart and buy an AUX cable they are 8 bucks and they will fit ipods phones and all that good stuff.
Q:Cannot find a path to send the power cable for the amplifier through
The firewall is the bulkhead between the Passenger compartment and the engine bay. Look for a rubber grommet in the firewall/bulkhead that has existing wires going through it and use this. Some firewalls have grommets that you can use to pass your power cable through from the battery. Remember to put an in line fuse on th live cable of the correct rating.
