Q: I randomly got a free T Mobile Phone without any service attached to it yet. Unfortunately, all my friends have said that T Mobile provides absolutely no coverage where I live. Can I use Verizon, or even another service such as ATT on it?
Yes if the phone is unlocked but you cannot use a ATT sim as it is a GSM network and tmobile and Verizon are CDMA! Hope it helps! Like please
Q: I have a metro pcs phone but like virgin mobile service better
No, it cannot. Even if you completely flash and reprogram it to Virgin Mobile, Virgin Mobile will not allow you to activate it. I have tried using non-Virgin Mobile phones on Virgin Mobile, and they always tell me that they simply cannot activate an ESN that their system does not recognize as a Virgin Mobile phone. There are ways to change your ESN to that of a Virgin Mobile phone, but they are illegal. Don't do it. Just buy a Virgin Mobile phone, they're not very expensive. Maybe you can post on craigslist that you need a Virgin Mobile phone and someone will trade you phones. Sorry for the bad news!
Q: I want a phone that has fast internet browsingAnd AIM. preferably a nice cameraWhat is the best phone T-Mobile has right now?
the only tmobile phone I've owned is the sidekick. But it's the best tmobile phone I've used :)
Q: I have a girl that I like in the Ukriane, but every time I call her from my home phone line to her mobile phone! She can barely hear me, I experianced this same problem with another person but then we tried having me make a phone call from my home in Ohio, to their home int he Ukriane and I heard them pretty well! with no problems! What's going on with this, is this on my end or their end on why they can hardly hear me! It seems to always happen when I call European mobile phones in particular, or do you think it is my phone at home! Bu that wouldn;t make sense on why I can hear them fien when I call from my house to their house! Can anyone help, comments would greatly be appreicated?
It is a bit complicated, but to summarize: When you call from your home to her home, your long distance carrier routes the call over the international trunk lines, through the telco in Ukraine, and directly to her home phone. When you call to her mobile phone, the call takes the same route, but the telco in Ukraine routes the call to her mobile carriers central call center, and then the call has to be searched in Ukraine to find her phone and the call is carried over their cellular network which may involve routing it through several different carriers (cellular) and connections (landline telcos), depending on where she is and what company her mobile service is with. Interconnects between carriers in Ukraine are very poor (they route competitors calls through the worst lines, to obtain more direct customers). Depending on who your phone company uses to carry international calls to Europe, the quality of the call might be better or worse. A call through a calling card is usually as you experience. Redialing may make her hear you, but you do not hear her. In my experience, direct dialed calls through Vonage are usually good in both directions at a reasonable price (16 cents a minute). QWest direct dialed call to a mobile in Ukraine is usually very good (but very expensive - 26 cents a minute). A good calling card (about 50% chance of a good connection) is the Continental card from phonecards.waytorussia (at 11 cents a minute) - and it allows her to call you for the same price via sms callback (and the connection that way is very good).
Q: I have a Samsung t209 Red, and it is being a pain. Even when my phone has full bars, it says I have no service. I've tried to get support on the T-Mobile site, but since I can't recieve anything on my phone, it is useless. I just put minutes on my phone yesterday, after having had it turned off for a couple of months, could that have anything to do with it?
t-mobile indeed does not suck is probably your phone i work at t-mobile. I would try to help you but i work in a t-mobile store in london. i don't know why people always complain that t-mobile sucks indeed is one of the top cellphone companies over here in london. it probably sucks over there in the us cause over here it doesn't. Anyways try to go to the t-mobile store were u live they probably will help u.
Q: I am a business person. I need to buy a mobile phone which has DUAL SIM. and I need Minimum of 2000 Contacts to be Stored, and Call logs to be saved at least for 15 days. Please Help me to find one.
M9 smart phone using the Google smart phone operating system android2.2, to achieve a truly mobile smart. You can read e-mail via mobile terminals , can also directly reply, forward and compose e-mail. Built-in high sensitivity GPS receiver chip and the gravity sensing system, pre-installed the latest version of all the regions throughout the detailed Google map + national road network, along gas stations, hotels, restaurants, shopping, entertainment and other kinds of information on everything.
Q: If you have a t-mobile phone you know that your phone sometimes says other services than t-mobile under the service indicator. Because when your t-mobile service is down the netowrk works off of the other towers. Anyway, my t-mobile service is always two bars or less in my home area. I use to be able to work off of cellularone and att but now it says SOS. How do I make it not say SOS so I can work off of the stronger tower in my area? If I won't be able to make it stop, how can I boost my t-mobile service? Don't say get another phone cause I can't. I'm under two year contract. Thanks.
my son has ATT Go Phone and pays $20 for unlimited messages the phones to choose from are much better than Virgin.
Q: I'm currently with Verizon right now and I have a Blackberry. I have a really cute Samsung phone too that I used when I was with T-mobile. If my blackberry ever dies or something like that, can I use the samsung phone?
nope, because Verizon Phones dont have sim cards, and T mobile phones requires a Sim card to function the only other carrier you would be able to use that t mobile phone(if its unlocked) with would be ATT. and any other one that carries a Sim card(not sure if sprint has it)
Q: I have a phone with 3.2 MP and other one with 5MP camera. but output of both are same . is there anything else to consider with buying mobile phone of good quality
No! The snap shots will absolutely be of terrible quaility. The current very good cameras on telephones are 5 megapixel, despite the fact that that you may get many unique ones in between. 2 megapixel is perfect however at the least 3 megapixel for excellent quility can be first-rate!
Q: I bought this cool mobile phone and i want to set it up for gprs im using mtn and vodacom i calld mtn and they say i must set it manually by the technicians. any one who know how to set it manualy please help i want to browse the internet. im in south africa
first u have to tell about the model or company of the phone but if not then follow these easy steps may be this work Select a Frequency Band to Activate GPRS Step 1Access the phone's settings from the phone's main menu. Note: In countries outside of the United States or North America, you typically need to use the 900 MHz/1800 MHz frequency to get a GPRS signal from one of the mobile providers in another country. Step 2Click the Network option from the menu that appears. Step 3Select Band to begin the band selection. Step 4Click on the band option that you want to activate a GPRS connection, such as 850/1900, 900/1800 or automatic if you are uncertain of the GPRS band. Step 5Turn the device off and then back on if it does not automatically select the band and you have selected the automatic option. Create a Network Connection to Activate GPRS Step 1Access the main menu on the phone to get to the settings menu. Step 2Click Network, and then Network Setup (which usually appears as an option but depends on your model of phone). Step 3Select Manual or Automatic. Note: You want to set your phone's option to Automatic so you can establish a GPRS connection with your mobile provider. However, select Manual if you want to choose a different network. Step 4Make sure that your phone connects and you can begin to make calls. Reset the Phone to Activate GPRS Step 1Pull the battery out of your phone while it is turned on. Note: It is necessary to reset your phone at times if there are network glitches or coverage issues. This will re-establish your connect with a mobile provider's network. Step 2Wait approximately 30 seconds, then re-insert the battery. Step 3Press and hold the red Power button on your phone to turn it on. Step 4Make sure that your phone displays the GPRS icon in the status bar to verify you are reconnected with your network.
