2.Description

Aluminium foil (or aluminum foil) is aluminium prepared in thin metal leaves with a thickness less than 0.2 millimetres (8 mils); thinner gauges down to 6 micrometres (0.24 mils) are also commonly used.In the United States, foils are commonly gauged in thousandths of an inch or mils. Standard household foil is typically 0.016 mm (0.63 mils) thick, and heavy duty household foil is typically 0.024 mm (0.94 mils). Thefoil is pliable, and can be readily bent or wrapped around objects. Thin foils are fragile and are sometimeslaminated to other materials such as plastics or paper to make them more useful. Aluminium foil supplantedtin foil in the mid 20th century.

Aluminium (or aluminum; see spelling differences) is a chemical element in the boron group with symbol Al and atomic number 13. It is a silvery white, soft, nonmagnetic, ductile metal. Aluminium is the third most abundant element (after oxygen and silicon), and the most abundant metal in the Earth's crust. It makes up about 8% by weight of the Earth's solid surface.

5.FAQ

1)what is aluminum?

Aluminium (or aluminum; see spelling differences) is a chemical element in the boron group with symbol Al and atomic number 13. It is a silvery white, soft, nonmagnetic, ductile metal. Aluminium is the third most abundant element (after oxygen and silicon), and the most abundant metal in the Earth's crust. It makes up about 8% by weight of the Earth's solid surface.

Aluminium metal is so chemically reactive that native specimens are rare and limited to extreme reducing environments. Instead, it is found combined in over 270 different minerals. The chief ore of aluminium is bauxite.

2)What's kind of payment term we can supply?

CIF,CFR, FOB and other.

Q:An aluminum wire having a cross-sectional area of 3.00 x 10-6 m^2 carries a current of 3.00 AFind the drift speed of the electrons in the wireThe density of aluminum is 2.70 g/cm^3Assume each aluminum atom supplies one conduction electron_ mm/s
For this, use the formula I nqvA, and rearrange that to solve for the drift speedFirst, we must calculate n, the charge carrier densityThe molar mass of aluminum is 27.0 gV m / ρ 27.0 g / (2.70 g / cm^3) 10.0 cm^3 Now use the ratio of Avogadro's Number and the volume to find nn (6.02 x 10^23 electrons) / (10.0 x 10^-6 m^3) 6.02 x 10^28 electrons / m^3 Now we may find the drift speedv I / nqA 3.00 A / ((6.02 x 10^28 electrons/m^3) x (1.60 x 10^-19 C) x (3.00 x 10^-6 m?) 1.04 x 10^-4 m/s 1.04 x 10^-7 mm/s
Q:how do you bake a canonigo in a baine marie without the water going inside the pan?please answer ASAP thanks!?
I have always cleaned my silver in the kitchen sinkFill the sink with very hot water, and place a piece of aluminum foil the size of the sink in itAdd 2T baking soda and 2T salt to the mixtureMix it with a big spoon if it's too hot to do it with your handPut one silver piece at a time in the sink and let it soak for five minutesDry it immediately with a soft towelIf you still see spots, rub them with a paste of baking soda and water, rinse and dry againThen do the next pieceTry to keep the tea set wrapped when you are not using or displaying it so you don't have to clean it frequently.
Q:Just bought my FIRST stove, I've been told by MANY to cover the burner plates (Not sure what it is called really sorryBut the part under the burners on a stove, if that helped any lol) with foil paperAs others have said to NOT cover them as it can mess with the cooking time and the burners alsoSo do you cover them, or do you not? Thank u all who take time out of their lives to replies to thisAloha.
What you are asking about are drip pansAnd no, do not cover them if it is an electric stoveDoing so will cause your burner to short out over timeIf you look in your owners manual, I'm sure it will tell you specifically not to do itYou also shouldn't put any aluminum foil under the the element in the oven for the same reasonThe cost to replace them are fairly cheap with the 6 about $1.50 and the 8 is about $2.50You can also get them now in black if you wish.
Q:a potassium atom:an aluminum ion:a bromine atom:a selenium atom
Potassium loses electrons [it's a metal] Aluminum loses electrons too [it's also a metal] Bromine gains electrons [it's not a metal] Selenium gains electrons [it's a non-metal too]Selenium 2,8,18, 6 [therefore it gains 4] and becomes negative Potassium 2,8,8, 1 [loses one] so therefore becomes positive Aluminum 2,8,3 [gives away three] so it becomes positive Bromine 2,8, 18, 7 [gains three] so it becomes negative Non-metals become negative when they form ions and metals become positive when they form ions.
Q:Aluminum foil burns on an alcohol lamp flame but melts, but does not drip. Why?
The aluminum foil is heated and melted on the flame of the alcohol lamp, but does not drop. The reason is that the oxygen reacted with oxygen in the air.
Q:Any ideas why? I'm usually making sweet potato friesThanks!
Sweet potato fries don't get crispy, even in oilA crispyy sweet potato fry is an over cooked bitter oneThe only crispy sweet potato fries I have seen are ones that have been light breaded or dredged.
Q:I need to make a fairly accurate construction of a monkey and i dont want to use plasticine or play-dohWhat are some different options and materials?
Scrunch up aluminium foil into various shapes and assemble to form a basic monkey shape - that will be the the core Next apply paper mache to form the actual surface that will make up your monkey

Q:cuz my oven doesn't work i wanted to try that so i got a piece of foil and wrapped the corn dogg with the foil then i heated up the pan thingy were you would heat up tortillas and like can you get like cancer of the foil like would it be dangerous to eat the corn dogg ???
thats a tough one.the elantra supposedly gets beastly gas mileage and it pretty decent inside and out, but the fusion is really nice, and got car of the yearI didn't get to see/drive a fusion but from pictures i think it trumps the elantracheck both out and take them for a drivei'd lean towards the fusion, if i was in that market.
