- You know I used to wonder about that too with different sleds/leg press equipment that I've used (and I'm familiar with the Cybex machine your referring to) and the more I tried to find out the more I got annoyed with the staff that just never knew.Anymore I just don't worrie about it and I just count the weight I've put on the equipment.Honestly unless it's like a compition it really doesn't matter.

I'm not always at home so I love the idea of bringing this notebook with me when I go to school or take walks.But, I'm wondering if I can use this notebook to do the actual pressing. I'd prefer to keep all the flowers in the notebook because that was the point of getting it. Does anyone have any advice for someone who wants to press flowers while on the go ? And is tissue paper a good substitute to newspaper/paper-towels ? I feel like tissue paper would look a lot more nicer.

- Hey, I guess it due to heavy weight or when you were exercising you didn't warm up at the beginning. This pain might be due to a sprain in your thigh muscles because originally a leg press exercise focuses and puts most of the weight pressure on your thigh muscles. I advise you to skip using it for a day and make sure you run on a treadmill min. 5 minutes before starting other exercises. (And If you wanna do the leg press, just decrease the weight and exercise slowly, don't go to fast.)

- You need to go through with the charges. It is through the grace of God that you are still here as your girlfriend's ex could have killed both of you. Tell the cops that you are being pressured into not going through with the charges. The police will set your girlfriend and his mom straight. By the way, the only effective help this jerk will get is if he is imprisoned and has to face the consequences of his behavior. If he is allowed to get away with it once again, he is apt to kill someone. As for how long he will get...that depends on his previous record (if any) and any mitigating circumstances. I wouldn't worry about it though. You are lucky to be alive and this guy's behavior is criminal. Jail is where he belongs. Good luck and God bless.

- When you say press, i assume that you mean a press to handstand. Try it with a spot first, and then get the spot to be lighter and lighter. Or you can try doing them against the wall. Or try starting with your feet higher, like on a low beam or something. They will defiantly help with cast to handstands, because they use pretty much the same muscles and action. Good luck

I am an athlete, I do MMA and I am a competitive black belt in Tae Kwon Do. How much should I ideally be pressing?
- Not considering your injury as a fighter you shouldn't be trying to go too high and get muscle bound legs. If you can press 700 you might have a tree-trunk of a leg and it will be rooted to the floor like one. You want fast twitch in the smaller muscles to be able to have control over your legs for both kicking and supporting yourself. I don't think leg press is the best option either. It isolates the quads for aesthetic purposes. You'll look nice but you won't have the full cascade of muscles to have a great kick and you can end up imbalanced real quick too. You want to find more integrative movements that let you use you whole body or at least your whole leg cascade. As for the surgery, I can't speak much about it but I'd say listen to your doctor. If he says balls to the wall, go for it. But if he says you need to work in slowly or never go over a certain weight, listen to him. You might be able to kick the hell out of everyone but you're still a weak little child if you can't trust someone or take the advice of someone who inherently knows better.
