- Q:Hello: I have a mini phantom emergency-responder blue light that plugs into a car's cigarette lighter. Given how bright this light it, I would like to use it on the rear of my bicycle to make myself more visible when riding at night. To do this, I will need to hook it up to a rechargeable battery pack. Any idea how to do this??
- Buy a 12V outlet that comes with a cord. Connect it to the battery pack and plug the light into it.
- Q:Hi, recently been give a Venom recharge station for my birthday to charge my Wiimotes, however, when the batteries are removed and the replaced with the rechargeable packs they lose Sync with the Wii, I can't Sync using the red button as when I remove the backplate, the battery packs come away with them and there is no hole in the pack to give me access to the button with the packs on. ARRRRRGGGH! Any help out there?
- I Suggest u just switch the batteries from a tv remote sync it then put the battery pack in. Or u can try to stick a safety pin. But once you sync it u can take the batteries out and change them and it will still be synced
- Q:does battery world repack batteries? if they do, how much does it cost?
- some Anton Bauer battery packs are made with individual cells ( D size) internally. they can be re-celled (not repacked) yourself or by a technician. i used to do this at various television stations i worked at. i am not aware of any other type battery pack that is can be done with. it would cost about 1/4th the price of a new pack.
- Q:Can you please give me a price on a Battery Pack UN34AS1-T for my laptop.
- very confusing point. try searching over google or bing. that will help!
- Q:I was looking for a cheap battery pack and found this 8.4V 1600mAh NiMH Flat Battery Pack for Airsoft Guns.Is this reliable???Why or why not
- If it fits in an airsoft gun, or it says its for airsoft guns, why wouldn't it be reliable? Just don't overcharge it.
- Q:If i made a battery pack of 13 batteries, each 3.7V 4000mAh in series, then i would get a battery pack output of 48.1V 4000mAh (assuming thats correct).my question is, how would i go about charging the pack? or bertter put, what kind of charger should i be looking for to safley charge the pack?im clueless on how to go about charging it, any advice would help, thanks.
- I'm not sure either. A thermal cutoff is a good idea for lithium ion cells stops (or greatly reduces) the charging when the cells heat to 40 degrees c 104 f or there abouts. Tesla motor car has a separate fuse for each of the 8000 cells. A piece of fine wire about 1 centimeter long in series with each cell may be an adequate fuse. One fuse, 10 amp slow blow is likely ok as all your cells are in series. Likely 5 amps of charging current is ok up to 80% of full charge or when the first cell has a voltage of 5 volts, while charging. A fan to keep the cells cool will be helpful at high charging rates. A resistor that increases from 1/10 ohm to one ohm, when it heats to 110 f while touching each cell, might be ok. I think, the 50 volts at 400 milliamps is ok, if you don't mind 6 hours to half charge, and you remember to stop charging at 20 hours, or sooner. Unlike nicd, lithium ion cells are ok about partial charging, but deteriate or worse if over discharged, or over charged. Neil
- Q:I was thinking of getting a mercury mariner hybrid, since I needed the cargo space, and wanted an SUV that got good gas mileage. I know that SUV hybrid packs are expensive, but some say the batteries can even outlast the car. Just to be safe, I wanna know where I can find one online, in case I ever need one in the future, so I can see firsthand how much they cost. I think the estimates I've read online are totally exaggerated. I've heard people paying $1200 to $6000 to replace battery packs. That's why I wanna see firsthand how much they actually cost. So, where do I find one?

- Q:1)I have an R/C plane with a battery pack that is 9.6V250mAIm looking for backup battery packs, my question is, is this an okay battery to buy it looks the same but I know little about electronics2)If it sounds like i can buy the other battery, what voltage/mA can i go up too, Because I want the longest flight time /capacity
- 1.) I believe that you got the units wrong. mA is a unit of current, mAh is a unit of energy. Don't get the two confused. 2.) If you want to increase the duration of your plane, then what you need is a battery with a higher mAh capacity. mAh dictates the amount of energy the battery has. Thus the more energy the battery has(measured in mAh), the longer lasting your plane would be. Get a battery with a higher mAh and then your plane will last longer. However there is one thing that you must consider. Not that many battery companies post the mAh rating of the battery on the actual battery itself. Thus you may want to visit the companies website to find the exact battery specifications you need. 3.) The voltage rating of the battery must remain the same, or you risk damaging the internal electronics inside the circuit. Unless of course the circuit has a voltage regulator(Nowadays almost everyone uses a regulator). If the battery that you purchase is within tolerance I would def. use it as well. I would get any battery that has a higher maH rating and any voltage upto 10.6V. 4.) The current rating does not matter for the battery.
- Q:differs a lot from the left battery to the right? from left to right, each battery uses successivly less water from a lot to hardly any each time I add water. these are the standard wet batteries exactly the same as those used in fork lifts.
- If you have batteries in parallel, check the wiring. There is a way to wire them diagonally so that they all have equal wire lengths and participate equally. In the worst case, if the 4 batteries are wired straight across in parallel, the one that is nearest to the load is doing all the work during discharge, and is the one charging up during the day. It doesn't seem like a length of fat wire should make much difference, but it does.
- Q:I already know why because I put in new batteries and it wouldn't come on. On the back where they have a little metal piece mine isn't up all the way it went back so i had to tamper with it until i got it working again and it only does it when is lets loose or when i take the battery pack out and my white remote sucks because my little brother would get mad and throw it on the bed or hit it hard when i killed him on COD Black Ops.
- Well if it's the rechargeable pack it might've died/broken. They last about 3-4 years, when their time comes they eventually ware out and don't work. Buy some new ones
