Get a new battery pack, you old one has aged, badly. PDV-288 sounds like a SpectrinIQ or Protron model, I am saying.
i lost the pack for the AA's to go in and my play and charge cord doesnt work so i have a dead battery from that. any help is aprecciated.
unfortunatly not. It's possible but wouldnt be worth your time. You best off by buying a new battery pack
I am going to mod my novation ultranova to use with a battery pack. just trying to be sure of the specs as the manual says the wall wart is 12vdc 1250ma BUT it can also be powered by usb which is only 5vdc at.5a . so what would be the best choice to be able to get a nice long lasting power supply on it? (I would like to just make up a battery pack that I can plug into the dc connection on the UN)
Use an gell cell/AGM battery. Those are around 12V, and can run for hours depending on your chosen capacity and load drawn. An 18Ah battery might last 6-10 hours. It might help if you say why you need to run it without utility power, and for how long you need it to run.
Use 8 AA batteries (1.5V per section) to get a battery pack with a voltage of 9.6V
5 rechargeable battery voltage is 1.2V a, so with 8 AA rechargeable batteries get the output voltage is just 9.6V. Can replace the 9.6V single battery, such as to be more durable, as long as the capacity of some of the battery on it.
hey guys i was changing my Xbox controllers batteries and i got up pull the case for my batters out and it slipped out my had and flew on the floor it broke into two pieces and it still works but it wont stay stuck together in my controller the the battery pack that is and it is not a plug and play it is just a regular battery pack you put batteries in. anyway i can make them stay together
if you have a play and charge kit just leave it plugged in without any batteries
I have the graco pack and play with that little music/light part and i cant figure out how to put batterys in it. i see part of it looks like a battery pack but i cant get it open! i lost the instructions
You have to unscrew it with a screwdriver. Its in a tight corner so put the screwdriver on an angle. You'll figure it out when you see where the screws are.
i have a cannon camera that holds a cannon battery pack NB-4L 3.7V 760mAh (Li-ion)and i am traveling to the phillipenes they have wall outlets that output 220 wattscan my cannon battery pack be charged without major promblems?thnak you.
It's not about the battery pack but more whether the charger will take multiple voltages. Most chargers will work anywhere in the world and are called multi-voltage chargers. To check have a look on the back of the charger and see if it says 'input 100-240v' If it does then it will work fine wherever you are in the world, just get the relevant adapter for the plug socket.
I have replaced the ni-cad cells in my 18V bosch drill with li-ion cells (respecting the voltage and wiring). Can I use the original ni-cad charger? The charger knew when to stop charging with the ni-cad battery, will it do the same now?Thank you.
If you can stop a 300 ft pound impact wrench it isn't worth owning unless there is a torque setting and you have it on the weakest setting. Regarding the batteries, tools are usually one or the other meaning that if it comes with NiCad or Li Ion there is no switching to the other or why would they produce two batts for the same device. If you HAVE a choice Li ion batts are very light in weight by comparison to 18V NiCads are. I have two cordless drills I use/used. One is an 18 volt DeWalt with NiCad and the other is Rigid with Li Ion, they are both the same relative age ( maybe 6 months between the two) . My DeWalt is still going strong 8 years later, but the Rigid with compact Li Ion batts are BOTH dead and gone: no recharging will kick them over. I called customer service to see if I could find out whether it was the charger or the batts. They weren't any help so I got another charger and the batts came up as defective. At $100 each I am in no hurry to replace them because the DeWalt is still going strong. So I am convinced Li Ion is one I personally will avoid going forward.
