There are two kind of AR glass fiber, one is Pre – mixed Fiberglass Chopped Strand, the other one is Water – dispersed Fiberglass Chopped Strands.
(1) Pre – mixed Fiberglass Chopped Strand
Properties of Water – dispersed Fiberglass Chopped Strands:
It has excellent properties with alkali resistance, stiffness, bundle – state, ageing – proof, Mixed 20 minutes in cement at 50rpm,it can still keep good bundle state, it won’t dispersed to filament.
Purpose of Water – dispersed Fiberglass Chopped Strands:
It is a high integrity AR Glass Fiber Chopped Strands designed for use in the reinforcement of concrete, renders and mortars. It may be added to conventional mixes either on site or by prepending with other dry mix components. The low – tex strands permits efficient reinforcement at low dosages. They are particularly suited to the modification of standard concrete mixes for floor screeds and slabs,and for the preparation of prebagged mixes of special mortars and renders.
(2) Water – dispersed Fiberglass Chopped Strands
Properties of Water – dispersed Fiberglass Chopped Strands:
AR Glassfiber Applied with water – dispersed size, the strands will disperse well to filaments in water in 10 seconds, and also disperse fast, usage amount less, enlarge strength.
Purpose of Water – dispersed Fiberglass Chopped Strands:
It is typically used at a low level of addition to prevent cracking and improve the performance of ready mix concrete, floor screeds, renders or the special mortar mixes.it can be used for surface crack – proof of GRC products.

- Rubber cement is totally unsuitable for using in a mold. First of all, the mold would prevent it from drying, and even if it did dry, the cement would adhere to the mold. Finally, the cement isn't real strong.

- Q:Hello!We are removing our corner shower and installing a soaker bath tub with a 4pc tub wall kit. When I removed the shower wall kit, I noticed that it was glued to drywall only!! I was surprised that it wasn't wet or moldy. My question is - can I leave the drywall where it is and just install the aqua board or cement board over it, and then install the tub wall kit over that? Or do I have to remove the drywall? Should I use aqua board or cement board? I am going to use a tub wall kit.Husband says to remove the drywall....but I'm the one doing all the labor while he is away at work....so if I can leave the drywall on that's a plus!Thanks!
- Your husband is right. Get rid of the wallboard. If you are not planning on putting up tiles there is no reason to use cement board. I would get some Vantek board from Lowes, about 27.00 a sheet and use that. It's waterproof and comes with a 25 year warranty. It looks and acts like plywood. Really strong, just make sure you wear goggles when you cut it, the wood flakes and plays havoc on your eyes. I used Vantec on a kitchen floor and also as a replacement for my patio roof. It rained twice before we got the shingles on and did no damage. And we get a bit of rain here in southern Missouri

- I'm a union painter...please don't use rubber cement on the wall. You will only have to hire me to come scrape,patch, and sand all the areas you glued. Then I'm going to have to paint the walls. So if ya want to prevent me from coming over to do this,,,use poster puddy :) It's wall friendly. You can get it at Wal mart

- Is this near/around a pool or water source? Cement must be sealed, then painted. Go to B. Moore paints or Bear paints. Lowes Home center carries both I think. The paint for cement is a special blend that must be used. Can use paint sprayer.
- Q:hey guys i know what the blue cement does for my teeth it helps me not to touch my bottom teeth giving it space but was wondering does it get better in a week or two? i have the blue cement on both of my molars and i have braces on both upper and bottom teeths. - Uuuggggghh the blue cement. I hated that stuff. The texture was so weird and... bleh. Anyway, it took me about a month, maybe 3 weeks, before chewing got to be more normal, once the cement started wearing down. Don't worry, eventually it does wear down and you'll be able to eat like normal. The orthodontist will take the cement off when your overbite is improved enough. For me, it took about... 10 months, I think. But it all depends on your individual case, and your orthodontist. I know one girl whose ortho never actually removed the cement. She doesn't care, because the blobs are so tiny by now, but it happens.
