Q: my father took away my cable so i can play the game but i just want to take the game out of it
You can risk breaking your xbox or you could also pick any random house on your street and knock at the door and ask to plug your xbox with their cable to remove the disc. Every household owns an xbox Or just stop by a friends house with your xbox
Q: So, I built my first computer 6 months ago, only to have the power supply fail, and maybe fry the CPU or the motherboard (hope not), and I ordered the XFX 550W from newegg. Now I built the computer, but this is actually going to be the first time I'm taking out the cables of the power supply to the motherboard, and it looks like it's quite tightly in there, do I just take it out by force? I don't want to exert too much pressure because I'm a pussy and I don't want to ruin it haha.
The HDD power cable has no clips, the SATA cable usually does though. The ATX power cable especially (20/24pin) will give quite a lot of resistance, just make sure to keep pushing the clip down while pulling up equally, meanwhile, keep an eye on the motherboard, it'll flex and bend as you pull it up, but yes, you will have to pull quite hard to get things out, harder than you would normally think, I was the same as you, I keep thinking if I pull/push too hard or force things they'll break, but components are far more robust and resistant than you think.
Q: So I have some speakers that are for a PC. I just got a new laptop and I want to use the speakers, which I can with 100% ease but I want it to be portable, meaning I don't want to have to plug in my speakers to a wall outlet, i would like to hook it up with a USB. Is there way I can make a USB power cord so i can power the speakers from my laptop? I have a 12V DC 0.5A wall adapter and a usb to cut in half or whatever to make this thing work, i also have a soldering kit. Is this possible? Thansk for any help and Merry Christmas ;)
Since you give such scant information the only answer I can give you is maybe. The biggest drawback I can see is the voltage/power issue. USB specs say that you can draw 500 milliamps at 5 volts so if your speakers run at 5 volts and don't draw more than 500 mA then yes you can. If your speakers use a different voltage or have higher current requirements then no. (what is up with the 12V DC 0.5A wall adapter? You don't identify what that is ... is that what you use to power the speakers? If so, then you can't power the speakers with USB.)
Q: Hi, Whether it will causes any problem the power and speaker in a same path? I dont have a separate path for speakers to mount it in wall. I plan to use the existing path which is used for other electrical items. If i use the same path for electrical wire and speaker wire, it will damage the speaker or will make any short circuit in the electrical line?Thank you.
If you parallel a power cord, you could get 60 cycle in the speaker cord. This is why they would like you to run them at least 4 apart. However, you might not be able to do that. It will not damage the wire, nor create a short circuit. Just possible noise (a low frequency buzz).
Q: I just moved to the UK, and I have a US xbox 360 slim, I still have the power brick and everything. My friend here has a power cable that will fit the US power brick (it is from his UK xbox). Can I plug in the UK cable to the US power brick then plug it like I normally would into my 360? Or will that fry the power adapter or xbox? Thanks!!
How might I replace it if i've got not got it linked to the internet? i think of you may obtain the replace and placed it on a flash force. How might I hook up with the internet? I don’t have a instant router, basically the Nintendo wireless usb connector for my wii. am i able to basically use cables/cords? particular it has an the two internet twine. Is on line unfastened? i think of silver is, and that i comprehend Gold is $50 in line with twelve months. particular, yet once you do the mathematics, and are available across a good deal you will get 13 months for around $40. What are the failings you're able to do and purchase on line? in general like gamer maps, there are gamer photos and subject concerns to your xbox. (those are not fairly worth it) in general upload ons for video games, or purchase archade video games. If/whilst i'm able to circulate on line, what are some on line useful properties? You play agasint others on line, you may obtain demos faster. whilst employing XBLA do the video games you purchase circulate on on your memory card/hardrive or do they stay on line after procuring it/basically play it on line? They circulate onto your perplexing force. Can Xbox arcade even use the XBLA/industry or circulate on line? i don't think of so. i think of you choose some memory card or perplexing force. Are you satisfied with yours? very plenty so! (the different questions digital mail me)
Q: I just bought a new computer, a DELL Inspiron 530. It has none of the older 4-pin power cables from the power supply; only the newer SATA power devices. I have an older hard drive, that connects via IDE cables (the gray ribbon). Ive already bought the card that converts the IDE to SATA, and it is connected to the mother board. Here is the problem: the IDE Hard Drive is powered with the 4-pin power supply that Ive seen on EVERY power supply before this one. The IDE to SATA converter came with an extension for that 4-pin power supply. But the power supply in the tower DOESNT HAVE ANY 4-PIN POWER ADAPTERS. It has one free SATA power. Im looking to take the SATA power from my power supply, convert it to the old-style IDE 4-pin power supply (female) and plug it into the 4-pin extension (male) that powers my hard drive and SATA-IDE converter. Most converters go the other way... Please post links with examples of parts, since I cannot find anything that lets me do what I am looking to
The SATA motherboard uses probably ATX or MicroATX. These are motherboard independant, but for SATA drives you need a SATA power adapter (it converts the 4 wire MOLEX into a flat SATA power cable). Most SATA drives come with this or even the motherboard does. if your power supply is ATX and your Motherboard is ATX then it will work (granted the wattage is enough for all your devices).
Q: Help in English:do these expressions have exactly the same meaning?
There is some overlap, but, as Eric says, a cable is usually thicker than a cord. There is an interesting saying in German that contrasts the two ideas. Lange Leitung ... kurzer Draht. English isn't so specific.
Q: How do I get it not to do that? Its really annoying. Whenever I remove the charger cable , the screen gets really dark. It seems like an actual function and not a defect, but is their a way to toggle it on and off?
Thats how its made. Laptops dim screens to save battery power. To override the setting, look for a picture of the Sun on the middle-top of your keyboard. Sometimes its Blue. Once you find it, look at the bottom left of your keyboard for a FN (function) button. While holding the FN button, tap a few times at the sun button. Your screen should now be bright ;) Make sure you do this with the power unplugged, enjoy.
Q: On my original PS3 power cable it says 10A 125V, do I have to make sure the cable I use from a computer matches the same?
yes you can due same due its only a cable
Q: I recently purchased a Nvidia 8300gs for PCI-E x16.I know that not all graphics cards need a power cable but i'm going to buy one partially because the seller said PCI-E power cable required so is this a common item? would i be able to pick one up at best buy?
A 8300gs does not need power. Anything over a 8600gt needs the external power connector.
