Q: I've been thinking about selling origami and I think it will worked out. And also because this is my hobby and I want to have my own cash.: Since the crane is such a basic figure, and anybody who's interested in origami can make it for themselves, you probably couldn't sell them. Maybe you might be able to sell some of the more complicated models, but I can't think you'd get much for them. There's no market.

Q: how to draw a crane hook on auto cad?: Measure a crane hook then draw it. Even better, visit a manufacturer's web site and see if you can download one of their drawings for a hook.

Q: Iv done some research and I cant seem to find a place that might sell jibs locally here in Phoenix. Iv been considering the ProAm DVC 200 crane but I would also like to see others in like a store. If anyone has any info it would be appreciated!: I went down that path last year in the SF Bay Area in California. I could not find a store that carried any cranes or jibs - so I just started asking around. Stay away from any that use cables to keep the stage steady - we used one at a shoot - setting up is an interesting challenge. I thought I wanted the same unit you are looking at - and decided I needed to trust the crane a bit more with my HDR-FX1... I had to wait longer to save more $, but I really like the crane and tripod kit I ended up with... from Kessler Crane... I never got to see it before I bought it and I was, um... nervous... but I am glad I made the investment - and Eric Kessler is REALLY helpful and great to work with. One of the other cranes I looked at uses a heavy duty PA speaker stand as its tripod base. After watching light trees and PA speakers fall over because of leg failure, I could not bring myself to trust them to hold my camcorder. I can STAND or JUMP on the Kessler tripod and it does not budge. It is rock-steady and really strong. The Hercules head is silk-smooth and the crane-arm and camera stage are steady and easy to manipulate. After a little practice, it now takes me about 10-15 minutes from the time I start unpacking until I am ready to start shooting. That includes mounting the camcorder, setting the counterweights, mounting a portable DVD player with AV-in as the monitor mounted to the tripod-head so I can see what the camcorder is shooting and running the AV, headphone and LANC cables and making the whole thing pretty with velcro strips.

Q: 3years after I quit a job,I am once again looking toward the same field it's just that in my old job they helped me get a crane license when I left the job they kept my certification .How can i get that info without asking my old work for it,or would i have to take the course over?: Hsquared gives a very blunt, and incorrect answer. Apparently a claimed 30 years in HS has not made her realize that different jurisdictions have different rules? Glad she's not working for me. Where I live a mobile crane operator or tower crane operator must be certified at a minimum every 3 years. The correct answer is to contact the agency which licenses crane operators in your jurisdiction. They should have a copy of your certification.

Q: Is the working load of a crane the maximum weight it is able to lift?: yes it is , because when we Design a part usually we will ad safty factor 1.5 or more from the maximum weght is able.

Q: Two cranes can unload a ship together in 8 hours. The faster crane takes 12 hours less than the slower crane, if each were to unload the same ship alone. How long does it take for each crane to unload this ship?: If an answer of -4 hours is expected, pl. excuse. The practical difficulties of the faster cranes are constraints - the loading to / unloading from any crane is tricky, time consuming are with practical problems. The ship. yard where it is angered, the type of the cargo also decide the swiftness of unloading ; so it is not simple ratio !

Q: I know that there's Tibetan and Fujian but what are all the styles and which is the best one to learn ( in your opinion): The Tibetan style is based on the Tibetan White Ape and is a separate style having no relation to the Fujian style. The Fujian style from Yong Chun Village (aka Wing Chun Village)is the Original White Crane. Shouting, Feeding, Shaking, Leaping and Ancestral Crane styles which are practiced in Taiwan are based on Yong Chun White Crane. Edit: Shaolin white crane is Fujian White Crane. It is not a Shaolin Style but it has roots in the Shaolin 18 Lohan Style. emei white crane? There is no Crane Style in the Omei branch of CMA.

Q: This poor little guy has been out on my balcony where I smoke my cigarettes for two days now. One wing is badly mangled and he can't fly away, I thought to just let him work it out yesterday in hopes of him healing on his own somewhere, but today he was climbing on my leg as if asking for help and I feel horrible for him now...he's suffering, he hasn't gone far in at least 24 hours I feel I should feed him and give him water until he heals...what do crane flies even eat?? Any advise aside of killing him and putting him out of his misery would be great!!: Take him to a wildlife reserve! He has a chance of life! Or a 24 hour emergency vets office would be good. You could call a vet to come to your house. It might be a little pricey, but the animal would thank you for it. If he is suffering too badly, a vet will make the decision to euthanize him. If you have any children at your house, do not allow them to see it. It does not make a child happy to see a bird in that condition. I would call your local vets office now.

Q: this is a little of a random question but why do you think that we should save the crested cranes of uganda? and what do you know about the crested cranes???: Because man is a reasoning being he has the capability of saving things. It is in our nature. Secondly, if man's activities are the cause of the Crane's extinction - destroyed its habitat or food source, then man should help reverse this.
