1.History

Aluminium foil acts as a total barrier to light and oxygen (which cause fats to oxidise or become rancid), odours and flavours, moistness, and germs, and so it is used broadly in food and pharmaceutical packaging. The purpose of aluminium is to make long-life packs (aseptic packaging) for drinks and dairy goods, which allows storing without refrigeration. Aluminium foil containers and trays are used to bake pies and to pack takeaway meals, ready snacks and long life petfoods.

Q:Hanging up paper posters?
rare earth magnets are the best way to hang large paper works if you can't afford a framethey look like a small battery or pill but are much stronger than a traditional magnetyou have two options for making the wall magnetic the cheapest and easiest if you are only going to hang one poster is to find nails with a large head that the magnets will stick tobring the magnets with you when you pick out the nails to make sure they will stick togetheryou should only need one magnet for each corner to hold it upjust put nails in the wall where you want the 4 corners to goif you cannot nail or screw into the wall the best option would be to pick up a thin easy to cut magnetic metal sheeti believe the one i found that was the cheapest and easiest to work with was called aluminum flashingagain test whatever you pick out with the rare earth magnets to make sure there is a strong enough bondyou can cut aluminum flashing into small squares or strips using tin snipsattach the aluminum flashing to the wall with an acid free masking tapeover time any tape may damage the paint on the wall, acid free masking tape is the best balance of strength and ease of future removal.
Q:I am from Nicaragua and would love to get some for my family without having to ship from overseas!
Hot Rod is rightThe Al3+ ion is diamagnetic (no magnetic properties, apart from a very weak repulsion by magnetic fields, shared by all substances), but Al metal is paramagnetic (weakly attracted to a magnetic field), and some Al alloys are components of very strongly magnetic materials.
Q:alphabetadeltagamma
None of your options are cheapIf you live in a humid area drying the air inside with a dehumidifier can improve the 'feeling' of warmth even if it's not warmerWindows are a BIG heat loss, especially single-pane, might be my first stepWalls loss a substantial amount of heat but the floor radiates cold into the house and when the floor is cold so are your feet (icicle-toes ring any bells?).
Q:Note: numbers in [] are subscriptsI have a test tube with CuO and add 2HCl to make CuCl[2] + H[2]OThen I add AluminumThere are 2 reactions, one with copper and one without copperThe reaction without copper is 2Al + 6HCl makes 2AlCl[3] + 3H[2]What is the reaction with Copper? Note: I have to get Solid copper as a free element
i dont know to ur questionbut thanks for the answer to minei get it noww!
Q:I need the help of some expert crafts/handy/artsy? anyone really.?
hibest way to go i think is to find a cube the size you want (wood, plastic, polystyrene) cover the dirt sides in glue and press the glue bits into some sandand if you go to a shop that sells model railway stuffyou can get bags of all sorts of soil, grit and sandthey should also have grass, moss and even trees you could stick on ithope that helpsmark.
Q:Chose from plastic bag, aluminum foil, wax paper, paper towel
Normally the wax melts - it is just paraffin - but if it worked - go for it - nothing wrong with the wax it is edible/food safe even if a little does get on the cookies it wouldn't be a problem other than a slight 'wax-lip' chewiness.
Q:If you have one, will share a recipe for crab and shrimp au gratin, with me?
I completely agree with Michael, the architect aboveThank you, Michael, for being one of the few architects I've encountered who can give a good answer to this questionYes, the material cost for trusses will be more, and the labor TIME will be less; however, most contractors I've dealt with won't give you any break on price for using trusses, eventhough they probably shouldAnd, Michael is right, no truss manufacturer or building materials dealer gives an architect a kickback for using their product.
Q:I live in New Zealand and my parents cannot be bothered taking my cat to the vetThey work 9 hrs a day 7 days a week and they say that you don't need toThey have a colleague who has owned a lot of cats who says that you don't need to take cats to the vet, and they take her word for itI'm not 100% sure if this is true, but our cat looks like shes always really boredWe don't have any toys for her, as we never get time to buy themI always just swing a shoe lace around and she seems to be interested for like 1 minute then she just walks awayWe don't have a place for her to sleep, she likes to sleep on my bed or on my office chairI'm 13 so I can't really go out and buy her stuff, nor do I even have the money toShould I take her to the vet, buy her toys, etcOr should I leave her like this? She seems to just sleep around the house most of the time then go outside for a whileWhat should I do?
just do the best with what you havefor a bed, a cardboard box with a blanket in it would be goodmake sure she has a lot of fresh water to drinkyou can crumple up a small paper bag or aluminum foil to make a ball she can bat aroundcats sleep 16 hours a day, and if she has the opportunity to go outside, she shouldn't be bored.
