Specifications

1. Material is Q195(C is 0.06% ~ 0.12%)
2. Zinc coating is 40g/m2 ~ 60g/m2
3. Tensile strength is 400N ~ 600N

Galvanized wire's first stage is drawing.

there are two kinds of drawing machine: powder drawing and water drawing. powder drawing is fit for junior drawing(6.5mm~4.0mm). One powder drawing machine has 4 tanks and 4 molds. One tank is matched with a mold. Each of them are offered energy by a electromotor. 0.9mm(max)can be "eat" when the wire cross a mold. There are no loss of weight during drawing.

Water draw is used for senior draw.(≤4.0mm)The container is filled with water, soap and 8 molds. Compared with powder draw, water draw can save lots of room and the wire cannot be broken.

After drawing, the wire is thinner, but also very hard. The tensile strength is about 700N. These wire can be used to produce nail and mesh panel. For galvanized wire, it still need annealing

Galvanized wire's second stage is anneal.

Anneal is to low the tensile strength of wire. The stove is solid and built with red bricks. The architecture of anneal stove is cuboid. Different thickness of wire require different temperature. Range is from 700°C to 900°C. Output of the anneal stove, the tensile strength is 400N~600N.

Galvanized wire's third stage is chlorhydric acid washing.

After the draw and anneal, the wire is thinner, softer but also much more dirty. It needs chlorhydric acid washing to remove the impurities. Chlorhydric acid washing requires water pool and chlorhydric acid pool. The density of chlorhydric acid is 17%. In the Chlorhydric acid pool, there is a caldron used for the emission of vapor.

Galvanized wire's fourth stage: Zinc coating

After the chlorhydric acid pool, water pool is also necessary.

Q: When wiring my subs from a positive to negative coil, do I use positive or negative speaker wire?
Speaker wire is speaker wire. There's no difference between positive and negative wire except the markings on the jacket. If you're talking about the bridge wire when wiring a dual voice coil subwoofer in series, just use any piece of wire that's the same gauge as the wires between the other subwoofer terminals and the box terminals.
Q: how do I replace this, the wire is built into the speaker and runs into the unit.
If you have enough wire, just twist it back together and cover the open wiring with electrical tape. If he took out a chunk of wire, just buy some more speaker wire and do t he same thing. The wires should be red and black, just connect the red to the red and the black to the black. It's a really quick and easy fix you can do yourself.
Q: I am currently doing a guitar build and want to do the 21 tone jimmy page wiring style. I have a few questions. I can follow the diagram attached fairly well but am just confused on certain points. 1. for all the wires excluding the pickup wires, so the majority of the black wires, should those be hot wire or ground wire? I bought a wire back that has black ground wire and hot white wire and am confused on what to use when. 2. Specifically with the black wire coming from each pickup, once those go to a terminal on the pot the black wire that comes off of that joint is a connecting wire like in question 1, not a stretch of the pickup wire correct?3. When multiple wires come to a single solder joint should you tin the pot and then add one wire at a time to that spot or solder them all together and then to the pot?
Hello there, 1) Excluding pickups, black wire hot or ground? They use black for both in that diagram. I believe the only ground wires are all marked as ground in the diagram. A ground wire will run from the case of a pot to somewhere. To the ground side of the jack. To the bridge. To another pot. As for what you bought, I have no idea what you are trying to say. There is no difference in the wire itself that is used for ground or hot. You can use any wire (except bare) for either of those. 2) The black wire from the bridge pickup goes to a terminal of the switch on the push/pull bridge volume pot. You may solder the wire and continue the same wire down to the terminal of the switch on the push/pull tone pot. Or you can use another wire to connect those switches. The black wire from the neck pickup go to the middle terminal of the neck volume pot. Again, you may continue the wire from the pickup or solder in another wire to connect to the switch on the push/pull neck tone pot. 3). When I run ground wires to the case of a pot. I used separate solder joints. I do not wrap the wires together and then solder them as a group onto the pot. I have tried that and got bad connection on some of the wires. Best to solder ground wires separately. On a switch terminal where you have two wires coming to the same terminal, I try to solder both wires at the same time to the terminal. 4). All connections are soldered. Also, you should be aware that not all pickups have the same colored wires. You need to check the color code for the brand of pickups you are using. Seymour Duncan makes his diagrams based on using his pickups. If you use some other brand, the color of the pickup wires may be different. Seymour Duncan has a pickup wire color code chart on his web site. Later, Norm
Q: what wires are my speaker wires going to and coming from the factory amp and how do i hook them up please help i drive a 96' ford exploder
Chilton's guide in the library may have this information. Also, it is online with my library so you might be able to find this out at home.
Q: Im cleaning up some of the wires in the engine bay and getting rid of ones i dont use. Right now theresthe pos side bat post runs down to the starter. From the starter there is a thicker wire and a skinny wire. In the thicker wire there is a wire that goes to the post on alternator. Both wires from starter run over to a relay maybe ithas a stud sticking out and has a wire that goes from the bottom of it to the fuse box. Im in middle of relocating the battery into the trunk so what wires can i eliminate and what wires have to go,to the battery?
All these wires were put there for a purpose. Best if you left it all alone (including leaving the battery up front)
Q: I am planning to wire my single sub 400rms svc to my amplifier 400rms x 1 @4 ohms. My car model is 94 mitsubishi lancer. how many AWG ( gauge) should I use? Like for Power, ground, speaker wire. I just want to have the full potential of my sub and ampli. For my 2nd question: if I decided to put a 2nd sub wired it on the same amp making it 800rms x1 @ 2 ohms. (my amplifier is a class d mono 1600 watt peak by the way) should I need to use a capacitor?Thank you

Q: Hello,I am trying to figure out what type of metal jewelry wire I need for a beading project. I found mostly copper wire at the craft store, as well as a smaller variety of aluminum and brass wire. Is this copper wire (came in many colors) a durable wire? It seemed very soft. Is there a stronger wire on the market? I am mostly looking for 22-28 gauge wire. Thanks!
There okorder / and also look at the page on wire gauge chart. Hope this will help you to purchase the correct wire for your project.
Q: I recently bought a stereo for my truck. What is a good average gage for a ground wire? Speaker wire? Power wire? Last but not least a speaker control (remote) wire? If it helps, I am running a 760 watt pioneer amp on two 12 inch subs. Thanks
It depends on the size of the amplifier. Recommended wire size should be no less than 10 gauge wire for power and ground. 4 or 8 Gauge power wire you need 4 or 8 gauge ground wire . Speaker wire depends on the speaker. Door speakers should use14-16 gauage speaker wire. Subwoofers should use no less than 12 Gauge speaker wire. Remote wire doesn't need to be big at all use can use 16-18 gauge wire for the installation.
Q: For my science project, need about 3 feet of copper wire...approx how much will that cost me? I want the wires to be pretty thin :)
no. romex, household wiring, can be as little as $0.57/ft and i bett you don't really need 3 wire, 8 gauge romex for your project...
Q: I bought this ceiling lamp, and there are 4 wires coming out of it. One white and one black (positive and negative), a bare copper wire for grounding, but there's also a yellow striped green wire. I was wondering what's the latter one for ?In my ceiling I have the black, white and bare copper wires.I'm Canadian by the way
The yellow and green wire is another ground wire. In a house in North America most systems are AC and there is NO positive or negative conductor. The conductors are a ground/bare, white/neutral and any color is a hot wire. The green or yellow green are the exception to the color codes. I suggest you get a book on basic house wiring before you attempt anything besides basic replacement of devices.
