Conductor: Soft annealed stranded copper wires to BS6360, class 2, concentrically stranded in successive layers, in opposite direction, to form the stranded conductor. Aluminum also available

Insulation:The conductor are insulated with a layer of extruded XLPE/PVC compound.

Filling:The assembled cable is filled with a layer of PVC compound in order to fill the interstices between the cores and render the cable round.

Armoring: Consists of single layer of Steel Tape/Galvanized steel wires of appropriate size.

Sheathing: An outer protection of extruded PVC compound is applied over the armor.

Voltage rating: 0.6/1kV,3.6/6kV;6/10KV;8.7/15KV;12/20KV;18/20KV;19/33KV;21/35KV;26/35KV

Operating temperature:

90 continuous normal operation, 130 for emergency overload condition and 250 for short circuit condition

Application:

For outdoor and indoor installations in damp and wet locations, laid direct in the ground where excessive mechanical stresses are present in sloping and moving terrains and in vertical or inclined laying, as well as in locations susceptible to sliding.

Q: I have a Parrot Boombox bluetooth speaker but am missing the power cable. Can you look at this picture and tell me what kind it is and where I might get one?: It is an IEC C7 power connector (unpolarized, but that is pretty much the norm). Also known as a figure-8 or tape recorder connector for largely historical reasons. Any electronics or electrical shop should be able to sort you out - Radio Shack for instance.

Q: I have a hard drive that has an enclosure is there any way to take an internal 3.5hard drive and convert it to an only usb cable portable hard drive with no power cord?: No. Not a 3.5 hard drive. You can do it with a 2.5 laptop drive because the drive mechanics and electronics require less power. A 3.5 drive requires too much power for USB to provide. Though... In the near future, you will see USB ports that are capable of supplying more power than the standard .5 amps that USB currently provides. So after they come out, you might see it being a possibility then.

Q: I have this printer, bought for $100 at Best Buy a few years ago... I moved almost 2 years ago, and seemingly have lost one or more of the cords associated with this printer. Im trying to find out which one is missing. I have the one which connects the printer to the computer [USB]. But I dont have the one that gives it power... Q: It never occurred to me that the power cable -- the one connected from the outlet to the laptop's AC brick -- is rated at quot;125V - 7Aquot;. Does that mean it won't be able to handle the 240V in some countries? The brick itself is rated 100V - 240V, so it can be used internationally. In fact, I spent a year in France, where I used my Dell Inspiron just fine (with a prong adapter so it'll fit into the socket). The reason why I'm paying attention to the power cable is because the cable for my Nikon D80 battery charger has a quot;USsticker on it. The charger itself can handle 240V, but does this mean the cable cannot?: If the power cord has a converter connected to it, then you can use it up to the voltage listed on the box. Yes, you will need an adapter though. If you are uncertain you could also call the maker of your laptop, or an electronics store.
