FAQ:
Q1: Are electronics cheap in Okorder.com?
A: Of course. They are very cheap. The factories provide the goods. One-stop sourcing.
Q2: Why are electronics so cheap in ok order?
A: On ok order they are the lowest price. Because it is a wholesale website and factory provide goods.
Q3: Do all electronics have silicon in them?
A: No but most modern ones do. Older electronics that don't require micro chips don't have to have silicon at all, and their mother boards are made from copper. Silicon is used in micro chips as a semi-conductor in modern electronics but some other semi-metals, like gallium and germanium can also be used. Silicon is just the most common because it is so plentiful.

Q:I have read conflicting info regarding the ability of Vista to be able to read SD HC SD cards. Some say it's impossible, others say using an SD HC card reader works. Just bought a Canon 300 HS and need this info in order to buy the correct type of SD cards for use with my computer.
Depends on the camera and computer
Q:i was kinda wondering what are the advantages disadvantages of using either so any help would be much appreciated
Using either? The two does totally different things. Bluetooth adapter will allow you to connect a Bluetooth device to the PC and transmit stuff. For example, you can connect a bluetooth headset to PC, and use it as your wireless headset. You can probably also connect your phone to PC and transfer some small files (though Bluetooth doesn't have much bandwidth) As for card reader, it reads all sorts of flash media (depending on which you have). Plug it into USB port, and it'll act as removable drive like USB pen drives. If you have camera or cell phones it's not a bad way to transfer stuff to yoru PC without connecting a wire. Completely different stuff and different uses. What's the compare?
Q:How do I fix my card reader?
SD card reader is through a detection switch to determine whether the card can read or write or read only two states, change this state is through the card on the face of the LOCK position to change.
Q:i just bought one and it is usb powered. i have windows xp so it doesnt require me to install anything. it recognises it as a removable storage device but when i put the sdhc or sd cards in it it asks me to format then it says unable to format. it is a real pain and i dont understand what is going on. i cant even look at my files let alone transfer :( please help
The SD card should have a movable tab in the corner to lock/unlock the card. If the card is locked, you can read from it, but not copy to it or format it. If that doesn't work, I would exchange it for a different card reader.
Q:I have digital camera with a 128mb card and I plugged in my card multimedia card reader in USB and my computer can't read the pictures anymore. We used to get lots of pictures from this reader but now somethings wrong. In my taskbar there is a icon I never seen before that says safely remove hardware everytime I plug in the card reader. Anybody got any advice?
You will need to open my computer and look for the removable storage device, double click it and you will see your pics. When you get ready to unplug the card, click the icon in the taskbar to safely remove your card.
Q:I need to buy a memory card reader to use with my camera and cell phone. The cell phone memory card has an adapter with it. I am very new to thins idea of technology and was wondering if you could tell me what is best to buy that won't cost too much. I don't understand all the numbers and letters that are attached to the descriptions of these cards. Maybe a website explaining the differences would be helpful? I al so have a Dell Inspirion 600m notebook if that makes a difference.
The easiest thing I can tell you is to sit down with the manuals for everything you already own that uses memory cards. Find and write down the types each take. Then, find a multi-card reader -- sometimes called a {number}-in-1 Flash Media Reader -- that has all of them. If you don't want to go through that trouble, Sabrent makes a 52-in-1 reader that retails for about $10. It's external, so you don't need to open up your notebook to install it; and it's USB, so you should be able to get it up and running no problem. Pick it up from Tiger Direct or other computer hardware store.
Q:What are the card reader problems?
The card reader is good, but the memory card is not read on the computer, but can read on the phone
Q:Can I just use the USB port that came with my camera to transfer pictures from my SDHC card to my computer? Or do I have to buy the memory card reader?
Most card readers accept many of the standard memory cards. Just ask the salesperson if the reader you are buying accepts Memory Sticks and SD cards. You never know when you may buy a camera that uses SD cards most do.
Q:HeyI am going to buy a HP TC1100 which comes with an SD card reader. This does not support SDHC cards.I was wondering if it is possible to upgrade the card reader to SDHC? Or does it require a better motherboard? Thanks
MB's answer is good. That TC1100 is of 2003 vintage, so I really hope you don't plan to use this PC for any kind of heavy use or even video display.
Q:Do you specifically need the E3 card reader when downgrading a 3.72 ps3 to 3.55 using the E3 flasher, or can you just use any card reader, and if so what kind of card reader dose it have to be?
I wish people would read the question and understand it before they rush into an answer to show how much they know, or in this case, don't.
