FAQ:
Q1: Are electronics cheap in Okorder.com?
A: Of course. They are very cheap. The factories provide the goods. One-stop sourcing.
Q2: Why are electronics so cheap in ok order?
A: On ok order they are the lowest price. Because it is a wholesale website and factory provide goods.
Q3: Do all electronics have silicon in them?
A: No but most modern ones do. Older electronics that don't require micro chips don't have to have silicon at all, and their mother boards are made from copper. Silicon is used in micro chips as a semi-conductor in modern electronics but some other semi-metals, like gallium and germanium can also be used. Silicon is just the most common because it is so plentiful.

Q:I have a RFID Card Reader that is connected to the PC with USB. Now i want to use this foe the Attendance, like whenver a card is detected it should log a file in excel or a text file that when and what time was the card shown. So that i can come to know that when a person has come in and when he has left the office.so please someone help me please please
Without knowing the manufacturer of the card reader it's difficult to offer specific information. Suggest you contact the manufacturer by going to their website. Look for a link to customer or tech support. They should have telephone, email, and perhaps live chat available. they might even have a download site for software, drivers, etc. wwbgd
Q:I bought a card reader, but when installed the UBS port is the only one that works. I've plugged the device on 2 computers and I got the same result. When trying to install the software it says that the reader is not connected. What can be the problem? I've installed 3 DVD rom drives and 4 Hard disks and never had such a problem. Could the card reader be faulty or is something I a missing? I am returning the product today but I am uncertain if I should exchange the product or get a full refund.
It may have 2 USB connectors - one for pass through USB and one for actual reader. I have the same ussue with mine, but I just connected the reader and disconnected the port
Q:After my PC 'died' recently, I reinstalled windows vista. Everything has worked fine since, but now the card readers on the front don't seem to react when i put anything in them, even when I put a card in and click on the relevant icon under 'Computer'. Device manager says all devices are working correctly, and that the most current drivers are already installed. The light on front of the pc flashes when I put a card in, but that is all I get!!
Contact the vendor who sold the computer to you. Find out if the computer had another operating system like WindowsXP, because the reader may work with WindowsXP which goes on first. then upgrade with Vista. You can see if any cables inside are loose. You can see if the memory card needs to be cleaned according to manufacturers instructions (to clean the gold pads)
Q:I am looking at purchasing a digital camera and have decided on one. When I browse sellers, they all bundle something different to try to entice you to buy. One has a card reader included. What is this and is it necesssary?
A card reader is a device that plugs in a USB slot and allows you to take the card out of the camera and plud directly into it The main advantage is that it normaly quick to transfer photos across the the computer and does not use the camera batt power
Q:I need to know if a SDHC card reader will read regular non HC SD cards or vise versa.
yes and no some readers can not read above 2 GIGs some SDHC are 8 -16 or higher and need special readersbut if you have a high reader then it will read standard sd cards
Q:I mainly need to transfer word and powerpoint files for college work The college issued laptops have a usual card reader but for printing the college only allows you to print via the computer that they have in the lab.I am getting a second hand Chinese memory card reader for Rs.1000 and I already have a Sony camera which uses MemoryStick so I wont have to pay for the card but If I buy a Pen Drive it would cost me Rs.2500 Is it really worth the price??
I prefer Flash Drives (pen drive) just seem easy to use.
Q:I sell at flea markets and people always say they don't have enough cash on them. Is Square something good to have? Do people like using? Thanks
Yes. It works very well. I see it being used at street fairs, craft shows. I used one for a while but switched to a conventional portable card reader because it prints receipts, which most people like. It's common these days for people not to carry a lot of cash.
Q:I used to have a Jessops Universal Card Reader and with that I was able to upload my pictures from my Olympus FE-220 Digital Camera. I have now lost it, but found out about a Jessops Smart Media Card Reader. Please can anyone tell me how it works? Is it the same as a Universal Card Reader? With that, all I had to do was put in the memory card from my camera and then connect it to my computer with a USB wire. Is this how it works? Thank you in advance
It works along similar principles to your Jessops Universal Card Reader, dear lady, but it only reads SmartMedia cards. Unfortunately, your Olympus FE-220 Digital Camera doesn't use SmartMedia cards. It uses xD Picture cards a different type of memory storage card, which will NOT fit the Jessops SmartMedia Card Reader that you speak of, and would, therefore, be unsuitable.
Q:I have a gateway MX6448 laptop. It has a 6 in 1 memory card reader. The card reader is a Texas Instruments PCI-8412 card controller. I cannot find on the internet if it reads SDHC or only SD cards. I just bought a 8gb micro sd and an adapter that came with it. It will not read it. The reader will read a 512mb microsd with the adapter that came with the 8gb micro card. My guess is that my memory card reader cannot read anything about a 2gb or 4gb card? Anybody else?
it only reads the types of cards that are compatible. look at the box or manual of your laptop. it will tell you what cards fit in. not all SD card readers are the same.
Q:I just uploaded a lot of pictures to my camera, but only half are showing up. The rest are still on my memory card becasue i can view them on my camera, but they will not show up when i put the card into my computer. I shot all the pics in camera RAW, but only some are showing up. DOes anyone know how I can get teh rest on my computer?? also, now when i put the memory card in my computer, it's not reading it as in i can't open it, but i shot all the pics on the same setting at the same time. any help? thank-you!
You may want to try an external reader. They're available where ever cameras are sold for little $$. Windows will see a reader as a drive you simply copy / paste. I had that problem with my lap top. It just quit reading my cards. I was using external readers for a long time before I got my lap top but I decided to try it. It worked twice.
