FAQ:
Q1: Are electronics cheap in Okorder.com?
A: Of course. They are very cheap. The factories provide the goods. One-stop sourcing.
Q2: Why are electronics so cheap in ok order?
A: On ok order they are the lowest price. Because it is a wholesale website and factory provide goods.
Q3: Do all electronics have silicon in them?
A: No but most modern ones do. Older electronics that don't require micro chips don't have to have silicon at all, and their mother boards are made from copper. Silicon is used in micro chips as a semi-conductor in modern electronics but some other semi-metals, like gallium and germanium can also be used. Silicon is just the most common because it is so plentiful.
- Q: CAN ANYONE HELP PLZ, I TRIED TO BUY SOMETHING ON THE INTERWEB TODAY FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER, AND IT ALL WENT WRONG WHEN IT CAME TO PAYING. IT ASKED FOR MY NAME, ADDRESS, MOTHERS MAIDEN NAME, ACCOUNT NUMBER, CARD NUMBER AND PIN, SO I GAVE THIS THEN PUT MY CREDIT CARD INTO MY CARD READER, BUT IT WENT ALL THE WAY IN AND WONT COME OUT. SHAKING IT IS NO USE, AND I HAVE TRIED TWEEZERS. HELP PLEASE, WHAT DO I DO?
- Um, computers don't normally have credit card readers so where exactly did you put your credit card? I'm guessing you either put it in the CD-ROM slot or possibly an ExpressCard slot. The ExpressCard slot isn't all that deep so you should be able to get it out, but if you put it in your CD slot that's a whole different problem. Honestly I'm not sure how you would get that out without totally taking the drive apart or risk damaging it by putting things in to get the card out.
- Q: hi, i have no trouble in the past with this. it is a micro sd card (2GB) w/ adapter. i plugged in my phone. works fine. i plugged it in my adapter and then sd card slot and the small green light on my hp a1210n pc won't even come on. is it the card reader?
- The SD card may be corrupt itself. Try a different reader, if it doesnt work, than my aforementioned statement has been confirmed. Get a new card, they are cheap. If you need to recover files, check online for freeware recovery programs.
- Q: i want to use my wiis sd card reader to transefer pics from the sd card to wii, ive tryed using wii message board or whatever but it only lets you send it to wiis so is there any other way to do this
- Are you putting pictures on your SD card from your computer and trying to put them onto your Wii? Make sure they are in .jpg format and use the Photo Channel, when viewing an image there will be a Post option to create a copy onto your Message Board. Are you trying to send pictures from your Wii to your SD card? I'm sorry, the Wii does not allow that action. Why? I have no clue, it was Nintendo's decision.
- Q: I am thinking about buying a magnetic card reader and i was wondering if it can read School id's and then program it to bring up a certain website? info will help please
- I've seen a regular card swipe reader that plugs into a USB port. You would have to open up Notepad or Word and then swipe the card, and you'll see the info on there. Only things I've swiped are Driver's License and a credit card, most of the info is easily seen but some is gibberish on the screen.
- Q: I have acer 5520 laptop and it have 5-in-1 kind card reader slot.I have pro-duo card but laptop card-reader slot is big for it.Please guide/help so that I can use that card reader slot for reading card directly. Thanks in advance,Ajit
- buy a card that fits.take the computer with you to radio shack or other place and tell then you need a card that fits your pc.
- Q: I have a 3.5 bay card reader in my computer with the typical inputs (MS, SD, CF, and so on). It has served me well over the years but I now have a big problem. I recently went out and bought an 2GB SanDisk SD2 card. The card works in my Canon PowerShot A540 as did the normal SD cardshowever, when I go to put it in my card reader, it will not read it. I'm assuming this is because SD2 is a different type of structure or format that the SD slot will simply not read. I know there are the typical portable card readers that will read SD2, but are there any internal (like my 3.5 reader) that will support the SD and SD2 card formats? If I have to I will get a portable type reader, though I don't like them but would like to know if there are any internal ones out there.
- I have never heard of an SD2 card and I do not see any references to such a card anywhere else online. There are SD cards and SDHC cards. However, SanDisk's website does not show any 2GB SDHC cards at the moment. SDHC cards can be read in an SDHC card reader, but not an SD card reader. SDHC card readers will read both SDHC cards and SD cards. The difference between SD and SDHC is that SDHC is formatted in FAT32, which allows for higher storage capacities. Looking at the specs for the A540, it looks like it doesn't take SDHC cards, so I have no idea what this SD2 card is that you're speaking of.
- Q: i entered the sony memory stick duo pro into my 5 in 1 memory card read into my acer aspire 5310 the memory stick is compatible with the card reader but when i put it in i cant get it back out i cant even find where to read it and ive look in the manuals all the books that cam with it and it only says what memory sticks are compatible ive tried pushin it so it pops out but it doesnt work does any one know how to get them out???
- Try grabbing the stick firmly and gently pull it out. If that fails, you have obviously put the stick in backwards. Open the side of your computer up. Ground yourself out so you don't ruin anything by placing your hand on the Power Supply or the side of your case for 30 seconds. Now, reach towards your 5-in-1 memory card reader and pull the card out from the other side. If it is an internal reader, you will have to take the card reading piece out all together and take it apart with a screwdriver, but that shouldn't be too hard. It just slides right out from your computer after you unhook the cords which connect to the Motherboard and PSU. Goodluck.
- Q: I have a 4GB SDHC card and I used to always use it with my laptops internal reader, so I know that works. I got another SDHC Card 4GB and plugged it into the same reader and it didn't show up, I tried using my old card that had previously worked and now that does not show up either. Any clues how to fix this or I have just busted my internal reader? I also use XP in case that helps. Neither of them were locked/ are locked either. They work in my cameras just not my laptop.
- Click start, right click on My computer, then click properties. Next go to the hardware tab at the top, then click device manager. Click the plus next to disk drives, right click on your media card reader and click uninstall. Now restart your computer, make sure you have no card in the slot, and after your computer is restarted and installed the driver, try putting your sd card in again.
- Q: Why is the charger hot?
- So there is basically no PFC circuit, so the power factor is only less than 0.7, the rest of the energy is basically converted into heat.
- Q: Confused ?
- A 9 in 1 USB Card Reader implements the use of various memory cards such as: xD Picture Card, SD Memory Card, MultiMedia (MMC), Memory Stick, Memory Stick Pro, Memory Stick Duo, Smart Media, Type I/II CompactFlash, and IBM Microdrive. The device makes it possible for the computer to read and load and store files to and from the computer via the USB Card Reader. Edit: They don't help in editing photos. They make those so that you can put photos/videos/programs from your digital camera/PSP/GPS/whatever, onto the computer. You will need video editing software to edit photos. P.S. - I can't reply to emails, because it sends me a failure notice whenever I do.
