FAQ:
Q1: Are electronics cheap in Okorder.com?
A: Of course. They are very cheap. The factories provide the goods. One-stop sourcing.
Q2: Why are electronics so cheap in ok order?
A: On ok order they are the lowest price. Because it is a wholesale website and factory provide goods.
Q3: Do all electronics have silicon in them?
A: No but most modern ones do. Older electronics that don't require micro chips don't have to have silicon at all, and their mother boards are made from copper. Silicon is used in micro chips as a semi-conductor in modern electronics but some other semi-metals, like gallium and germanium can also be used. Silicon is just the most common because it is so plentiful.
- Q:I lost my micro SD card reader but then i bought a new card reader (just Card Reader not Micro SD card reader) and it didnt work.
- Yes it has to be a USB micro SD card reader. google .uk/search?qUSB+mic
- Q:i have several memory cards from a canon i bought years ago, well, i bought the rebel xti because i figured i'd save money on memory cards, i put it in, and the camera works fine. i plugged my Sandisk memory card reader in and my computer picked up that it was plugged in, but once i plugged in the card itself, my computer wouldn't read it anymore. i put in other cards, ones with pictures i took from another camera, and it worked fine. so i can only assume it has something to do with the camera itself or the files. can anyone help me out, is there anything i can do to make this work?if it helps, it's not really a rebel xti, it's the kiss digital x, which is the same thing. i know vista has problems with things, could it be vista, my computer has a built in reader, but it doesn't have a slot for the cf memory card. it only reads sd and smaller.(thats why i was using a different reader)
- You will have to have it fixed. Call Canon at 800-OK-CANON and ask for an estimate of what it would cost. Don't try to fix it yourself or you will just make it worse.
- Q:I am trying to download pictures onto my computer but whenever I plug my memory card reader with the memory card in it into my computer nothing shows up and it is not detected at all. i am using a lexar memory stick PRO duo any help?
- This Site Might Help You. RE: Dynex memory card reader not working.? I am trying to download pictures onto my computer but whenever I plug my memory card reader with the memory card in it into my computer nothing shows up and it is not detected at all. i am using a lexar memory stick PRO duo any help?
- Q:I was wonder cos i was thinking of getting a laptop, but i want to know if it have a PCMCIA slot for an exturnal modem or it is not much use of getting it.
- A PCMCIA (in reality a CardBus) slot hardware is shoved down your throat as a standard equipment for a laptop just as a floppy drive is shoved down your throat for a desktop. There is no card reader for it the way CompactFlash, SD, etc do. It make sense to get USB external devices instead PCMCIA cards if you have the option to, modem included.
- Q:I have an old like 2005 hp desktop and when I insert a memory card into the MMC/SD slot, the green light comes on.but nothing seems to change on the desktop. In order to post its contents on youtube or facebook, where would I find it in my folders? My computer? I don't see it.My Desktop?? I can't find it anywhere
- you purchased a great digital camera. i used to have one. I definitely have a kodak card reader that has 3 slots , one for sd, and a pair of for the different styles of enjoying cards. it works with all computers that have a usb port. bypass forward and setting up your application nonetheless. you somewhat did purchase between the final cameras obtainable.
- Q:I took some REALLY awesome pictures last night. I go and but my memory card in my card reader and its not reading my card. The little light on the reader is on, but my computer isn't reading it. If its any help im on XP and its an ECS card reader.
- Have you used the memory card in the reader before? if not it might be that the reader isnt compatable with the size of the card -I had same problem
- Q:HeyI am going to buy a HP TC1100 which comes with an SD card reader. This does not support SDHC cards.I was wondering if it is possible to upgrade the card reader to SDHC? Or does it require a better motherboard? Thanks
- MB's answer is good. That TC1100 is of 2003 vintage, so I really hope you don't plan to use this PC for any kind of heavy use or even video display.
- Q:I have an HP Pavilion with a built in card reader. A green LED light glows when it reads the card but it is not lighting up. I an trying to use an SD card. Is there a way to enable it?
- Ours is occasionally sensitive about that card slot, too. Sometimes we think it's because, mi esposa works outside a lot and has gotten some dust on the SD card she uses on the camera. All we've figured out to do is, carefully dust off the card (canned air) before inserting; make danged sure you're inserting it right. Sometimes, pulling it out and pushing it back in, gently of course, works. Ours no longer pops up with that little window about Whadya wanna do with this carddisplay it in a browser or download pictures orDo Nothing - you know the one). We've gotta pop it in and then go to My Computer and find it as a removable disk (drive E) and then find the files If all else fails, for about $30 you can pick up a little adapter that holds the SD card and lets you slide it into a USB port. I use that to read the cards on my Mac which doesn't have a slot like our HP does.
- Q:i have a built in card reader on my computer, when i plug anything in it freezes the My Computer window. AND when i keep the card in, my BIOS refuses to continue past the BIOS screen.i have windows XP home edition, i hated windows vista.and my computer is a Compaq Presario 2180NX
- Setup the BIOS defaults by pressing F10 immediatkey once you turn on the computer. You might need to download BIOS update for the respective moe but before doing that please contact the HP Phone Support to make sure if they've any other update. Long time, Hp computer had the same problem, if they connected any USB device such as Printers/AIO, it will not pass the HP Logo screen nd after doing the BIOS update it resolves.
- Q:Hi. I just bought a Targus USB Memory Card Reader/Writer. I did what it said and installed a device driver. It said I couldn't do anymore until I plugged in the device so it could read the disk. I did so and it did absolutely nothing. I went into My Computer and clicked on the new drive that showed up when I plugged it init said there was no disk. I am so confused and Ive been trying everything. I have the SanDisk microSDHC Card in the Adapter that I have in the Targus (TGR-SD20).When I did plug it in a USB port in the back of the computer, something popped up saying there was new hardware and that it was installed but even after that.nothing worked and it said nothing was in the hard drive even though it just said new hardware was found. If anyone knows what I can do to get this stupid thing to workplease let me know. Or should I go out and buy a new Card Reader/Writer? This one is driving me crazy!! Please helpThanks in advance to anyone who actually tries to help :)
- Inser the SD card into the drive Open Windows Explorer Select the files you want to copy and drag them onto the SD card icon in the explorer.
