Even with a reader, you need a merchant account to accept credit cards. Only a FOOL will consider using a card to pay someone they found on Craigslist or at a yard sale.

Q:i am looking for a USB SD card reader that will read 4GB cards (or higher). i'm running windows vista if that matters. i have tried 3 different card readers, 2 would read 1GB cards but none of them would read a 4GB card. please recommend a specific reader that will meet my needs! thanks!

What it sounds like is that you are asking where to find a card reader for SDHC cards (no SD card is over 2GB, the format doesn't allow it). Since you have Windows Vista installed, if your computer has an internal card reader, I would assume that it would be able to work with SDHC cards.

Q:I have a camera that only takes a mini scan disk. So I got a Verbatim disk reader. When I plug it in to my computer, it acknowledges that the reader is there, but not the disk. Long shot I know just thought i'd try anything before throwing away $20

Everyone has their own style. Personally I can't stand readers who use the Celtic Cross spread for EVERYTHING. I think that its OK to just pull some cards and not have each position mean something. If you're comfortable using the CC spread than that is fine. Tarot has foundations and rules but after that you can make it your own. I have found people who only use the CC spread usually has only been reading cards for a short while and think that's the only way to do a reading. Again nothing wrong with it, just that there is so much you can do with cards if you break out of the cc spread!

I guess your operating system is Windows 98 (not XP). If so I think you will struggle a bit to get a USB 2.0 device working even in the existing USB 1.1 ports. You might be best to get a USB 2.0 card for your PC to give you a high speed port, but make sure that you get one that can run under Windows 98. The cards are not expensive. The easier route is just to see if you can get hold of a USB 1.1 card reader.

Q:I used to have a Jessops Universal Card Reader and with that I was able to upload my pictures from my Olympus FE-220 Digital Camera. I have now lost it, but found out about a Jessops Smart Media Card Reader. Please can anyone tell me how it works? Is it the same as a Universal Card Reader? With that, all I had to do was put in the memory card from my camera and then connect it to my computer with a USB wire. Is this how it works? Thank you in advance

Sorry, but I'm not quite clear on your question as you seem to answer it yourself. If you have the card, then you need the reader. If you don't have a reader, you have to buy one. If you have to buy one, then look on the label and see if it is MAC OSX compatible - not greater than 10.4.11. As an fyi, these are mostly generic drives, I don't see a reason why any of these wouldn't work - even those that don't specifically say MAC OSX compatible.
