FAQ:
Q1: Are electronics cheap in Okorder.com?
A: Of course. They are very cheap. The factories provide the goods. One-stop sourcing.
Q2: Why are electronics so cheap in ok order?
A: On ok order they are the lowest price. Because it is a wholesale website and factory provide goods.
Q3: Do all electronics have silicon in them?
A: No but most modern ones do. Older electronics that don't require micro chips don't have to have silicon at all, and their mother boards are made from copper. Silicon is used in micro chips as a semi-conductor in modern electronics but some other semi-metals, like gallium and germanium can also be used. Silicon is just the most common because it is so plentiful.

Q:I hve a HP laptop running Windows Vista with an SD card reader slot in it. Whenever I insert an SD card the laptop makes the standard windows Hardware inserted sound then about 1.5 seconds later makes the Hardware removed noise. How can I fix this?
Try inserting the card when the laptop is off or after inserting the card then turn the laptop off and on again. Not sure of another way to fix it but it works for me as I have the same problem with one of my laptops.
Q:i have an HP g60 is new and it came with this card reader already in it. I have taken some videos with my digital camera and i have no clue how to make it work. I have inserted the card and then WHAT!?
Are you sure you inserted the card fully and in the proper slot? When you do, a window should pop up. You can always check under 'Disk Management' if necessary. (In the 'Run' tab, 'diskmgmt.msc'.)
Q:I desperately need help. I have a SANYO camera that I use to take videos. It's not a video camera. It's a picture camera that does take videos as well.Anyway, when I'm finished taking the video, I put the SD card that was in the camera into the card reader. The card reader was made by Targus, if that helps. Anyway, if I bring up My Computer and look into the drive and try to watch the video, it's full of lots of colors. There's no distinct images or anything. Just a lot of red, green, blue, purple, orange, etc. Like static. The audio work fine, though. I use my videos so I can edit them with Adobe After Effects. But when I put it into Ae (After Effects), it only shows the first frame, as if I had frozen it.But-- I recently download QuickTime player. If I open the video in QuickTime, it works fine. Before I downloaded QuickTime, I could watch the movie. Please help. It's very important.Info:Operating System: Windows Vista Home Basic
Firstly, this is NOT a problem with the SD card or reader. They are digital devices, as long as the device shows up in Computer and you can see the files, then the card and the reader are fine. The problem sounds more like a codec issue. A codec is used to decode and playback the movie. It sounds like Quicktime has taken over and installed a codec for that type of movie your camera captures. You just need to re-install the software that came with the camera, or un-install Quicktime. Quicktime is an obnoxious program, it infiltrates your system and attempts to be the single point of all media playback. Its intrusive and sometimes hard to get uninstalled. Its only advantage is, there are a few Apple videos that are Quicktime format that won't play in anything else. Other than that, there is no real need to have Quicktime installed. Unless you have a Mac, that is, and then its installed by default, I believe.
Q:I just purchased a card-reader, and of course, unfortunately, the ONE SD card I need to work on my computer is not recognized/non-compatible with my card-reader. Is there any way to make the Sony Memory Card compatible with the generic card-reader, or am I doomed to have to wait until I can afford a sony card reader? (I do not have the USB cables necessary, hence why I purchased a card-reader. The device is for a Sony Cybershot camera)I appreciate any feedback!
no you are stuck waiting on the right card reader. i sell the cards in question and they are a bit different than the standard SD card. its all good though cause when you finally get the card reader you need you will have a pretty good setup.
Q:I have a Toshiba, Windows Vista computer, and it as an SD card reader slot. Yesterday it was working fine, and now I'm in the car, it's kind of bumpy and I wanted to upload some pictured, and the little light comes on to say that the SD card has been inserted, then it goes off, but nothing opens. So I know it works because the light came on, but is it supposed to stay on? I never paid attention. and what do I need to do? It's nothing with the auto-play, I tried that, nothing appears in my computer, and it's quite frustrating! Thanks in advance. :)
your card reader is corrupted
Q:U disk and the difference between the card reader?
Card reader is only a transmission medium, the card reader must be placed, such as memory card can be enough information from the computer (PC) stored in the memory card reader, the reader itself does not have storage function.
Q:What are the disadvantages of the card reader?
External is less this problem, but to take up a USB socket.
Q:I get flustered by very little (most times). But I get really emotionally de-railed when I'm around someone claiming to be psychic. Any thoughts on that? I mean, it really causes something to well-up in me. Its rather unnerving.
Well I don't like to go there because I have a Bibical thing on Psychics and card readers.like the story about Endor the Witch Saul contacted.BUTmany moons ago my mother wanted to go to a card reader. She believed in them. I wasn't wild about the idea, however I agreed to go. The lady didn't really tell my mom much and she was disappointed. I go in and should have stayed out I guess. She did tell me through a grocery store encounter I would meet and marry a man called Jerry. I thought rightI lived in a small rural area and knew one guy named Jerry.younger, the dad of my son's friend. Well about a year rolled by this girl who worked at the local grocery store and I became friends.we went out on my bday with my cousin and then in March she invited us to meet her and her date at a dance in SA. Well guess what.her brother had just moved back from 20 years in California.his name Jerry. I looked at him and thought what the lady said, blew it off.we dated, a year and a half later we married. He died 2 years ago Sept 19 of Cancer. Well that wasn't the only thing the lady told me.she said my mom would die at the age of 69 and so would I. Not quite two years before my mom turned 69 she was diagnosed with terminal colon cancer. I ask her if she remembered what that woman told me and how she knew? Well she was wrong mom turned 69 on July 31, and didn't die until Sept. 26 at age 70.but it was almost too close for comfort. As for me, I die when I die.and maybe she's right and maybe she's wrong. I don't go to them anymore and have no desire to. Some things are simply best unknown.
Q:I have an HP Pavilion with a built in card reader. A green LED light glows when it reads the card but it is not lighting up. I an trying to use an SD card. Is there a way to enable it?
Ours is occasionally sensitive about that card slot, too. Sometimes we think it's because, mi esposa works outside a lot and has gotten some dust on the SD card she uses on the camera. All we've figured out to do is, carefully dust off the card (canned air) before inserting; make danged sure you're inserting it right. Sometimes, pulling it out and pushing it back in, gently of course, works. Ours no longer pops up with that little window about Whadya wanna do with this carddisplay it in a browser or download pictures orDo Nothing - you know the one). We've gotta pop it in and then go to My Computer and find it as a removable disk (drive E) and then find the files If all else fails, for about $30 you can pick up a little adapter that holds the SD card and lets you slide it into a USB port. I use that to read the cards on my Mac which doesn't have a slot like our HP does.
Q:I just bought a casio ex-z70, and I bought it with no charger and no usb cable plug. It took me about a week to finally find a casio charger. and now i cant find a usb cable plug. Instead I found a memory card reader, but i was wondering what it was and if it worked like a usb plug. Will it transfer all my pic. to my computer?
It is a device that is either connected externally or internally to the computer. The device typically has multiple card card types often used in cameras. Most digital camera use a small card that is like a miniature floppy-disk, but can hold much more. The cards store the pictures or videos produced by a digital camera or video camera. The card is then removed from the device and inserted into the card reader. It is similar to inserting a floppy disk into a floppy drive, but the card holds more data.
