- Q: I have this bathroom vanity light that was given to me by dads friend who owns a lighting company. It is a really nice lighting fixture that attaches to my bathroom mirror. There is one problem I have with it one of bulbs broke the glass piece that covers it. I think what happened was the bulb got so hot that it broke it. I glued but back but the heat from the bulb burned the glue and now the whole lighting fixture looks like crap and I want to replace it, however I am not sure what type of lighting fixture will attach to the mirror. Is there something special I have to look for. Any help Thanks
- This is kind of confusing.. Why does the fixture need to attach to the mirror? If it is a strip light kind of fixture, it does not attach to the mirror, but it attaches to the wall above the mirror. Some are mounted to the wall on each side of the mirror. I have never heard of one attaching to the mirror, but I am sure they exist somewhere. Go broswing for a new one at Home Depot, and the instructions in the box should tell you how to mount it

- Q: This is a two part question but both are sorta related:1. My bathroom vanity lights have 4 seperate lights but one recently quit working & its not the bulb... all the other lights work fine but this one just quit? What would you recommend to fix it?2. The celing fan lights in my living room & my sons room dont work (sorta)... the fan works fine but the lights wont unless you jiggle them around a bit but wont stay on if you are not jiggleing them, almost like there is a bad connection between the socket and the bulb. - It sounds like you sorta got a collection of sorta failed bulb-holders. The springs in these sorta go weak after a while and, especially in difficult locations like damp bathrooms and vibrating ceiling fans, they can go sorta intermittent sorta. You should isolate the power and replace the failed bulb holders. These are not usually difficult (sorta).

- Actually, a 48 vanity takes a 49 vanity top. Most Home Depots or Lowes have these, but you might have to special order a double bowl style. FYI that's pretty close together for two people, most double bowl vanity tops go on 60 vanities

- the only problem that i can think of,is,u may loose space and some doors,other then that ! get the dresser in the bathroom,line up the water pipes and drain etc, if u allready pick the sink up!set the sink fase down on top of the dresser and trace it with a pencil ,after u do that ,go back 1/2'back and is where u need to make u circle or the cut to seat u sink on,also u can find new sinks than just a small hole need for the drain,cut the hole ,do u conections ,and enjoy it,good luck my friend ,hope to help u

- Totally. I had a custom woodworker (cabinet maker) build mine for exactly that reason. Bathroom was small, and I wanted to maximize space. All the standard options wasted a precious inch or four. He was able to build INTO the wall for a specialty deep medicine cabinet, too! Also, he did a one piece unit connected to the medicine cabinet for storage over the toilet. We did vanity DRAWERS instead of two doors, and he built them around the plumbing pipes. It worked out really well. And, I had a double outlet built inside the medicine cabinet for electric toothbrushes, etc. ETA: He did the counter tops too. He was sitting next to me checking out sink & faucet dimensions online when we were designing the project to get every inch and make sure it all worked together.
