My bathroom vanity lights have 4 seperate lights but one recently quit working & its not the bulb... all the other lights work fine but this one just quit? What would you recommend to fix it?2. The celing fan lights in my living room & my sons room dont work (sorta)... the fan works fine but the lights wont unless you jiggle them around a bit but wont stay on if you are not jiggleing them, almost like there is a bad connection between the socket and the bulb. - Q: I bought a double bowl vanity top for a bathroom remodel that has the 8" widespread holes pre cut. I really wanted a single handle faucet for the sinks. My brother suggested a kitchen style faucet that covers the other holes, but I was thinking of installing a soap dispenser on one side and a lotion dispenser on the other. I dont know what it would look like and I cant seem to find any images online. So, there would be a total of 4 built in dispensers and 2 single handle faucets on a 61" vanity. Is there any interior decorators out there that could give me some guidance or visual images? Thanks!!
- Most bathroom vanities have a much smaller spread (less than 5 inches) with a hole in the center for the drain linkage. If yours has 2 holes with an 8 inch spread (like a kitchen) I think it would look great. In fact, I wouldn't think twice about it. Go for it! Sorry I couldn't find any good examples. You should try some local plumbing supplies for catalogs they may have. Good luck Chris

- Is this for a Master Bath? I think before you purchase anything you should think about the space you have to work with. You could try for a similar look as the tradewindimport piece by crafting a vanity out of an inexpensive but strong wood and wrap the wood in mirror and set sink on top. I would search in your area for outlets that have discounted plumbing fixtures. As far as a mirror goes, I would look at art and frame shops, hobby stores, even tuesday morning, tj maxx, marshall's... sometimes you can find really good deals. May be fun to use a round mirror above a sharp contemporary vanity. Hope this helps! I have a degree in Interior Design and practiced 16 years before becoming a busy mom.
- Q: I am remodeling my master bathroom and I have already ripped out the old vanity and I'm about to put in the new one. The old vanity and top appeared to be of normal length (60'/61'), like the new pair I picked up at OKorders (I did a quick measure and it looked close, so I assumed it was of standard size). However, the geniuses who built my home built the space for the vanity (between a regular wall and a half-wall beside the toilet) exactly 60' wide. So while the vanity will squeeze in, the vanity top won't. I am thinking I will have to end up removing the half-wall, but I want to do as little work as possible. Is there a way to shave an inch off the wall? Anybody think of any ideas? BTW, the vanity top is a marble top, so I doubt I can shave an inch off that.....Thanks in advance.
