- Q:I used to always just take a towel to the beach and lying on the beach. but I always wanted to have a beach chair so I could sit and watch the ocean,read and enjoy and relax.I bought a little beach chair a few days ago and love it. Just I don't have a car and have to carry it. It has a bag though but it must be carried anyway.My mother says I just threw some money away. I like it a lot but hearingwhat mom says and knowing that I have to carry it, I'm just thinking maybe I have only wasted my money. What do you think?
- I prefer the chair. I can sit up and see the water or recline and sleep. The surface of the chair is smooth instead of lumpy like the sand. My chair has a cup holder so I can put my drink in it and it doesn't get sand all over it. The chair is just much better overall. As long as you don't mind carrying the chair on the bus, it was not a waste of money.
- Q:It is going to be lounging chair, for T.V. or something, though I am going to glue pieces of styrofoam together, then carve it out...with my *** grove, and maybe a cup holder or something...Though I have questions....1. I know styrofoam is not always going to be the strongest thing, so what should I use to re-enforce the strenght of this chair? - The fact that most people call it a chair! but if you want we can open a new web site and send messages to people all over the world not to call it a chair anymore. we could even ask the goverment to step in saying that the word chair is very rude and it would be politcally incorrect to use that word ever again. But i can guarentee that someone somewhere would still call it a chair. Thats what makes it a chair!!!

- Every chair is different so there isn't a pattern. Typically you have to make your own based of fitting the fabric to the chair, add stuffing and then tack it in place.

- chairs work on gravity and relaxation. bit taller with a longer seat that part of swings up. irrelivent we wouldn't have survived the sabre tooths.

- I have a great one by Evenflo. I suggest getting one that folds up (somewhat). Its helpful to be able to set it aside out of the way if you need to. Mine has a tray that you can put on and take off with only one hand. The seat cover is nice, and soft, but totally washable, both by hand and washing machine. It doesn't stain at all! I got it from Walmart for my baby shower a couple of years ago. I'm sure you can look on their website and find a similar one.

- The chairs that I am most familiar with are Pelton Crane, KaVo Dental-EZ. I'm not really sure which brands have the largest market share, but I'm sure that if you contact individual companies, they'll know! If you want to purchase a chair, contact your local dental dealer. If you want to work for a company selling chairs, go to the manufacturer's websites.
- Q:Chair came from the Blackrock Hotel in Cohasset, ma after it was demolished 40+ yrs ago. They are no signatures or dates on it.
- Hotel chairs are usually mass produced, so there will be thousands of them, unless they were custom to that hotel, then there were only a few. Further research will give you some sort of an answer. Or, find a high end antique store and ask their opinion as to the uniqueness of the chair.
