Q:I need to set up 'standard' chairs in various size circles. If I need only a few chairs (say less than 12), the circle is fairly easy to set up. But as the number increases beyond 20, to 30, 40, or more, the circle becomes increasingly less circular--that is, flat spots show up. For each person to be able to see every other person, flat spots are not good.
Maybe you could use a shape rather like a hexagon? But - and sorry if I've misread what you're planning to do - will the people you want to arrange have access to tables or similar? Is it the kind of event where you want them to take notes? Talk to one another? I don't know how long you're planning to keep them in the circle, but people tend to feel physically and psychologically uncomfortable if they have to sit for any length of time without any 'covering' in front of them. There's an optimum number below and above which this discomfort could become dysfunctional. The reason is that people feel (unconsciously, usually) that they're too exposed. Again, apologies if I've misread your purpose, but this phenomenon can derail the purpose of getting the group together.
Q:I just recently had my floors changed from carpet to parquet (that wood-looking surface). It looks great but I don't want the chairs for my dining table to scratch it up. What can I put on the legs of the chair to keep it from making that scratchy noise and messing up the parquet (something that looks GOOD [no tennis balls please])
You have gotten good advise here from the others. My sister just moved into a home with all wood floors. Before the movers even placed her furniture in the house, I was outside with rubbing alcohol and cleaned the bottom of all furniture and affixed self stick felt pads to every single leg on each piece of furniture. We bought fists full of these floor protectors and found that Scotch brand is the best for adhesion and thickness. Remember, in order for any furniture leg protectors to prevent your floor from scratching, you need to sweep the floor regularly to remove the grit which when left on the floor will get lodged under the felt and still scratch your floor. So, invest in a good broom.
Q:Which do you prefer (I'm betting I know at least one person who will go chairs)
This question, as simplistic as it seems, is really a hard one to answer. The table would be nice to set things on, such as computers, lamps, televisions, etc. but then again, those could sit on the floor, if need be. A chair is extremely nice for a woman like me who has aching muscles (fibromyalgia), plus who has the friend, Art (arthritis) with her, at all times. I guess I had better choose a nice comfortable chair. Thanks for the offer of one or the other. :o)
Q:There are several principle chair?
Thread principle:Equal to a right angled triangle, with a right angled edge, horizontal, and sloping, corresponding to the thread.Swivel generally divided into half and two swivel chair. Half chair is able to rotate 90 degrees around the front. The chair is able to rotate 360 degrees to the chair.Usually: head, back, chair, armrest, supporting rod (gas bar), shaft, five claws, claw wheels.Swivel classification:The swivel chair can be divided into categories according to the applicable occasions: work chair, staff chair, chair, chair.
Q:I am getting married in September. It is an outdoor wedding in a garden. I have had a couple people suggest to me that I do not even use chairs for guest, only set up a limited amount for the people that are unable to stand. I would estimate we have invited about 200 guests or so but the garden is a very large site so they will have plenty of room. The ceremony should only last about 15-20 minutes, but I am still having doubts about everyone standing. Is it rude to make them stand around?
I agree with the first poster, I would be very angry if I had to stand. How would you feel if you went to a party expecting to sit and were forced to stand? Not to mention, how do you decide who gets the chairs? Maybe someone has an issue you don't know about. I think it would turn into a big fight over the chairs, and people would not enjoy themselves. Even if the ceremony only lasts 15-20 minutes, people will most likely show up early, the ceremony may not start on time, and what about how long it will take everyone to get out afterwards? That would turn into a lot longer than 15-20 minutes. I vote no.
Q:Okay, So if any of you have seen the 'True Life' episode (I Have Embarrassing Parents), I want my room to be like Niki's room..If you haven't, her room has a light blue color on the top part, white chair railing in the middle, and a brownish color on the bottom..My question is..Do you think that would look good?Do you have any pictures that match my description?I can't find any..Also, around how much does chair railing cost?Is it hard or easy to install, if I don't have it?Thanks.!
She is purely attempting to do away with crumbs. In our residing domicile, we devour the area ever we pick. i'm ingesting interior the computer room surprising now and my husband is ingesting on a tray in front of the television. We never did the classic dinner on the table component whilst our son become with us the two till finally we had distinctive persons over.

Q:My mother in law got a chair for my baby shower. I had invisioned a regular baby shower chair with a round high back.. instead she brought a beat up old Wicker rocking chair. I don't know how to tell her nicely I don't like the chair and don't want it for my baby shower. She didn't even ask do you like it or of it would be ok at the shower She insisted I'm going to decorate it at the party. I don't want to be rude or sound ungrateful but the thing is hideous. Any suggestions on how to let her down nicely
a baby shower chair? lol you're only gonna be sitting in it to open gifts right? u aren't taking it home or anything! I didn't even get a special chair for my baby shower!
Q:In the clubs and stuff there are like huge couch like things and obviously the chairs connect to make it, right?I have looked several times, but I can't find them in buy mode. This is the only picture I could find in like 5 minutes lol.

Q:Hi, I'm wanting to drape a wing-back arm chair with some fabric rather than reupholster it, and I'm not sure how to get the measurements for it. Could someone help me? Thanks!
a fail proof way to get an idea of how much fabric you will need: Take a tablecloth and drape it over the chair. This will give you a feeling of how much fabric you will need. If the tablecloth is too big, buy less fabric than the table cloth measurements and vice versa. I realize this is not a professional way to measure, but for the layman, it is a great way to get the spacial measurement needed.
