2. What is the delivery time after we paid the deposit?

- Why soak them? All normal tiles have a glazing on them and the glaze finish can be different to test the different stuff you want to test on them. You have bright glaze , matte glaze satin glaze. Some stone tiles with no glaze on them at all that might stain . Some stones you can seal w/a sealer to see how that works. Go to your local mom and pop type flooring store and tell them this is a school project and ask if they have any spare tile to give you. We helped many school projects over the years . - The tiling alone will cost more than $520.20 but you don't say if the tiling refers to the tile alone or the installation too. (12 X 15 X #2.89 =$520.20) Also you must figure into the amount of tile you will need things like breakage, corner or edge cut tiles, if you want tile baseboards to match the floor and patterns. You should conservatively consider about 10% to 20% more tile will be required as overage. You will also have to consider the cost of renting or buying a tile cutting tool, either a wet-saw or a score-and-snap cutter.

- Q: I was cleaning a house today, and I accidentally dropped a few drops of bleach on a earth colored ceramic tile. The lady wants me to fix it, but the local carpet cleaners/tile guys want to charge me too much. Is there a way to repaint the tile? Or to strip away the bleach?
- The tile should have been sealed, and then re-sealed every year by the people at the carpet store - you are not responsible for her not maintaining her house. I understand that probably doesn't help you - the short answer is - the tile is cheap and painted/stained not all the material dyed to match. You may be able to fix it by using a similarly colored Porcelain stain, or other stain type - just be very careful that you don't get stain on the grout - and once the tile is stained make sure it is sealed.

- This does not matter true and false friends, that is good or bad, the market are generally brick tiles in Guangdong, the quality of this brick can, but do not buy Shandong, the quality of the poor. - Q: I need to take a tile that is on the wall under my bathroom sink cabinet to use it to replace some visible tiles. I know it‘s possible to remove the old damaged tiles, but obviously I don‘t want to damage the ones that I‘m going to use to replace the bad ones.
- Possibly easier solution: look for some decorative tiles that would go ok in the place of those damaged ones... just a few to randomly place as accents (of course, this depends on where the broken tiles are). Possibilities include glass tiles, contrast tiles, patterned tiles, and embossed tiles, as well as tiles matching in tone but of a radically different texture. If you want to see how a particular tile might look on the wall in advance, take a digital photo of each tile you're interested in, resize to life size) and tape prints over each tile you want to replace. Yes, you can do as you propose. My experience with removing tiles for re-use are that I seem to get between a 40 and 70% yield of useable tile when I try to salvage 4x4 tiles. Depends on how good the initial mastic was.

- Are you talking about vinyl squares or Laminate flooring that snaps together? It makes a big difference. If it is vinyl squares Home Depot does have a huge selection, but it will look cheap and that stuff does not stick very well for long term in a very wet area. If it is laminate flooring it will look nicer and will hold up to the moisture better. You will need to caulk the perimeter with silicone. (water on top is o.k. water under the floor and its all over very quickly.) Hope this helps
- Q: 2nd bathroom, rarely used. Not sure if I want to spend the time to remove the tile (200 sq ft) or just put a think underlayment over it and then laminate.Anything that I should be concerned with doing it this way?
- You don t say if its vinyl tile or ceramic tile. Vinyl tile the floor change is minimal and no problem. Doing it over a ceramic tile you may have a transition concern at the doorway. Other than raising the floor height, which I assume you realize, there is no concerns as long as the flooring down now is flat, solid and level, it ll be fine.
