- Q:How in the world do you do a bench press or a lunge?
- There are various forms for bench. I use a more power-lifter style, which brings in the triceps much more than the shoulders, and is much better on your joints over-all. Your grip should have at least one finger on the outer rings of the barbell, unless you're pretty tiny. I usually have my ring finger on them. Lift off, then somewhat quickly lower down to your lower chest/solar plexus area, then press off hard and fast like your life depended on it. Other forms include bringing it to mid-chest, closer/wider grips, and slow down/slow up. To do a lunge: step out forward and bring your rear knee almost to the ground. Your lead knee should not go past your toes. Then, use your lead leg to raise yourself back up.
- Q:What free weight should I buy? I want to work on toning and building my arms, chest, and buttocks. I can't afford the gym and I'm on a budget. Also, does running help build muscle? I'm really skinny I weigh 135 lbs and i'm 5'11. I'm 21. Should I purchase dumb bells or a bench press?
- bench press. because when you increase on your weight then you will have to buy a new set of dumbells but if you increase on bench press you'll only have to buy an extra 5 pounds of weight or w/e you want to increase by. dont worry about toning because if you weigh 135 pounds at 5'11 you would need to put on weight. toning will also come if you add muscle. i would recommend for you to get a bench press and protein powder.
- Q:I've had this problem for a long time, after I have to shut down by pressing the power button (Or because there is a power failure) my computer starts up again, goes into loading screen, and then goes into a black screen with options like Last Good Configuration and Safe Mode. I don't usually have to turn off my computer by switch, but it does come up one time or another, and it doesn't happen the first time, maybe 5 times or 4. I run an XP, Please help! Is it because of pressing the switch or is it something I did before? I don't think it's virus though.
- If there is an improper shutdown (ie you pressing the power button to shut down your computer) it will always come up with that screen when you restart the system. If you know the reason that it shut down (like you pressed the power button) just start the system normally. If the computer did something like The Blue Screen of Death or Memory Dump and then shut down, then you have an issue with either the OS, your Ram, or your Hard Drive. Keep in mind, holding the power button to shut down your computer will eventually cause the computer to not start properly (or at all). Of course if you find that your system is stalling often to the point you need to press the power button to shut it down, it means there are most likely some underlying problems with your computer that you should have checked. *** UPDATE FOR YOUR UPDATE *** It sounds like you haven't had a fresh copy of windows installed on your computer for some time. What I usually recommend to my customers (I own a computer company) is when they start to notice problems occurring on the computer to backup the data they need and to format and reinstall windows. I do A LOT of things on my computer, so I tend to format/reinstall every 6 months or so. After you format and reinstall you'll notice the following things: a) Your computer will run MUUUUUCH faster then before you formatted it. b) The computer will have more available hard drive space. c) The computer will be more responsive. d) And the important thing, it won't crash as much! :-) But like I said, when you format you will lose everything on your computer, so remember to back up everything you don't want to lose. You can either burn it on a CD/DVD, or buy a USB Memory Stick to store your data (which is what I use). If you need anymore help, feel free to message me.

- Anything with a pressing motion will hit the chest and triceps muscles. If you are looking to work your biceps, do motions where it involves pulling.

- LOL. Using a cookie press is a two-handed operation. I grew up on, and still use, a manual cookie press. You probably need that third trigger shot. The dough needs to make contact with the cookie sheet. You sort of feel it with the hand opposite of your cookie press hand. Temperature also plays in the equation. If the dough is too cold, it will not stick on the cookie sheet. Good luckl.
- Q:I'm new at pressing my mac pigments. I recently bought a bunch of mac pigment samples. I have two of each color with eaxactly 1/4 tsp in each. I read that your supposed to press with 3/4. Is it okay to press with less than 3/4?
- Hi! Yes, definitely. You don't have to have exactly 3/4 tsps for it to work. 3/4 tsp might be the measurement needed to fill an eyeshadow pan, if that's where you're pressing your pigments. But then again, it's up to you if you want to fill the pan or not. You don't actually have to be very scientific about pressing pigments. Basically, keep dropping a few drops of 91% alcohol, mix it, and once it gets to the point that it's the the mixture holds/clumps together (you don't want it to be runny, and you'd know if it's still dry). If you put too much alcohol, you shouldn't worry b/c it dries up anyway. It just makes it hard to shape and press it. That's why the key is to put a few drops of alcohol at a time. There's really no exacty # of drops to # of teaspoons of pigments. I've pressed a LOT of pigments myself, and I don't even measure how much I use. Just be sure that after pressing it (press it firmly!), leave it open to air dry :)

- No, Bench Press uses different muscle. The majority of the power comes from pectoral muscle, deltoids, triceps. Pull Ups only involve your back muscle aka Latissimus Dorsi ===========EDIT============ WOW, WORKING OUT DOES NOT STUNT YOUR GROWTH. Unless you take steriods. Check my source if you don't believe it.
