- The charger will accept whatever current is necessary from the solar panel up to 7A. It's not like the solar panel will force 2amps into the charger/battery -- the charger will control the current going to the battery. I question whether or not the 2V panel will actually charge the battery, though, because in order to charge a standard lead-acid 2V battery you need to have about 4.5 volts applied to the terminals. Perhaps the charger has a boost circuit -- I don't know without looking at it or knowing the brand/model number, etc. The timer must be 2VDC, but, if you only have a timer that is rated for 20VAC, you can buy a small inverter that will take 2V and supply the necessary 20VAC. An inverter rated for 20 to 50 Watts should be sufficient. These usually cost under US$25. .
- Q:Ok so i have to solar panels to charge a battery however the panels hooked up in series does charge the battery very slowly because series connections only multiplies the voltage but leaves the current the same. - No. You can only hook them up as one or the other. Attempting to do both would simply short circuit the panels and you'd get no output at all. Your panels should produce an open circuit voltage in full sun that is almost twice the voltage of the battery you want to charge (it's because solar panels produce the most power at their maximum power point, which is usually about 60% of the open circuit voltage). If a parallel connection does that, then use it, otherwise you'll need to use series. You didn't say what the capacity and voltage of the panels or the size of the battery was. It's quite possible you don't have enough panel - you need panels that will put 5% (at least) of the ampere hours capacity of the battery in as current. For example, if you have a 00 amp-hour battery, you'll need enough panel to put 5 amps in at the voltage of the battery. DK

- I used this youtube video to help me build a 2 volt system. I used this video to build a magnet motor attached to a car alternator, I used an old Ford alternator because they are cheap, then put in the voltage reguialtor that I took out of the same car. I then hooked that up to 6 2 volt batteries in series, then I used 4 500 watt inverters, I got it going about 2 weeks ago, I am waiting to how efficient it will make everything, I also do not have my entire house on it. So far I have hooked up my fridge, deep freeze, 52 plasma tv, and washer. I have not hooked anything else into it yet. I have no idea if it has enough power to turn on full load, like I said I am still toying with it, but it seems to be doing fine.
