Fire Rated Cable Mica Fire Resistant Cable Can Pass IEC60331 BS6387C.W.Z AS/NZS3013 WS52FIRE TEST

Q: ok so i'm building a high gaming computer. my question is i'm a getting a Full moduler power supply my question is do i have to buy the cables for power does the componets i buy come with them??? oh and by the way just curious what happens if you touch thermal paste with your finger???
Your power supply will come with a standard assortment of cables to supply power to various components ASSUMED to be in your system. But you will want to read reviews of your chosen power supply before you buy it to find out what (specific) cables are included. Most modular power supplies will have the right cables for motherboard and hard drives and optical drive. The connections you need to pay attention to are the PCI-Express cables. High-end video cards will need at least one power connection. Some video cards need TWO power cables for EACH card. If you plan to run multiple cards, you could need 4, 6 or even 8 PCI-Express power cables! So you need to think ahead to decide how many (maximum number) of video cards you will want to install in the system. Then figure out what specific model. Then add up the number of PCI-Express power cables needed by type. Such as: (2) six-pin plus (2) eight-pin. Now you are ready to read reviews of your chosen power supply to see if it has the right cables included. Thermal paste often contains heavy metals. So it's not good to touch it with your finger. But momentary contact is not a problem, as long as you wipe it off and/or wash your hands shortly afterward. The main problem with touching thermal paste (with finger or otherwise) is that you don't want to remove too much of it from the heatsink/CPU area...or it won't cool properly. In general, don't touch it with your finger. But if you do, it's not a big deal. Just don't leave it on your skin for very long.
Q: will my PSone power cable work on my ps2?
I don't own a PS2 so... I don't know. But probably not. Why not just try it out? Or ask a friend to try it out? :|
Q: I'm looking to add another Light fixture on the other side of the garage, and wire it using the existing cable from the first light, I know running a normal power cable outside drywall is against code, but I've heard some people say you can use something like BX cable, or some metal encased cable outside of drywall and still be up to code? Is there a I can run this cable outside of the drywall using something like that, and if yes, what exactly would I need to use to accomplish this? I plan I running the wire from the right side of the garage door, up above the door, and to the left side of the door to install a matching light.
Plastic grey conduit is the way to go easy to work with just need a hack saw and some glue
Q: i want to use a 120 vac extention cord wire for the power cable to my amp, is this safe? extention cords have a heavier gage than the wire in radio shack and such and is much cheaper. i dont see why this would be a problem considering car batteries are only 12 volts vs. 120 volt extention cord raiting
HAAAAAA HAAAA HAAAA! No really, come on! Yes this will work. As long as the current required doesn't overload the wire. Meaning that you will have to have a heavy enough guage wire to handle the load. Otherwise,,,,,meltdown. Now I would highly discourage the use of home electrical wire for the purpose of car audio. You need a good clean, true source of power to feed your amps. It's your system, but the weakest link will always rear it's ugly head when you least expect it. My advice.....Drop some cash and get the right stuff the first time. Otherwise you WILL be doing it over again.
Q: what wattage do you need, how many power cables going into the graphics card and what type etc
400-500 watts will be fine. I ran mine on a 430 watt antec for about 18 months just fine. FYI - it did run fine on a generic 350 watt PSU for a couple weeks also. You will be fine with 34 amps or more on your 12 volt rail(s). You need 1, 6-pin, PCI-E power cable, or an adapter that comes with most cards to convert 2, 4-pin cables to 1, 6-pin cable.
Q: So I have a subwoofer in my trunk and was wondering if I could use the big power cables (coming from my battery) going into the amp (which is a JL Audio JX1000) to power some LED's that I want to install. My plan was to cut out a small section of the rubber sheath (or whatever you call it) from each power cable and put the clamps from a power inverter on them, then plug my LED's into the power inverter. After putting the clamps on I would use electrical tape or something to cover any exposed areas of the cable. Would this work? If it does work, which color clamp (black/red) would i put on which cable? One says quot;groundand is blue and the other says quot;+12VDCand is red. Also I have a toggle switch near the driver seat to cut the power from the amp so the LED's won't be left on after the car is turned off. Let me know if I'm leaving out any further information needed to answer my question.
You okorder /... Your power inverter, I am not sure what kind of cabling it will require for it to be powered properly as well. Ground is usually connected to Black. And +12v is usually Red.
Q: hi i need some extra help in looking for a power cable for my pioneer kuro tv cable iv looked in OKorder and on pioneer and no joy does anyone have any ideas where i could get one please any help will be gratefully received thank you
It should be one of a couple standard styles. Electronics stores should have them.
Q: I don't know what to do. I bought a monitor from someone on OKorder over a month ago. He said the person who packaged the monitor accidentally put my cables in the box with another monitor he sold to someone else. For a month now he's been quot;trying to find a solution. He said he looked at electronics stores, but never found anything. I already paid a lot for the monitor, and can't afford to buy the cables again. (because I already bought them with the monitor from this guy...)WHAT CAN I DO?
Demand a refund and buy another monitor with cables...
Q: I have been given a Toshiba flat screen tv - the product type is 20VL44G however the power cable has been lost. Does anyone know where I can get a replacement from as I have Googled this and cannot find anything? I am in the UK, thank you all.
check the specs on the back of the tv. There could be some listings such as vdc or volts... or something like/close if not 20-Zoll/51cm call a tv repair person. but now that I'm looking at a pic of this square tele... are you sure that it isn't a self-powered tv?
Q: I want to order a small 100 watt amp and needed to know if it can get powered by the head unit by connecting it with the rca cables.. thanks..
The RCA cables do not supply power to the amplifier; they just carry the audio signal from the head unit to the amp. Your amplifier, regardless of its power rating, will need power and ground connections in addition to the RCA and remote outputs from the head unit.
