Uses of fabric duct expansion joint :
Fabric expansion joints are used in place of metal expansion joints to resolve problems with thermal and mechanical stress inherent in some metal expansion joints. They are for use on on Boiler Ducts, Air Preheater Ducts, Precipitator Ducts, Scrubber Ducts, Kilns and Fan Ducts. Principal industrial users of fabric expansion joints are Power Generation plants, Paper and Pulp Mills, Steel Mills, Refineries, Cement Plants and Incineration Plants.
Fabric expansion joints offer a greater ability to handle axial, lateral, torsional and angular movements. They also offer superior corrosion resistance and drastically extend the life of the expansion joint.

- If it happens again, listen carefully. The one thatis causing the problem will sound different from the others. Take a vacuum cleaner hose to it. Probably it is dirty.

- Is the leak under the tub, in the pipes or fittings between the pump and the pipes, requiring it to be drained and turned on it's side to fix? If so, the movements in doing that can certainly cause other fittings and seals to shift in position or be torqued to a condition that causes them to leak when its placed back down and refilled. If I were you, I would empty the tub and set it on end and go over every connection in the pipes carefully looking for evidence of cracking in the material in the joints, etc. You could try to test the pipes while the tub is on it's side, by using a plug on every output but one, and then a hose into one pipe, providing some water pressure in each segment of piping. If the leak is in the tub itself, and not the pipes or the pump under the tub, you can do the same effort, looking closely and carefully for leaks, patching the ones you see. then lift the tub up onto some concrete blocks that allow you to support it enough to fill it up, but still see underneath. then fill it and watch for leaks until you are confident they are all cured. Then drain, set back down in position off the blocks carefully, not twisting or banging it around, and refill again. Good luck!

- If they're standard pipe sizes and the join is purely functional then why not a standard compression fitting from a plumbing hardware store? If you want it to look better then you could insert one pipe inside the other and glue the overlap together- an expoxy should bond to both or silicone sealant for a more flexible bond If you have workshop tools, you could try threading the ends and bolting them together with o-rings to seal What is the fluid to be carried, how permanent a join and what environment will it operate in all need to be defined to give a better answer really!

- Most garbage disposals have two pipe/tube fittings. The smaller one is for intake from the dishwasher, if any, about a 5/8 OD tube sticking out a few inches. You can get a universal multi-sized adapter to make that work. if using it, just make sure you remove the knockout plug in the unit (read the instructions). The bigger pipe goes on the side where the two bolts go, generally a 1 1/2 OD tube (NOT 1 1/2 pipe, which is bigger) - this is the drain to be connected to the rest of the under-sink drain pipe. Depending on your overall installation, you may need a garbage disposal elbow that makes a fairly sharp 90 degree turn down from the side of the machine, or a straight-out tube - used for more than this, and called a tailpiece, available in several lengths. Just get the long one (12), as you can cut off what you don't need. Either way, also make sure to have that special fat, slotted gasket to pop on to the flanged end of the elbow or tailpiece where it bolts to the machine. (This makes more sense in a good hardware store.) Since you're replacing a previous machine, rather than a completely new install, you're almost done. Just stay with standard kitchen 1 1/2 OD stuff all the way.

- Ask to see the pedigree, akc papers, if they have been tested for genetic problems, how they are trained, how they are socialized, what kind of food they are fed, when they recieve shots etc. Also if you want to breed him, ask if that will cost more because some breeders charge more if you will be breeding it. You want a puppy that is socialized around a lot of people and children from the beginning, raised in the house, not in a kennel, preferably genetically tested (especially if you will be breeding the dog). - Exhaust piping is commonly made up of carbon steel . You can get carbon steel exhaust piping with and aluminzied coating which tends to protect it from corroding to soon. The next level is 304 stainless which has even better corrosion resistance due to the lower carbon content. On the high end is 314 and 316 stainless. To check the property of the metal stick a magnet on it . If it is carbon steel or aluminized steel the magnet will stick to it. If it is 304 , 314, 316 the magnet won't stick. Dont use a oxy/act system if you are not experienced with it . You will end up torching your car. Use a sawzall / reciprecating saw aloneg with safety goggles for the eyes. Once you figured out your design take the pipe to a muufles shop and have them expand the ends . They will charge you around $20 . Long term savngs compared to the oxy/act system . Its old skool. Plasma cutters are the in thing now

- (1) enough strength well if you want more water to go though the pipe, you can increase the pressure, thus if the pipe is to thin it will break (2) a large cross-sectional area. well if you want more water another way is to increase the pipe size (3) enough length to conduct the flow not sure what they are asking on this one but i guess if you have 2 inches of pipe it really doesn't do much does it. (4) a sufficient drop. the drop means water pressure, greater the pressure the more water will flow.
