Yep. Get a least a 5Lb. ABC (Multipurpose dry chemical) with a metal head and a vehicle bracket and mount one in your trunk. I carry a 10 Lb. ABC in my car, and I have personally put out a number of car and tire fires with the unit. my dad was struck by lightning while playing baseball, and he says it just knocked him and everyone he was playing with down. i know it sounds wierd, but there you go. my 7th grade english teacher got struck by lightning twice, and he seemed pretty normal. he had to get steel rods in his spine though.
