Q: How does the phone set off for the specified person?
First of all, my setting is the call interception back I have stopped.
Q: Hi i have been doing some research into mobile phones and i came across a few terms that really confused me, i understand that when you talk on the phone the data is converted from your voice into digital signals, the part i dont understand is where modulation such as PSK occurs and how TDMA and CDMA fits into all of this can someone tell me what the relation is between these things.thank you
There are a few parts to a mobile phone system: most obviously you have the radio interface, some kind of two way radio link between the handset and the 'base station'. This transmitts and recieves digital data using quadrature phase shift keying (PSK). This is a kind of modulation very similar to FM, but is used with digital signals rather than analogue signals. So the digital data is used to phase shift modulate an RF carrier which is then transmitted, and picked up by the base station, which then demodulates the PSK signal to recover the digital data. This is all very well and good, but what do we do when we have many users? How can the base station distinguish between the signal from one hand set and another? This is where Time Division Multiple Access (TDMA) and Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) come into play. TDMA (used in GSM systems) is a kind of time division multiplexing. Each user gets a certain 'time slot' in which they are allowed to transmit their PSK signal in. So each user takes a turn and sends a few bytes at a time. In GSM there are 8 time slots (I think, i cannot recall exactly) in each channel (frequency). The bit rate is low and special vocoders are used to get voice audio into a low bit rate. CDMA works differently, on principles originated by an Austrian actor (and electrical engineer and mathematician!) Hedy Lamarr
Q: How to send an email to a blackberry mobile phone?
Send the email to the person's email address as usual. They will receive a copy of it on the Blackberry or any other phone which is set up for receiving emails. The email will also be available to read on whatever computer they normally use.
Q: I curently have a virgin mobile kyocera loft. Ive had it for 8 months i was wondering if i could upgrade my phone to a smartphone for lower than the original price.
Dude, virgin mobile's phones are already cheap enough and you want a lower price on it? Besides, virgin mobile's phones are usually have no contract since its a prepaid plan so there is no 2 year contract and without a 2 year contract, then no discount.
Q: I have MSN messenger 4.1.9 on my mobile phone (already installed with phone) I just started using. My question is thishow do I appear offline to my contacts (or only a select few) ????
it depends on the phone you are using . But some of the messenger software on phones don't have appear offline option. If you can be more specific about the model / make of your phone i bet more people can help you.
Q: If I were to go to a T-Mobile store, and buy, say a Samsung Galaxy Note 3, for FULL price, could I use it with another carrier like ATT, or Straight Talk?Do T-Mobile phones come unlocked since I did buy it full price?
If I were to go to a T-Mobile store, and buy, say a Samsung Galaxy Note 3, for FULL price, could I use it with another carrier like ATT, or Straight Talk? ------------ no…. tmobile wont sell you’re a phone at full price no matter how much you beg them Do T-Mobile phones come unlocked since I did buy it full price? ---------- no, contract, subsidy, or full price still means its locked. 1) Wireless Carrier stores, called CORS (company owned retail stores), do not sell phones at full price to non-customers. Either you are already a customer of theirs…. Or…. plan on being a customer of theirs in the next 10-15 minutes. Lmao 2) Branded wireless carrier phones sold at Full Price (499-699) on national retailer sotres and sites (walmart, amazon, radioshack, best buy) are locked to that carrier. You must call the carrier to obtain the unlock code. 3) Non-branded wireless carrier phones are sold ONLY by the OEM and are naturally unlocked, may/may not have additional hardware/software installed than basic wireless carrier versions, and are geared, mod’d more to developers and techs rather than the idiot sheeple of the general public. They are $699-$999…
Q: Can anybody tell me if any of these T-Mobile phones can go on the internet for free through a wi fi connection using a wireless router?Nokia 5310Nokia 5610Nokia 6301Blackberry Pearl 8100Blackberry Pearl 8120Motorola ROKR E8If anyone has tried any of these phones, do any of them have slow internet if they even have it, or do you get a pretty fast, decent connection, or does it just depend on how fast your internet and router is? I've checked the T-Mobile website and tons of other sites and still can't figure it out. If a phone has Hotspot @ home service, then does that guarantee that it can also go on the internet through a wi fi connection using a wireless router for free?
Are these all T-mobile branded phones? If so, going to the Tmobile website should yield you results for each phone. It will specifically say WiFi capable if the phone has such capabilities. Off the top of my head, the Blackberry Pearl 8120 is the only one I know that has WiFi enabled. The 8100 regular does not. Again, you would have to look at each phone specifically and see if it's capable. If these are phones 1year old or more, then chances are they are not. If they're not Tmobile specific phones, you would have to go to the provider's website and look it up. Even if they're not Tmobile phones, you can use WiFi. I have the Blackberry Curve and the internet isn't as FAST as the iPhone but it's still pretty fast. I don't have much waiting times, especially using WiFi. If you subscribe to the Hotspot thingy, you can use the WiFi pretty much in any Tmobile hotspot and the best part is if you make phone calls in those wifi areas, it's FREE. Yup. Doesn't count off your regular minutes plan. And yes it's a guarantee that you'll get wifi if you're subscribed, unless your router dies or something.
Q: I wanna replace my current t-mobile phone with a used one that I can just take the sim card out and put it in the used one.
I've t-mobile phone if you like one.
Q: Difference between mobile phone and smart phone
They're both almost the same, except smart Phones are mobille phones with alot more capacities other that calling, such as wi-fi antenna, office applications, other non-calling stuff.
Q: if a mobile phone is on a pay monthly contract, can the sim be taken out and a pay as you go sim put in. will the phone still work if the sim is still with the locked with vodophone or t-mobile ect?
hi,you can try your new sim card, sometimes a phone will be unlocked then it will work.if you want to use another sim and your phone is locked, you must get it unlocked,go to google and put unlock (your phone make and model) and alsorts of links will come up its up to you which way to do it.
