Go to any hardware type store (Home Depot) and buy wood epoxy.The directions are on the package .Very easy to mix this glue.It costs approx. $4 -- $6.oo max Apply to the hole and the leg and join them back together.Epoxy sets up fast so you should have everything together in a matter of minutes..By tomorrow your chair will be ready for Thanksgiving dinner.

Q:I was just wondering if many new mothers use their rocking chairs much? My mom told be she never did. But I am getting this nice Glider and ottoman. I think I will use it often.Do you have a glider or rocker?How often do you use your rocking chair? Do you love it or is it just there?

I had a little red wooden rocking chair with a cane bottom when I was little (wish I had it now!). And we also had a full-size rocking chair in the living room when I was growing up. After I married, I had a rocking chair to rock my babies in (priceless). Now I have a Lazy Boy rocker/recliner that I don't know how I'd get by without. It is so comfortable to lounge in while watching t.v. Nothing like it for putting my feet up and reclining back a little bit. But I sometimes just sit and rock a little instead when I read or work my Sudoku puzzles. I also have a natural finish wood rocking chair on my front porch that my son gave to me for Mother's Day a few years ago. It was very well built by the Amish. Rocking chairs are a great invention, I think....And God bless you too!

Glad I didn't miss this one, I am quite opinionated on this topic... thanks for waiting for me! Hardwood, fabric that can't be thrown in the washer should be avoided when adults are at play ; ) The best chair to be tied to is always one with wheels and that swivels, it keeps things mobile and positioning is a breeze - we are talking a 360 degree tied spin... fun fun! See the link, this is an pretty much an ideal chair and oh so practical looking... think no panties, plaid skirt, black lace bra and knee high stockings with pig tails and a smile! Hard wood is my preference regardless of the tying materials... after all pretty much all things involved should be hard or wet so back to the no fabric issue! Rather rope, shackles or satin ties are used a hard chair is the way to go here, slight padding okay as long as it is vinyl or leather. The slats should allow for a variety of rope positions! Now the only thing that is not ideal about this chair in particular is that the arms are not removable (versatility for other play settings) but since the question deals with being tied the arms on the chair are important. Remember when tying a girl up you should always leave the ability to use her hands - in a fixed position, but still usable, they are no good to you behind her back! Ohh and the rollers have no issue with carpet and yes I KNOW that ; )

Use furniture polish, the kind in the aerosol can. Spray it on and use a soft rag or a paper towel and wipe the polish off. If the chairs have areas where a paper towel can't reach, like if they are carved, use a paint brush that was sprayed lightly with the polish and clean those areas with that.

I just got the SAYL chair (herman Miller). there are many office chairs by commercia/corporatel manufacturers that are extremely long wearing. There are dozens of manufacturers-you can do a search for office... or look at some office oriented design magazines see who the chair manufacturer is.
