Q:Does T-Mobile have a phone similar to the HTC Evo? A few of my co-workers have Sprint and I love their Evo's but my boyfriend and I are going on a T-mobile plan together next month be because they are cheaper and I was wondering if they have a phone similar to Sprint's HTC Evo? I want a bigger screen and a droid. I currently have an LG Optimus and its ok.ALSO if you have a phone from Tmobile that fits my question, how do you like it?
There are some features similar but it is very much different.
Q:.Can we charge mobile phone on an inverter / UPS which is used for a personal computer. There are two types of mobile phone charger available.1. Using transformer (old model) heavy weight.2. Light weight charger (using electronic circuit instead of transformer).Someone told me that the out put of inverter / ups is NOT pure AC. That is, not pure sine wave but similar to square wave.If we connect the type 2 (see above) charger to the A.C.output of inverter , then it will damage the charger. (as per my friend his charger got damaged).Could someone technically explain the cause / truth. .
The cheapest inverters put out a pretty rough square wave. It is possible that this could damage a mobile phone charger as the transformer in the charger is an INDUCTIVE load. As for transformerless (switch mode) chargers, they sometimes don't produce an output at all when looking at a square wave input. Using such an inverter to power a soldering iron or cup heater would be fine as these are RESISTIVE loads and are not affected by waveform. I won't go into the math and magnetic permeability etc. However, you CAN get inverters that are modified sine wave but they are considerably more expensive. These will run your charger just fine. They also have generally higher output power. Since your inverter is running a computer it is almost certainly a modified sine wave inverter and will be OK.
Q:I was wondering if its possible that this person I'm seeing as online is actually logged on from their mobile phone but without the mobile status next to their name? She does use Be Right Back every so often (with the red crossed out sign) but no other status could she be logging on from her phone? Or maybe from an iphone? Are there any clues that could give it away?
sturdy success searching it. it form of sounds like numerous telephone now a days is an total pc! i might want to check out your community cellular telephone service and ask some questions! sturdy success searching it!
Q:i tried using 1800-reverse on my mobile hone today because i had no credit and it didn't work, when i got home i tried on my LAN-phone and it worked. i live in south Australia, is there a different number for mobiles?
it depends on how responsible the child is. If they are forgetful or irresponsible than no way. It is a good thing to keep tabs on them at all times though but keep in mind they won't answer it half of the time! It depends if they are responsible enough not to raise the minutes through the roff or constantly text other kids!! I made a huge mistake with my step-son at 15!!!! get a pre-pay phone!!!! If he runs out of minutes then oh well wait until you get more!! My bill was through the roof!!!!
Q:Hi i have been doing some research into mobile phones and i came across a few terms that really confused me, i understand that when you talk on the phone the data is converted from your voice into digital signals, the part i dont understand is where modulation such as PSK occurs and how TDMA and CDMA fits into all of this can someone tell me what the relation is between these things.thank you
There are a few parts to a mobile phone system: most obviously you have the radio interface, some kind of two way radio link between the handset and the 'base station'. This transmitts and recieves digital data using quadrature phase shift keying (PSK). This is a kind of modulation very similar to FM, but is used with digital signals rather than analogue signals. So the digital data is used to phase shift modulate an RF carrier which is then transmitted, and picked up by the base station, which then demodulates the PSK signal to recover the digital data. This is all very well and good, but what do we do when we have many users? How can the base station distinguish between the signal from one hand set and another? This is where Time Division Multiple Access (TDMA) and Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) come into play. TDMA (used in GSM systems) is a kind of time division multiplexing. Each user gets a certain 'time slot' in which they are allowed to transmit their PSK signal in. So each user takes a turn and sends a few bytes at a time. In GSM there are 8 time slots (I think, i cannot recall exactly) in each channel (frequency). The bit rate is low and special vocoders are used to get voice audio into a low bit rate. CDMA works differently, on principles originated by an Austrian actor (and electrical engineer and mathematician!) Hedy Lamarr
Q:Basically I've had my current mobile for a good few years now and I've been saving up for a new one. I'm not too bothered about networks but I think I'm looking for a contract phone. There's obviously the choice between a blackberry and an iphone, but I have no idea what's a good deal and what's not? And also any other types of android mobiles which are really good? I prefer qwerty keyboards but if anyone can suggest a good touchscreen one that would be good too. I'd like to have internet access and app downloads, but I don't want to be spending something crazy like ?35 per month aha. Please help I'm completely lost with all these deals and mobile phones :)
sony ericsson vivaz pro its a cool phone. It runs Symbian. It has a resistive touchscreen ( like windows mobile 6.5) Blackberry stocks are going down. iPhone sucks because you cant tether, no flash, no moving wallpapers, no dual core processors (its only a 1ghz A4 processor) its only got 512MB RAM, not even 1 GB. your best bet it Sony ericsson xperia x10 (cheap, candy bar style touchscreen, running android 2.1 if you want something smaller get the x10, or x8 (xperia) If you are on A GSM network, get the Motorola atrix. (it turns into a laptop with the laptop dock) its running android 2.2. you can make this phone a mobile hotspot (iPhone 4 cant do that) Get an Android phone even better, if you root it (look up superoneclick) you can get free apps that usually cost money on android market., you can also use tethering, and completely change the font of your phone. I rooted my xperia x10 and upgraded to gingerbread (android 2.3) added multitasking, and downloaded some really cool fonts. Also apple stocks have gone down, because android is an open source, and apple is not. No wonder they are losing money.
Q:Phone memory and cache. how to explain?
The system's apk program cache files are cleared out into the phone's settings options, select "Settings" - "application" - "management application".
Q:What is the difference between mobile RAM and ROM?
The speed of the program to run, to see the remaining RAM space, and is like a computer memory.
Q:I want to create a new Yahoo account. After I complete the page with all of my basic info (name, birthday, etc.), it takes me to a page where I can create my security questions and include a mobile phone number. I do not have a mobile phone. When I hit done, a message stating this information is required appears next to the mobile phone box, and I cannot complete registration without it. I have tried linking to an alternate email in the previous step but it still happens. What can I do?
I don't use a mobile phone at all. This is why I've lost 2-3 accounts because of Yahoo's gimmick to boost mobile phone users and it's unfair to me.
Q:Mobile phone recently played the game automatically out of the old, what reason?
This software is not installed, or you have some minor problems with this software. I suggest you pea pods to the mobile phone installed software, this compatibility is better, but will not be a problem.
