- Virgin mobile is way better than Sprint and saves you over 400 dollars a year with the Samsung Intercept phone. Virgin mobile does have reoccuring charges to a credit card of bank account that makes it like a contract. You don't have to worry about forgetting because of the auto payments. I love Virgin Mobile, and I am a total believer over conventional contract programs. The LG Rumor Touch is a good touchscreen Java based phone, but if you want the real laptop in your pocket feel, go with the intercept. Blackberries come with additional charges from virgin mobile, but the Intercept does not for the all the same features and more free apps.
- Q: I have tried to send SMS messages using Yahoo messanger to my friend's mobile phone in India, both from Yahoo Messenger on my phone and my computer. He rarely receives the messages. Also, I have received notification of only one his messages on my mobile phone but couldn't open it to read it, and I have only received a handful of messages from him to my computer. How can I get this to work? And if there was something like he had to have responded to my first SMS before he can get anymore, how do I reset that so we can start again? Its so frustrating because you don't even get an error message when it doesn't go through. it just simply doesn't arrive!
- I seen people in indian sign in from there mobile device. so that way they get their sms on their phone. that is the only way you can send message from US to india other than that i dont think you can use yahoo to send message to your friends phone number. anyway i dont know much hope someone smarter gives u the answer
- Q: Basically I've had my current mobile for a good few years now and I've been saving up for a new one. I'm not too bothered about networks but I think I'm looking for a contract phone. There's obviously the choice between a blackberry and an iphone, but I have no idea what's a good deal and what's not? And also any other types of android mobiles which are really good? I prefer qwerty keyboards but if anyone can suggest a good touchscreen one that would be good too. - when you buy a phone you buy top up cards with a certain amount of money on it. then you might have 50 $ on it or whatever. Then when you talk, depending on rates, the money goes down and you buy more top up cards. To activate cards you type a number into your phone virgin mobiles website should have steps for you! No, activation just activates the phone and minutes you buy so it knows this phone is in use. At the store they aren't activated because no one bought them. Go to Virgin Mobiles website for activation and more info!!

- I've worked with a weather radar (a very advanced one) and it has no concerns about a cell phone operating in a different frequency, with a different modulation and the radar is a Level C system, which means even if it fails, the aircraft's flight is not adversely affected. I work with an FMS now and yet again we have no worries about one cell phone transmitting. Cell phone frequencies are covered during the EMI/EMC testing of airborne equipment. There are good answers above me giving the valid reasons, if some doofus chose to give them TDs and you opt to disregard their wisdom, then cant help it.
