Q:I just bought a sidekick 3 off of OKorder.when i passed my local metropcs store, they said they sold t-mobile phones. But i never asked them if they can have their cell phone plans on the t-mobile phones. Is that possible?
no because metro pcs phones don't use sim cards you have to buy their phones .if you could do that a lot of people will go to metro pcs
Q:i just broke my phone and its a t mobile. i need a new phone, but just the phone, no plan or anything. can anyone help out?
Unfortunately your only choice is to buy a phone at invoice price. If you have a t-mobile account currently you can upgrade for a discounted price on any phone you want, but it WILL extend your contract for 2 years. The only way to avoid the contact extension is to buy the phone at the invoice price. You can go to any t-mobile store and they would be more than happy to help you.
Q:Can you check ur children's text messages on their t-mobile phones?
poor kid lol. u can only check the message if you look in there phone. but they may be deleted. on the bill if you have detailed billing it will show you the number that was texted or that texted them :)
Q:How is the cell phone crash?
It is recommended that you try to restore the default settings, often a key to clean up the background program to ensure that there is sufficient memory space.
Q:I'm currently with Verizon right now and I have a Blackberry. I have a really cute Samsung phone too that I used when I was with T-mobile. If my blackberry ever dies or something like that, can I use the samsung phone?
interior the final couple of months, service carriers are switching sport. Verizon instantaneous, are a ok service no longer the terrific. Cingular has sturdy reception, purely relies upon whast telephone you get. T cellular has sturdy service and suited customer help skills! yet enormous apple far the terrific one now could be sprint. They spend 30million on their community, and quickly to be taking Cingulars spot.
Q:(if you havent had this happen or your not 100% sure. please dont answer!)My best friend had his T-Mobile phone stolen 5 days ago. It was a RZR V3. He didnt cancel the contract or the SIM card, so he could see who was being called, to attempt to find out who took it. The calls were all over the place, in different cities around here. Is there anyway to track his phone and/or SIM to see what area he lives in? Maybe the handset? Hes dreading calling T-Mobile because he owes money, but could they do anything? And finally, what happens if the SIM card gets changed?
He needs to cancel ASAP, or he will pay that other guy phone calls. Well is kinda useless to track the cellphone, is a cellphone not a land phone doesn't gave you address, is pretty hard unless is important.
Q:I was just wondering, If i bought a G1 (ATT Subscriber) without contract and just unlock it through the web service for $24 will I be able to use it? Or do I first need a T Mobile sim to activate the phone?I am confused by the last question there, so please help.
You need a T-Mobile account and data plan just to set the phone up initially. I have one, so I've done it. When you first fire up the phone, it expects to find a T-Mobile sim with an active data plan, and you have to set up Google access with either an existing account or a new account set up on the phone. Once you do that, I understand you can unlock the phone and use it with other GSM systems (like ATT), but there are a couple of caveats: 1. You won't be able to use the T-Mobile data network, even with a ATT data plan. 2. You can allegedly tweak the phone to use the ATT data network, but you still have to have a data plan to do so. 3. You won't have any 3G access on ATT or T-Mobile's network. It will work with the edge network, but since the phoen si a 3G phone, you lost the advantage of that higher speed network. To me, doing it this way is no advantage. Even though ATT has better 3G coverage (currently), T-Mobile is rapidly rolling theirs out, and it is available in many major cities. I have it where I work in DC, but not where I live yet in Jacksonville, Florida, but the edge network works there really well. I know you have an ATT plan, but if your contract is up or close to it, I'd switch. I'm very happy with T-Mobile (been with them many years) and the G1 is an excellent phone.
Q:I want to text message from my mobile phone, but I do not want the texts to go thru my mobile carrier. Is this possible by using my yahoo account?
Hi, yes I believe you can. Your mobile carrier, is for just that; so if you send it through your yahoo account, it would go through that carrier. You should be okay within that. Send one to a friend, in that same fashion and ask your friend to call you right back; say within 5 minutes; and to not call you back within 5 minutes IF it does not work; providing that person is updated with what you are about to do on the phone; then do it. If they call you right back within 5 minutes; then you will know YES! I have arrived! I have freedom! OK? If not, then you know it could not be done. Right? If it doesn't work, you haven't lost much. It didn't cost you anything, that is. So make sure your little message to your friend, is nothing personal.just a general; HI .(name goes here).this is(your name goes here).call me back in 5 minutes, ok? You are doing a test on your phone and cannot do it without.(name). Thanks and I'll call you right back. Bye. It's really that easy. ok? I hope this helped you out. May GOD richly Bless you in your lifetime Journey. Amen?
Q:How do I transfer a landline call to my phone?
In case of a busy call transfer, the user has a third party call during the call and forwards the call to a pre-set fixed telephone or other communication tool. If no answer call forwarding is set, the call will be treated as a busy call transfer when it is rejected.
Q:I just don't understand the methods of payment, plus its so expensive and I do not understand how everyone manages to afford a mobile phone ,just even making a few seconds they take of more than 50p off , Im on o2 I heard thats the cheapers but I was wondering what is cheap ?I know nothing on mobiles I one , and it was a very cheap one it cost 20.00 quid I was wondering which phone is good and which company makes low cost calls as possible
OK, it's either a prepay deal, or a monthly bill. Prepay is probably easier for you to manage. You decide what you'll spend; say $5, ?10, whatever. Then you go into a shop or use an ATM and pay that amount upfront, before you ring anyone. You now have credit of 5, 10, whatever, until you use it up by making calls or sending texts. The calls will each cost more, so keep them brief : ) Many networks have a deal where if you are Prepay and run out of credit, you can text a friend or parent for free to call you instead. Monthly deals mean that the calls you make are cheaper, each. You agree to pay say ?30 per month for maybe 100 minutes, ringing people. If you make calls and stay on for longer than 100 minutes that month, the price of the call goes up a lot per extra minute, and they bill you for more than ?30. If you use less than 100 minutes, you still pay that ?30. You can ask them to recommend you a deal based on how many minutes you spend on the phone so that you get it right. How do people afford a mobile? They text each other instead of making calls. They buy their kids a prepay phone so they can only use what credit they have at the time, and don't commit to spending a set amount every month. Many networks (O2, Vodaphone) will give you a welcome deal when you sign up with them; maybe 50 free text messages for the first 3 months. These can be free only if you text other O2 customers, for example. Or they offer deals if you get others to sign up with that company. For a year. You should ask most of your friends which company they are with, as it might suit you. But you don't need to be a salesperson for them if not! Also, most will give you free call credit if you buy a new mobile - or even a new SIM card, from them. They might give you $10 worth of credit each month for the next 8 months, for example.
