Q:I'd love to use T-Mobile's flexpay monthly plan, sounds like a wonderful deal. Unfortunately the phones compatible with T-Mobile are ridiculously expensive. I don't need a phone that can GPS navigate me, play music, or surf the web. Why do you think I have a stereo and a computer? Those features would be nice, but they're just a luxury. All I really want is a functional phone that has T-Mobile as a carrier. So what is the cheapest T-Mobile carrier phone?
The cheapest phone. Well that depends on where you go to get your service. Some places will give away free phones on Flex Pay month to month. I would just start calling around to some of your local stores. You can also contact your local T-Mobile store to see what deals they have on phones. What phone you can get really depends on how much they paid for the phone in the first place. So that is a difficult question, and it varies. Look in your local newspaper or pennysaver or just drive down a main road and start asking stores ( small shops sometimes give better deals)!!
Q:Are there any new virgin mobile phones that might come out soon or next year. Ik the reverb and rise might come out so are there any big phones that vm might get thx
There is supposed to be a big Samsung and Virgin Mobile announcement on Aug 23 I don't know what it is but I do know its probably going to be a Android phone.
Q:if a mobile phone is on a pay monthly contract, can the sim be taken out and a pay as you go sim put in. will the phone still work if the sim is still with the locked with vodophone or t-mobile ect?
hi,you can try your new sim card, sometimes a phone will be unlocked then it will work.if you want to use another sim and your phone is locked, you must get it unlocked,go to google and put unlock (your phone make and model) and alsorts of links will come up its up to you which way to do it.
Q:I would love to sign up for Boost Mobile's Daily Chat and Text plan, but this question just dawned on me. Do I have to have a new Boost Mobile phone to have their service?I don't care about the walkie-talkie or web surfing, just want to get phone calls and texts. Their prices are right, but don't want to buy a new phone. Thank you for anyone that reads this!
Boost mobile iden/walkie talkie runs on the Nextel iden nationwide network. Their sims can work on any Boost mobile walkie talkie or Nextel phone. Their sims will not work in any other type of phone like Att or Tmobile types. You are pretty much stuck with their lineup. Unless you use Boost cdma. There are TWO Boost mobiles. The Boost cdma is a Boost without walkie talkie or sim on the Sprint network. Sprint owns both Boost mobiles. The good thing about the cdma network is that it is generally faster and more reliable then Boost iden and you can use any Sprint phone after you first activate with a Boost cdma phone then transfer the account to the Sprint phone (You CAN'T open a Boost cdma account with a Sprint phone at the beginning.). Boost cdma recently dropped their prices so that they too have a nationwide $50 unlimited everything plan now. You can buy an older Boost cdma phone, a hot Sprint phone, call 1-877-TLK-MORE , ask for Unlimited by Boost (cdma) ,pay $15 to activate, either port your old number or get a number from the closest area to your area code (they only have phone numbers for thirteen states ). They might say they don't have your state or they need an out of state address. Just give them a Cali or Texas address that you find and port your local number. Boost cdma has better customer service, faster web , faster and more reliable texts and no where near as much dropped phone calls as Boost iden does. Whatever you choose, good luck.
Q:I am going to Europe (I begin in London) and I would like to rent a mobile phone that I can take with me throughout my travels and return at my end point (London)
I believe there is a place in Heathrow that rents mobile phones. I was lucky that my provider here in the US rents them so that anyone who calls my regular mobile phone is forwarded to that number, and all incoming calls to me were free. It's so worth it to have a phone with you--mainly for security, but also because those charming red phone booths often smell of urine!
Q:i really want a new phone but t mobile is super behind on releasing new phones. is there any way i can get a windows phone with a sliding keyboard under a t mobile contract? im pretty sure im due for an update but i am not sure. also i currently have t mobile and was wondering is there any way to upgrade to an iphone?
is there any way i can get a windows phone with a sliding keyboard under a t mobile contract? From what I see of their line-up, no. im pretty sure im due for an update but i am not sure. Check with your local T-Mobile retailer and they can tell you, or just call T-Mobile and they can tell you as well. also i currently have t mobile and was wondering is there any way to upgrade to an iphone? No. T-Mobile does not carry the iPhone, and is unlikely that they can cough up the cash Apple wants in advance to sell the iPhone. If you want an iPhone, you will have to buy an unlocked GSM model. You will not get high speed data though.
Q:I'll be travelling for 3 weeks between Scotland, Wales and England in July. I'd like to have a mobile phone, but Canadian phones don't work with the European mobile systems. I would probably only use it for a couple of calls/day and maybe one or two calls back to Canada. After changing planes in Heathrow, I start my journey in Edinburgh. Does anyone have a suggestion for where/how to obtain a good deal on a mobile phone? It is also likely that I will visit the UK again in a year or two, and so have another chance to use the phone. Thanks!
You might be able to get a pay-as-you-go phone in Heathrow, if your layover is long enough. Otherwise, once you get to Edinburgh, find a mobile phone store- they are everywhere. There's three different ones in St. James Center and at least three more along Princes Street, so if, for instance, you take the bus to Waverly station when you get into town, you could easily walk right into one. You should be able to get a cheap pay-as-you-go mobile for as little as ?10-?15- phones4U has it's cheapest model for ?9.95 phones4u .uk/shop/shop_payg and they have a location in St.James Center. As long as you get ?10 airtime, although since you're not local they might make you buy ?20 airtime- for a three week trip, that should about do you. Any phone you buy here will work all over the UK. Look up the place you're staying online, then type mobile phone, Edinburgh, (name of area or nearby street) into Google- you should be able to find somewhere convenient. Have a great time!
Q:i wanted to know how refurbished T-Mobile phones are. How they're wear and tear comes and if they have any problems with signals or buttons or anything like that. I was looking at the Samsung Vibrant in the refurbished form and also the HTC mytouch 3G slide! if anyone has any information i would love that! thank you soo much reading! :)
Samsung Vibrant Android Phone (T-Mobile) The first thing you notice about the Vibrant is its big beautiful screen. The 480x800 AMOLED screen is sharp and beautiful, easy to type on, and shows plenty of detail. -The phone itself is thin and light, with a nice curve near the bottom to hold onto. -1 GHz Samsung Hummingbird processor is faster in benchmarks than a 1 GHz Snapdragon and offers enhanced graphics procesing -The buttons are not buttons but touch sensitive surfaces, like a flat screen TV. -16gb of onboard storage is awesome. Add a 32gb microsdhc card and you've got 48gb, more than the iPhone. -3G connection takes advantage of T-mobile's ever expanding 3G network, currently the fastest of any carrier in many cities. -5 megapixel camera takes decent pictures and records video at 720p. .
Q:Mobile phone is closer to the distance between people? Or alienated the distance between people?
The most important function of the mobile phone is to facilitate people to contact, to promote communication, communication, which we can not draw the phone closer to the emotional distance between people's conclusions.
Q:Can anybody tell me if any of these T-Mobile phones can go on the internet for free through a wi fi connection using a wireless router?Nokia 5310Nokia 5610Nokia 6301Blackberry Pearl 8100Blackberry Pearl 8120Motorola ROKR E8If anyone has tried any of these phones, do any of them have slow internet if they even have it, or do you get a pretty fast, decent connection, or does it just depend on how fast your internet and router is? I've checked the T-Mobile website and tons of other sites and still can't figure it out. If a phone has Hotspot @ home service, then does that guarantee that it can also go on the internet through a wi fi connection using a wireless router for free?
Are these all T-mobile branded phones? If so, going to the Tmobile website should yield you results for each phone. It will specifically say WiFi capable if the phone has such capabilities. Off the top of my head, the Blackberry Pearl 8120 is the only one I know that has WiFi enabled. The 8100 regular does not. Again, you would have to look at each phone specifically and see if it's capable. If these are phones 1year old or more, then chances are they are not. If they're not Tmobile specific phones, you would have to go to the provider's website and look it up. Even if they're not Tmobile phones, you can use WiFi. I have the Blackberry Curve and the internet isn't as FAST as the iPhone but it's still pretty fast. I don't have much waiting times, especially using WiFi. If you subscribe to the Hotspot thingy, you can use the WiFi pretty much in any Tmobile hotspot and the best part is if you make phone calls in those wifi areas, it's FREE. Yup. Doesn't count off your regular minutes plan. And yes it's a guarantee that you'll get wifi if you're subscribed, unless your router dies or something.
