Q:Butterfly valve switch direction respectively?
If there is no arrow on the handwheel, the indicator on the turbine has been damaged, you can put your ear on the wall of the pipe, turn the handwheel, and through the sound of the pipe medium to determine the direction of the switch.
Q:I did a compression check on my 350 chevy. I have low compression of 175psi on one cylinder. The other seven cylinders range from 195psi to 205psi Could the valves be too tight on the cylinder with 175 psi compression?
Chev engines have hydraulic lifters, keeping the valves adjusted correctly at all times. 20 lbs isn't much to worry about anyway, but if you want dump a little oil (about a tablespoons worth) into that cylinder and recheck it. If the compression jumps up, then your rings are getting weak. If not, you may have a leaky valve.
Q:19 years ago i had a valve repair and now im due to have heart valve replacement. I heard that the metal valve make noise has anyone who has had the metal valve have this type f problem or any other problem with the metal valve it would be a great help if anyone could answer
I've had a couple of patients tell me they could hear their metallic valves in the quiet of the night. It isn't something that would bother you all the time. The anticoagulant needed makes a lot of people choose the pig valve, but the latter will wear out and need replacement periodically. Lewis Grizzard, who died from complications of his fourth valve replacement, wrote a book They Tore Out My Heart and Stomped That Sucker Flat, that was half about his aortic valve and half about his love life, the author having had as many ex-wives as heart valves. It may be difficult to find a copy now, but it's a book you'd enjoy reading, and contemplating it (and him) might help you decide.
Q:I HAVE A 2003 FORD EXPEDTION THAT IS IDLE ROUGH,AND WILL EVENTUALLY STALL. TODAY I FOLLOWED THE PCV VALVE HOSE TO THE BACK OF THE THROTTLE BODY AND NOTICED THERE IS A BIG HOLE ON THE ELBOW OF THE HOSE. HOW CAN I CHANGE IT? CAN I JUST FORCE THE HOSE OUT AND SIMPLY PUT A NEW ONE? BEEN HAVING THIS ROUGH IDLE /STALL PROBLEM FOR A WHILE I CLEANED IAC VALVE, THROTTLE BODY CHANGED THE AIR FILTER AND ALSO CLEANED THE MASS AIR FLOW SENSOR, I HAVE A P0171 system to lean(bank 1) code
So, the rubber elbow hose has a hole in it. Your best bet is to get the replacement from the Ford dealer. Yes, you can buy just the elbow part from the parts counter at the dealer. If they start acting all dumb (and won't help you or sell you the part) then, go to a different dealer for the part. Another thing you could try is a used one from the junk yard BUT, it's been my experience that the rubber gets too hard and the PCV valve needs a lot of encouragement to be removed. Sometimes you'll damage the used elbow by trying to get it off of the engine or removing the old PCV valve to put in your replacement valve. That's why I recommend getting a new one straight from the source. They are pretty simple to change with ordinary hand tools and some mechanical know-how. You just pull the elbow off of the port that it's attached to on the engine. The valve will probably have a steel clip that goes around the hose at one end of the valve inside of the hose. You simply squeeze the clip with a pair of pliers and tug at the valve until it comes out of the elbow.
Q:When i waa replacing the valves in the las 4 valves , they dropped and i dont know how to make them go back up, and i dont want to take the engine out of the car, is there any tool to make the valve go back up or there is any way to do it?? People told me that i can crank it by and , but i dont know how to do it where do i have to do it, i need help please im begging for help!
As you've been asking this question for a week now time and time again I guess its time for the Nasty one to set you straight, As I've been a mechanic for over 30 years my knowledge is vast and no further questions need to be asked, You screwed up! now that you have dropped the valves into the cylinders you have to remove the head or heads that you screwed up on, period, end of sentence, there is no other way, and no you will not need to remove the engine to remove the heads, But had you did a bit of research before diving into this without a clue you would have found that a simple length of clothes line or thin rope stuffed down the spark plug hole and turned the engine over by hand to bring the piston up and push the rope into the valves to hold them place would have saved you from pulling the heads off this POS, excuse me I meant fine piece of English engineering, by trying to turn the engine over now is just a good way to bend a valve, and for all you know the piston could have been at the bottom of its stroke and the valves fell out of there guides are not even in contact with the head, so with this said do some research on how to remove the heads on this thing and fix your screw up. Live and learn, you just opted to learn the hard way,
Q:What is the national standard for clip butterfly valves?
GB/T 12238-2008 "flange and clip connection elastic seal butterfly valve"GB/T 26144-2010 flanged and clip on steel lined fluoroplastic butterfly valvesJB/T 8527-1997 "metal sealed butterfly valve"
Q:Who was the first doctor to discover Pulmonary Valve Stenosis? Also, who was the first doctor to perform surgery for it? Please and thank you for your help.P.S. I have this condition.
1761 - Pulmonary valvar or valvular stenosis is one of the more common forms of congenital heart malformations and it has been extensively studied since the original description of pulmonary valve stenosis by John Baptist Morgagni in 1761. 1888 - Tetralogy of Fallot, first characterized by Dr.Etienne Fallot in 1888, is present in about 3000 children born each year in the United States. It is a combination of four heart abnormalities. Dodrill and his colleagues employed it with success for the open correction of a stenotic pulmonary valve in October 1952.
Q:What's the difference between D71X-16 and D71H-16 butterfly valves?
First, model D71X model means that, on behalf of 7 representative D butterfly valve, butterfly valve connection form for clamp connections, 1 straight, X represents the seal in the form of soft sealing, the sealing surface usually NBR H metal seal is usually 2Cr13 16 represents the pressure of 16 kg pressure weldingJin Ya valve is the production of hard sealing butterfly valve or soft sealing butterfly valve line leader, what problems can ask their units, technicians will answer for you

Q:I have 1993 Seville 4.9. I got a new EGR valve but it didn't help. I tested it with vacuum pump, it won't hold pressure at all, same with old one. Is that new EGR valve bad or just different type of EGR that vacuum pump won't work? Thanks!
Did you get that EGR valve from Cadillac dealership?? A lot of those aftermarket parts DO NOT LIKE Cadillac's!!!!!!!!!! I run into that all the time nor will we use any aftermarket parts due to the problems we have with them. Make sure that switch is working that controls the EGR valve. I have seen those fail also. You need access to a serive manual so you can command that switch on off check with a test light a vacuum gauge to make sure you are getting vacuum to that EGR Valve. Also, make sure that the ports are not clogged up with carbon, even check the pipe inside the throttle body opening, they should be clean inside those tubes !!!!!!!!!
