It is often difficult to tell which blood test a person is asking about. I wonder if your reading of 9 is your hemoglobin. If so 9 would be diagnostic of anemia but not which type of anemia. If a person is suspect of having iron deficiency anemia the serum iron is not the proper test but rather the ferritin. A ferritin of 9 would be low. Thus the answer to your question is whether or not you have anemia and what type of anemia. If you have a low ferritin anemia the solution is a prescription for one of a variety of ferritin replacements such as ferrous sulfate. If I may be of further assistance please let me know. Iron deficiency is the most common mineral deficiency in women. The best source of iron is obtained from eating meats (Heme-Iron sources). Vitamin C also helps with absorbing Iron especially if you don't eat much meat and get your iron from other foods (Non-Heme Iron). GHDs are amazing but they are too expensive for me, I've got through a couple of pairs and ended up getting a cheap pair for just ?30 and it does JUST as good a job and they are Babyliss ones. As long as they are ceramic and go up to 230 degrees for me it works, and my hair is really thick and long. Don't be persuaded to buy professional flat irons because you end up paying a lot of money just for the name, and you find they are just the same as the cheaper ones.

Iron in liquid form is the best. B vitamin drops are good too. Get both and take the iron once a day and the B drops as many times as it says. If you are not having health problems this should get you going. If it doesn't, you should tell your doctor because you could have a sleep disorder or other health problem.
