But if you want to disassemble the wheel, re-use the rim and lace it to a rear hub, then yes, you can do that. You may have to get new spokes if the new rear hub requires a different length than what was used with your front hub (same rim), but that just depends on what you get. It's a job for a skilled mechanic and if you've never done any wheel building I wouldn't suggest that you try it out this time, especially for a rear wheel. Besides, you'll probably find out that it will be much cheaper to just buy a new complete rear wheel once you add up all the costs involved. They usually are about 60mm+ You can usually get them around 70-80s when you're talking grip.

Q:witch wheels are fater for skateboarding bigger or smaller: smaller wheels give you faster acceleration but end up been slow in the end. They are also easy to get going compared to bigger wheels. Big wheels are usually faster in the end. It also depends what kind and how good your bearings are. One thing I can say though is that if you are a trick skater, or want to start doing tricks go for the bigger wheels. They will be more forgiving with bumps and edges. Think of it this way. If a small wheel comes up to a bump it will basically slam into it and you could fall of your board. If you have a bigger wheel it can get over the bump easier because it has abigger arcc or radius.
