Q:How does the phone delete the phone number on the SIM card?
Or find "show SIM card number", set, exit and then re-enter the business card holder, confirm that the number on the SIM card - all selected to delete.
Q:I picked out this phone on the T-Mobile website, and it won't let me check out. I think it will only let me check out if I choose a monthly rate plan, but I don't need one. Is there any way I can just buy the phone off the website, or do I need to buy a plan for it? I don't need a plan, so do I need to go to a local T-Mobile store, and buy one there? Will they have all the inventory they display on their website? Detailed answers will most likely get Best Answer. :) Thank you everyone who helps!!
Usually the website has phones priced to go with a 2yr contact. You would need to call T-Mobile customer care and ask them. They are really nice and easy to get answers from. You can buy phones at the store but, you will likely have to pay retail which is way expensive up front but, you won't be stuck in a new contract if yours is already up. You have to weigh your options as far as that goes. Sometimes you can get a good deal on OKorder as far as phones go. Good Luck!
Q:i got a t-mobile phone that has been disconnected i was wondering if i get a new prepaid sym card am i gonna be able to use it?
I Work for TMobile. Yes, there is no difference between a PrePay SIM card and a SIM card activated on a contract. There is no difference in the process for us in activating a used phone, or a brand new phone. (Except the SideKick) Just know that PrePay will not allow the data functions to work on Data phones (BlackBerry, Wing, Dash, any windows mobile device.) If it is a SideKick, just let the salesman know, it is a slightly different process, but no big deal. Also, if it is a SK and it was previously registered to someone else, after you activate you have to call 1800.937.8997 and ask for the SK department, then ask them to wipe it clean. They dont care where the phones come from, it is not their problems, so dont worry. Hope that helps Choose best answer if you think mine was!!!!
Q:I'm 17I'm looking to buy a cheap mobile phone that will last a long timeI don't want to spend anymore than $200. What are some good phones?I live in Brisbane Australia
I have found that the best value mobile phones are the prepaid deals. You obviously get a prepaid card with it, which may be what you want. If it isn't, then you can use it up and then just use your previous sim card (if you had one), as you usually would. There are some good Nokia phones for $99. They can be found at Telstra Shops, Woolworths, Big W, Harvey Norman.just to name a few locations. Goodluck. I have been in the same situation and found this to the best option.
Q:I activated mobile tracker on my samsung phone a few weeks ago, and i lost my phone a few days ago. How do I find my phone using the tracker?
Mobile phone tracking tracks the current position of a mobile phone even on the move. To locate the phone, it must emit at least the roaming signal to contact the next nearby antenna tower, but the process does not require an active call. GSM localisation is then done by multilateration based on the signal strength to nearby antenna masts. Hope this information is helpful for you.
Q:Assalamu alaikom sweet friends :-)i want to know if the use of mobile phones in Egypt differ from its use worldwide ??Do you think that we use it differently ?on a Social level, do you find that it caused a considerable change in the way people communicate.and is it positive or negative ??and please state, from your viewpoint, some advantages and disadvantages for its use .thaaaaaaaaanks in advance :-)
Weeeeell, yeah, we're a bit undertechnological as I've almost never actually seen a cellphone used in Egypt to make videocalls even though the service is available. Most Egyptians don't use their cellphones to browse the web even though most of the people in the west do. Of course, it's caused a considerable a change. A huge change Positive and negative. Positive because you actually get the chance to communicate freely with whoever you want, there are no location restrictions (because it's not connected to any wall or something) and you could call them instantly. Negative because, as you can contact them instantly, you can disrupt their private lives and steal their privacy completely.
Q:I have a T-Mobile HP Phone Pocket PC thing and I use cingular. Can they unlock the phone to work with cingular?
yup you can get it unlocked but it can be expensive if you get it unlocked I'd say about $50 or so hope this helps :D

Q:basically, mobile phone reception appears NOT to be affected by wind. But is that correct? at what point does wind, rain, etc affect radio signals?
Ho, ho, ho. Its the late Noughties, not the 1990s - reception is no longer an issue now. There are mobile phone receivers hidden in: Office blocks Flats Trees Lamp posts Farm buildings Industrial sites The list goes on. What I am trying to say is that back in the 90s, when mobiles were just beginning to get commercially popular and available there were nowhere near as many mobile phone masts since the market didn't demand it; not enough people were using mobiles. Now everyone has one and reception is simply not an issue with ANY operator unless you live up a high mountain or in the Outer Hebrides, which I doubt you do. The huge increase in customers has meant mobile phone operators have placed receivers EVERYWHERE. So, lose the 1990s reject opinion of cellular technology and simply find the best deal possible on whichever operator it is. Reception differing on individual network operators is utter, weapons-grade bullsh!t. Differing reception between operators is such a misnomer these days that if you do suffer from bad reception, it is more likely to be your PHONE than the operator itself. And even if you do wonder into an area where your operator does not have a mast, then your mobile will automatically switch into the next nearest mast and it doesn't matter which operator hosts it. So why would anyone ever have a reception issue these days unless they are using a leather case lined with lead.
