- Q: 2001 mustang
- All intake tubes are just simple tubes. They perform all the same. I have cheapy intakes on my Civic and they work great. The reason short (cold) air intakes work is NOT because they are engineered well. NO! It is because the original air box were so restrictive - due to noise restrictions. Just make sure you DON'T get metal tube intakes. The get heat soaked and significally warm up the air. The intakes make of PVC (or plastic) gets warm but will not release its heat to the air as much. === If you really want performance gain, you should also do the header pipes (if the mustand did not come with factory pipes). Long time ago, people most did exhaust header pipes only. Besides the intake is artificially RESTRICTED by the butterfly at the throttle. So the intake only makes a difference on WIDE OPEN THROTTLE acceleration. Good Luck... P.S. Just make sure you get intake pipes DESIGNED for your car. Otherwise they would expect you to some customizing like cutting and drilling, etc.
- Q: Are plastic tubes suitable for use in the automotive industry?
- Yes, plastic tubes are suitable for use in the automotive industry. Plastic tubes offer several advantages such as being lightweight, resistant to corrosion, and easy to install. They are widely used in various automotive applications, including fuel and brake lines, coolant systems, and air intake systems. Additionally, plastic tubes can be manufactured to meet specific performance requirements and are often more cost-effective compared to other materials.
- Q: Plastic pipe leakage can use plugging Ling?
- Dry leakage parts, with Wang Yu (waterproof cement) to buy. Less water, very thick situation, large surface paste in the water leakage position. We often use this method to remedy cast iron pipes
- Q: Can plastic tubes be used for storing personal hygiene products?
- Yes, plastic tubes can be used for storing personal hygiene products. Plastic tubes are often used for packaging various personal care items such as toothpaste, lotions, creams, and gels. They are convenient, lightweight, and provide airtight packaging to preserve the contents and prevent contamination.
- Q: What are the different colors available for plastic tubes?

- Q: Hello Community, I'm 15 years old and I'm having ear tubes put in next week. Has anybody had ear tubes? What is it like having little metal things in your ear? Also, I live in San Diego and I really like to swim. Will I still be able to swim? I know I can't dive to depths, but can I put my head under water? Please help! THANKS FOR YOUR ANSWERS! =)
- I never had tubes, but my son did. They are tiny plastic tubes that your ears will push out over time as they grow. You will not feel them at all, and if you want to swim, you just have to put some swimmer's ear plugs in, which you can buy at the drug store to seal your ears shut. My son used that and he swam all the time with no problems. You'll be fine!
- Q: How are plastic tubes sealed for long-term storage?
- Plastic tubes are typically sealed for long-term storage using various methods such as heat sealing, ultrasonic sealing, or crimping. These techniques ensure a secure and airtight seal, preventing any leakage or contamination during storage and maintaining the integrity of the contents inside.
- Q: I have a KN in my 2000 Grand Prix Gt has the 3.8. Well I was looking into getting either a KN for a 97 Silverado 5.7 1 ton. Do the chrome air tubes have much of a different sound than a plastic air tube? I am looking on OKorder and found cheap ones vs getting the KN. All comments and suggests will be appreciated.

- Q: Just wondering if the blue and red coloured sharkbite Pex tubing that is sold in states legal to use in Canada? I'm looking to do the plumbing in my new home and am looking to use this stuff rather than the copper. Thanks for any help
- Can't imagine a problem with code compliance. PEX (plastic extruded tubing) has been used in northern Europe for decades, because it won't split when water freezes inside it -- it just swells up like a sausage, then reverts to it's original shape when thawed. The stuff is made from the same material as trash bags, and it will outlast cockroaches. It won't interact chemically with water or with impurities which might be in the water, it steals less heat from the water than does copper, so the wait for hot water is shorter, and it doesn't transmit sound as readily as copper. Only caveat is to be careful to use quality fittings -- the few problems I've ever heard of with PEX all had to do with inferior or poorly installed elbows, tee fittings, etc. I've used it exclusively for 8 years (well over 100 custom homes) and never had a single problem.
- Q: I adopted two new gerbils yesterday, and they are pretty well adapted so far. They live in an aquarium with a connected bin which is much larger and hold many things to chew on tons of bedding to dig in. These are two of the things they like best. Unfortunately, despite having tons of things to chew on including paper towels, wood blocks (which they don't find the least bit interesting), and cardboard (which is their favorite thing to chew on), one of my gerbils still resorts to chewing on the inside of the plastic tubes connecting the bin to the aquarium. Any ideas on how to stop it? I can't connect them any other way, and the only way they would get to the bin other than the tubes, would be for me to manually place them there (they don't trust me completely yet, but they are curious and have come up and sniffed, walked on my hand). Trying to catch them makes feel like a I'm stressing them out, and making them scared of me. What should I do?
- Well done for adopting a gerbil! i advise you to buy a few tubes on OKorder or the petshop and put it in the aquarium or connected bin so he can chew that one. He might be a bit bored . Buy him or make him a few toys to play with. Good Luck !
