Cats are nocturnal so they are crazy at night and sleep during the day and who knows maybe your cat does sleep in your bed during the day. Cats are also very picky about where they sleep. For example: my cat only sleeps in the guest bedroom, my parents bedroom and on the top on the couch. If you want your cat sleeping in your room you could try putting catnip on the bed before you go to bed so the cat can get used to the bed and he/she will most likely go CRAZY over it but the cat will calm down and fall asleep.

Although I have never had hamsters, I have had guinea pigs and ran into a problem of another sort with pine bedding with my first guinea pig. Somehow my guinea pig managed to get a piece of pine bedding stuck in his rear end. He could not get it out and began biting himself. While this was going on, I walked by his cage and noticed he was bleeding from his rear. I took him to the vet who was able to remove the piece and then give him antibiotics. The vet told me that the best kind of bedding is a softer type of bedding called Carefresh. According to Carefresh's manufacturers, this bedding is all-natural and does not contain chemical contaminants. So this is another reason why I use Carefresh bedding, although this does answer your question. Carefresh is a safer alternative as a bedding for your pets.

You are correct... spray in bed liners are better than the fit in style bed liners. Fit in bed liners can be removed from vehicles but they tend to vibrate over time which rubs the paint off of the truck. Spray in bed liners are more durable, they have higher resale value, and they provide more friction to things in the bed. I have a 2007 GMC Sierra and would definetily recommend spray in liners (line x, rhino). It does cost more. Mine cost about $450. Depending on where you live, it could be more expensive.

Get yourself an Aerobed. They come in different sizes with a ump to inflate as needed. You can deflate very quickly to store. They are inexensive and fairly comfortable. Good luck to you all.

I'd get a bunkbed if they're going to be sharing a room, but put something on each side on the top so they can't fall out. Don't want to do bunk bed? Get them toddler beds, it'll last.

Q:I need info on a bed rail I can put on a toddler bed. My little one is a VERY restless sleeper and is constantly falling out of her toddler bed in her sleep. Most bed rails are for twin beds. Has anyone found a good one for a toddler bed?

I had the same problem. And my son is SUPER picky about only sleeping on his own bed. A transition from his crib straight to a twin bed would not work with him at all. I got the bed rail and decided to put his mattress on the floor and use the rail since he doesn't have a mattress and box spring yet. (I took the drop side off the crib and left the other 3 sides up around the mattress.) He loves his bed (again, a slow transition), and the rail keeps him from falling onto the floor. We are getting him a twin bed in a couple months, but this was a good solution in the meantime so he wasn't climbing out of his crib. He doesn't even get out of bed at night. Good luck!

Aspen for cheap, otherwise care fresh is great for all pets. NO cider bedding, pine is fine
