- Q:I wanna know a way to make a fort over my bed that I can sleep under. My bed is just pushed up to the corner of my room and theres a big window behind it.
- they did offer twin bed tents..at bed bath and beyond you could use PVC(white sprinkler pipe and make a box around your bed to drape fabric.. they also sell...muslin on a ring that hangs and is draped aroung the bed... relax vote for a best answer.

- My ceilings are 8 feet, too! I've been on a loft bed search for a while, and while the Ikea loft bed is too tall for me, I have found a really nice and perfect sized loft bed at Walmart! Take a look at the link in my sources.

- I agree -- a daybed. I thought the futon was a great idea; I loved how cute it looked when it folded up and I love everything oriental, etc. Unfortunately, I never really slept on it myself until after I got married and I started having trouble sleeping!! Now I spend at least 2-3 nights a week regretting my decision. Thankfully, I've just talked my husband into switching to a daybed, since we now have a regular once a month guest coming over. YEAH!!

- Sleigh beds and Mission beds refer to the aesthetics of the bed. Sleigh beds are reminiscent of (surprise!) sleighs, while mission-style beds are in the arts-and-crafts / clean lines / mission style. Mission would be a more appropriate style for a platform bed but either can be a platform bed if you wish, you just need to design it as such.
